    Lamia sighed as well as she followed behind Lazera reluctantly, crossing her arms as she went up the ramps. The woman yawned softly and slipped off her earrings, stuffing them into her pocket carefully without pricking her finger. She looked at her surroundings. Her eyes soaking in the colours and plants and such.

    Ssulvex hesitated to respond, not exactly expecting the Ratonga to say she'd keep an eye on him. Oh.. Damn.. 'I was not expecting her to both fall for it, and respond like that.. Not sure what to do..' he murmured softly to himself, making sure no one else would hear.

    "Y-Yessss ma'am.. U-Undersssstood.." he said politely, his werewolven tongue still retaining that characteristic Iksar hiss. The boy twitched his tail. He shifted back to his Iksar form and picked up the stuffed panda again. He then hugged the panda and sighed.

    Rak'Khashan blinked and grunted as the child was snatched from his grasp. He growled in annoyance, but gasped and started hacking and coughing. His clawed hands reached around his neck to attempt to pull the Ratonga off around his throat. "Let me go you filthy dirtcrawler!" he spat in anger, coughing several times.

    Shiasia cradled her son against her chest and slinked down into a corner, comforting Nazsuss the best she could. The girl was frightened out of her wits, shaking violently as she whimpered in fear. Her son snuggled up against her breast, almost as if trying to comfort her with his warmth. He pawed around a bit until he found his mother's hand and then squeezed as hard as his little hands would let him.

    The young mother was greatly calmed down by this and she started breathing more evenly, but she was still looking panicked despite that. She snuggled her son and kissed his cheek.

    Stinsmia smiled back and nodded shyly. She was still covered in charred rags, so she was grateful to finally have something to fully cover herself. At this point right now though, how much of her body showed, left little to the imagination.

    She hid behind her mother again, still apprehensive of even Fae. She quite literally didn't trust anyone but her mother and father. "T-Thank you, m-miss Mizria.." she stuttered

    Vhyrenia sighed and filled out the rest of the paper work, along with her husband doing the same for his copies. "Hm.. Which would you prefer we adopt.. Boy, or..?" Vhyrenia asked the Freeblood slowly. The Freeblood didn't need much time to reply, as he finished the Kerra's sentence with a firm "Girl.". That decided it.

    Vhyrenia then got an idea. That Kerra girl she saw earlier.. Oh, what was her name? She thought she overheard it a while ago. "Ziqua..!" she exclaimed softly.

    "What?"

    "Ziqua. She's the Kerra girl we saw just earlier! Before you ask, I overheard her name a while ago. Maybe we could adopt her..!" she exclaimed, starting to purr quietly. It was possible Ross or Ziqua could have heard the couple's conversation from downstairs.

    Ross looked back at the paper. “Can you tell me about these pictures?” She pointed to the first one, the hammer.
    Nerry clung to Mordedana’s offered hand, but he kept his wide eyes on the gnome. “Br-Bristlebane’s b-belly. Y-You’re a m-monster!”

    Rothgut cried out and crumpled to the floor. The knives slipped from his paws and he clutched at his sides, feeling the sticky wetness spreading across him. He gasped for air.
    Bella screamed as her father fell, she went to move towards him, but felt Fayberry on her robes. Bella turned from the sight of her father and picked the girl up, now directing Cheddar to cast chains to hold the Coercer. Bella held Fayberry so that the girl’s back was to the room. “Is will be alrights.” She said, shakily.
    Aloysiius growled and tightened his hold on the Kerra’s neck as the chains began to materialize, hoping that the Coercer would pass out soon. “’Dirtcrawler’? That’s a new one. Doesn’t mean much coming from someone cowardly enough to attack a babe and its mother, though.”

