What's your favorite small race?

I'm betting Dwarves are already in, and this is the list of extras.

I admit to being partial to halflings, because I'm a fan of the Hobbit, and EQ2 made playing them fun. Their round cherub little faces their love of all things food make them pretty irresistible.

Other small races do have their good qualities too, but the gnomes with their haphazard tinkering and drunken dwarves are less appealing to me than the sweet-faced halflings. The fae and arsai are attractive enough, but they don't seem to have the long history that the other small races have, the ratonga even less so.

My goal for EQ:N: Find Tunare and Cazic Thule. I want my evil/good fights!

I'd play a Gnoll!! My wife says she'd hunt me down relentlessly if I played a Gnoll, but I bet i'd grow on her.

Frogloks.

I'm hoping we have some rallying calls concerning the gods that are missing, though Tunare was supposed to have created the Elves, which are already in the game, so I don't know how that's gonna work. The other gods could have been fudged a bit but Tunare/Inny were responsible for creating entire races. They shoulda been in from day 1.

As I have said, don't care for vemin like frogloks & ratonga. Love the Fae/Arasai though.

Usually here I say "Go Gnome or Go Home." But this is Everquest. Frogloks ARE Everquest. ....that being said, I'm still playing a Troll. Sloppy Trollie Kisses for everyone!

For me it's a close toss up between Halfling and Gnome from the list provided, but I went with Halfling for the poll.

Furry feet won out over punt-ability.

I played an Ogrrra female for many many years in EQ1 and my favorite small race was no doubt Halflings.. Roasted well done, their flesh just melts on my tongue and the hairy feet make excellent salad..

Bu why are dorfs missing ? not only does their hair make excellent salad as well but their armpit sweat makes absolute fantastic salad dressing..

True... ahh well, I guess Cazic will have to wait. =/

Since we are all starting in one giant tent city, it shouldn't be a matter of having to create new starting areas for each race, so shouldn't it be fairly easy to have *all* of these races available? Their home towns can be re-discovered with rallying calls later on, even, which gives the devs extra time to design them before they add the RC.

Have to go with Frogs and Rats... Dare to be different! I find those race are such a wonderful canvas to roleplay! Of course that only really works when you are actually with RPers... Otherwise all a race is really is a cosmetic skin for your avatar. So many MMO players are stat ****** who will chose races strictly based on how it will combine with thier class to maximise their efficiency... no roleplay there, just thousands of clones...

I wouldn't mind frogloks if they walked the way frogloks NPCs do instead of being so "hoppy"...the hoppy-ness really bothered me.

However, if I could choose only one race that could be in the game from that list, it would definitely be the ratonga.

Frogloks are good for their legs. Deep fried and covered in vinegar. Mm..

The Gnomes taste great but i prefer the crispy wings on Fae / Arasai. What about side dishes?
