There's really no reason for the Em1 to have worse hipfire than the Anchor. It already does less damage, why does it need to be less accurate too? Also, it loses more accuracy when moving while ADSing than many (all?) other Adv. Laser LMGs so it's even worse at short range 1x reflex ADS fighting too. I guess I don't understand why it has to be clunkier in those other ways too on top of bad damage. Pff.
I would have gone with a ROF buff to 698, to make it par with sva 88 for example. Otherwise the gun is average, but not bad, I like it. It's the only weapon NC got with more than 600 RPM in the lmg arsenal, so you gotta take it for what it is.
EM1 is the gun you use when you are just plain bored, have used all the other guns and just want a change of pace, or a feeling of firing a dakkaey NC LMG. Its highly in effective, requires only headshots. its one advantage is it is accurate, even in long bursts. But as for killing power? You would have better luck just pulling out your mag shot. EM1 requires you to land every shot in the head, otherwise you lose..... I give it a 3/10, 3 only because it sounds cool, it is accurate and it can have an Exmag......but otherwise, I really hated it.
EM1 needs to become a 167@8m-124@65m 625RpM LMG. Closer range EM6. Punchy in close, inaccurate at range, faster then the EM6, but still not even close to a TR LMG.
I would trade every single TR LMG for a non-EM1 NC LMG. And you already have the Cyclone. It's the CQ LMG of the NC.

Lol, but the TR LMGs atleast fire fast enough to make the 143 work, atleast the CARV and MSWR do. Really, 143@750 is the ideal Dmg/RoF combo to best use those numbers. Anything lower then 750 and the 143 just seems to lack. Anything higher and it goes from good to amazing...ish, when hit detect doesnt go stupid. 167@600 is ideal, lower might barely work and higher goes to amazing. 200@500, almost workable, but 520 or so would be absolutely awesome lol. 143@652? its almost like using a musket against an MG42....
Eh, you make a point. I just facepalm most of the time when they want heavy assault buffs especially nc because i have a bias against nc, your community is full of very unpleasant people, and while there are more nice people and really fun people, theres a lot of whiny salty people that you would never talk to. Anyway back to the point, 143 at 652 is very nice in certain situations. The short time i played nc, and the even shorter time i played nc heavy, my three favourite weapons were the EM1, SAW, and Anchor. I used the anchor for general purpose, SAW for indoors especially techplants, and the EM1 outdoors when i needed to do mid to long range because the ROF made the recoil manageable, it was easy enough to aim for the head when you got used to the vertical, and was generally good for outdoors and amp stations.

I think the "damage" trait of the NC attracts all the moronic 2 year olds who would rather be in their room with a porno and their hand with a bottle of lotion...........cuz they are all idiots...... They cant aim, have no tactical sense, cant drive, cant fly, are incapable of telling friend from foe, TK at will, road kill just because, blow you up cuz your not playing how they want. After 2 years of seeing the NC and their incompetency, I have nothing good to say about the players on the faction. Im sure there are a few, and I emphasis few, players who are worth little more then a pinch of pig ****, but as a whole, 98.5% of the NC are total scrubs. ....partly why I ended up quitting this game entirely. Shoddy Hit Detect+****** playerbase+cont locking+lag+only 300v300 lag fest battles=me quit lol..... I liked the NC as a faction, their punchy, kinda accurate weapons.....but the players.........yikes.... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> About the only time I found the EM1 useful was when guys were not aiming at me and were standing there long enough to let me kill them. The EM1's TTK is measured in light years. Almost everytime I either didnt put all 20 of my rounds in their head, or they fired back, I lost.....its a terrible gun overall. Its good up until someone fires back with a harder hitting or faster firing gun, and well, thats 90% of the guns in this game. Ofc, when hit detect worked, the gun seemed alot better....but overall.....I loved my EM6 alot more. It pulled me through more tough situations then any other gun I had used.....Gauss SAw was a real winner to. But EM6...<3
i quit the game for over a year, when i came back i was utterly HORRIBLE at this game, i'd remembered how much fun it was using SAW or EM6 to mow down enemies in a choke point, but i couldn't handle the recoil, tried my old EM1...no recoil, hazzah! granted i don't use it now, but it has its place as a low recoil new player weapon, IMHO it should be the starting NC heavy gun. TL;DR its a newbie friendly weapon with incredibly low recoil.
I quite like the EM1, I don't have anything except a Sight certed for it, but when I get Extend Mag and SPA, this gun could deal some serious damage.
