What's your favorite small race?

Gnolls aren't small, and they never have been. They're as tall as or taller than a lot of races. *snort* Also I suspect they're doing this to see which races are most popular, and which to include of the -original- races. I doubt we'll see ALL of the EQ/EQII races, let alone at first. Personally, I voted for Gnomes.

The fact that the Fae and Asrai just came about in EQ2 one day just doesn't seem like an excuse for flimsy lore, it seems. I would like to see them show up in EQNext, both fleshed out and with different types of wings (I hope said wings are tons more customizable than in EQ2).

Not that odd when you consider the fact we know for a fact Dwarves are in the game. We don't know about any of the others. *shrug*

Many games have Gnomes and halfling type races. While I think EQN would be amiss without Gnomes and Halflings, I want to see Fae in the game as well, with frogloks trailing closely behind.

If we ever did have a Ninja class and Ratonga, I expect to see 532423^10 different variations of Splinter.

Wow... I am surprised the fae have gotten as many votes as they have, and surprised Halflings aren't the top pick.

This was actually a really hard question for me to answer. I have characters that are all of the above, and I love them all. I do agree that the hoppiness of frogloks was a bit much in EQ2 - I actually deleted my first one because it was making me motion sick. I really hope we will get getting a few of these races, and not just one!

If there are no gnomes at launch I won't play the game, ratongas are acceptable though but not as main character

I'm rather indifferent on all 5 options. Dwarves would definitely be number ONE if there were an option.

If they somehow tie gnomes together with guns though..hrm..

I'm curious how many people want Fae, and if they'll actually include them considering how late to the party they were, so to speak. That, and it's like.. eight hundred years before they're created, if we look at the timeline. Although they could always fudge that or come up with a reason to include them. *shrug*

That being said... I would love a Halfling who has a Ratonga or Froglok mount!

What I can't understand why the frogloks are getting the shaft in this poll currently. Tis a sad day for me. I thought they were, a very original awesome race.

Gnomes, Halflings, Rats have their place.

I hope the customizable options in generally are better than in EQII. Some of the hair styles, particularly.. ugh. Still, if the Fae -do- show up they definitely need much better lore. Especially the Arasai just randomly being created one day by Cristanos.

Wouldn't think it would be easy to design every single item on different races, animations for every spell and what attack and what not. *shrug* Not to mention any difference in racial stats, or racial abilities, or other differences they go with. Course, as I'm not a game designer I'm not sure how much more difficult it would be. Still, the animations.. I mean, just for heroic movement you'll have a lot of work for each race, not counting anything else.

I have not had a problem with Chrome, might be one of your extensions?
