What's your favorite small race?

Ratonga! How can you not favorite the Ratonga?!

Smart, funny, technologically inclined, snappy dressers and only one of three races that was able to create sentient life on Norrath! (Dragons and Iksar being the other two)

i don't know much about previous titles, but i want some Fae/Arasai. I haven't really gotten many chances to play anything like this and I would really like to. I know this may not be what this poll is suggesting, but man, I really want to come across some cute little flying faeries and be one. No jokes people.

Dwarves, gnomes, Haflings...uggh. It's just too often i seem them and they are nasty creatures. Especially dwarves...and gnomes...and halflings. Bleck.

Frogloks and Ratongas? Meh...ok I suppose. Still though, gimme Fae Baby!

Ratongas for me, has always been one of my favorite. Gnome coming in at a close second with Frogloks at a close third.

I thought we already had a poll to ask whether Ratongas should be in the game or not, so even though I really want them to be it seems like they are getting a leg up by being included in this as well.

Also, why are Dwarves not on this poll? Wouldn't they be consider a small race technically as well? I think my Ratonga was the same height if not taller than most Dwarves in EQ2. Perhaps they were left out since they have already been confirmed to be in the game at release.

Halflings!

I went with Gnomes but Halflings are a very close second to me!

For the small races, i'm kinda impartial to frogloks just because they were the best animated, and last new race in Everquest 1. It has more to do with their character animations than anything though. backflip while casting = win !

Halflings are kinda rare, actually. I think only 3 MMOs have Halflings (LoTR, EQ, NWN:O)

Fae/asari have mixed opinions. One side hates seeing happy fairy people, the other (like me) FREAKIN' LOVE FAIRY PEOPLE! They have permanently slow-fall, what's not to love? And the customization options on the wings is soooo much fun.

But I voted for gnomes, because gnomes are the master race and if you didn't vote for them... May Tunare have mercy upon your soul.

Gnolls! Gnolls! Gnolls! They deserve their due!

I love Halflings and Frogloks, but Gnomes > all other small races. Who doesn't love a Gnome's wit and gadgets?

Frogloks, Ratongas,Fae/Arasai get my vote. Art and lore really influence my decision in the end. Looking forward to seeing what the creative team come up with.

Fae/Arasai are my favorites, even though they weren't in EQ1 and I only played EQ2 a short time since they were introduced. I love fairy themed races, but they seem to be so rare in MMOs. I would like to see every race listed in EQ Next, at least eventually. Froglok would be my next favorite as I found them to be a really interesting race both before and after they were playable in EQ1 and they're a race type you rarely see.

While not exactly the same as a Fae, ever since I got the Fairy Wing item from participating in one of EQ's expansions, I've spent more time in Fairy illusion than normal or any other racial illusion on my Rogue and would love to be able to play something similar in EQN.

One race I was disappointed didn't make the list was Bixie. I never got into the area where higher level Bixies appeared in EQ1 so I don't know anything of their story, but they seemed like an interesting race and I think they would be a lot of fun to play as potentially.

I surprised myself with my answer to this one.... I chose Frogloks.
My Froglok wizard in EQ2 eventually became my 2nd favorite character.

I love having Gnomes and Halflings around though, I just never played them much personally.