    Llew was grateful to Brienae’s intervention as she felt Aleteriq’s body relax, having something other than height to think about. She glanced to the south and saw the Combine Spires slip in and out of view through the trees. She turned the griffon to head in that direction, but instead of following the path through the canyon and into Steamfont, she began to climb higher and higher above the towering cliffs and into the wild, un-mapped mountains.
    Alaric felt a knot in his chest as he caught a small glimpse of theEmeraldLaketo the east, as they climbed over the crest of the craggy hill. He was not old enough to remember Felwithe, though he had been born there, but he was old enough to remember the journey he and his parents took trying to get back to their ancestral home and the sting of betrayal as they were chased away and hunted by their own people. He remembered the chaotic rush of tumbling through water, the loss of breath and the darkness that followed. Rene cried out and Alaric turned in time to see his Griffon dodge around a thick tree. His wife gave him a worried look, but he pushed the thoughts of Felwithe from his mind and concentrated on the flight. He began to wonder how his daughter had come to know anyone who had lived in the wilderlands of Faydwer’s mountains.

    Padparadisch grabbed the pillow from under his head and held it against his ears. Part of his mind thought it strange that he usually covered his ears when the silence bothered him, but the sound of his own blood rushing through his body was enough to keep out the thoughts that silence brought.
    The Erudite woman said nothing as the song continued, since it was a fairly quiet one.

    Norna placed a hand gingerly at the spot. “Th-thank you.” She gasped out.
    Herrigan shuffled his feet like a child and sighed. “I suppose, I can forget to put them back on, but you will have to sit in the back still.”

    Ginnar and Nordri glanced at one another, deciding to leave the conversation to the brothers for the moment.

    Tigarr stood and approached the couple “No one is taking that kitten away from me! Not that blasted lizarrrd and not you! Ziqua is my niece and I'm not giving up custody to anyone let alone an Iksar orrrr a blood drinkerrr! Do I make myself clearrr madame!” he shouted at the Kerra woman.
    Ziqua nodded. “These weapons arrre all evil. This one she pointed to the hammer.” she frowned and then took the pencil again and added tusks to the ogre turning him into an orc. “He found it and now it's corrrupting him even morrre...” she swallowed “These arrre kind of confusing... I'm not surrre I underrrstood where they arrre.” she pointed to the claws “It's like they'rrre in time? Orrr hidden in time?” she pointed to the woman “She's trrrying to find them... but when she does she will be corrrupted. The otherrr two have not been found yet... they c-can't be used... anyone who trrries will be turrrned evil by them.” she swallowed and pointed to the Iksar knights “He's herrre in yourrr prision...” she said as pointed to the Iksar in black “That's Morrrdedana.... they'rrre twins.... but he doesn't feel herrr pain.... but she feels his...” she blinked back tears “If he dies...”
    Vonelix laughed “What are you talking about? I haven't done anything.”

    Colby turned his attention to the human monk “This doesn'ts concerns yous humans!”
    “Actually it does. You are choosing to fight in the tavern of a family friend. So it concerns me. He aimed a kick at the Ratonga.
    Colby stood stunned for several seconds as he was hit by a flurry of punches and kicks. He shook his head and raised his sword.
    Zach still managed another kick but his ankle slashed the sword.
    The door opened and Ethan stepped in “Must you always have fun without me?” he asked
    Zach sighed “I've got this, see to the old man!”
    Ethan raised an eyebrow. He looked behind his brother and saw the injured Ratonga. He dashed to Rothgut's side and used Mend “It's not much,” he said “Do we have any priests in the house?” he shouted.
    Faeberry relaxed a little in Bella's arms.
    ~~~~~
    Kyriu sighed as they continued to fly towards their destination.
    Senriala hugged her daughter's waist tighter as the wyvern had to turn sideways to fit between trees.
    Alyerra gasped “Mom...”
    The Tier'dal loosened her grip enough for her daughter to breathe.
    Tetriemmy did over hear the Iksar's words but she said nothing about it “The ramp over there will lead you back into Kelethin.” she said as she climbed onto Blizzard
    The white griffon took a short jog and lifted into the air.
    Kelauriel approached the Iksar “If you would like I can guide you.”
    Lazzera continued walking. She stopped to make sure Lamia was keeping up
    ~~~~~
    “You're welcome dear,” Mazsra answered. “That is fine,” the Iksar answered to Herrigan's words. She sat down obediently in the back of the cart.
    ~~~~
    Xia continued to play. The melody changed as it came to her.
    ~~~~
    “Oh you are quite welcome” Mizria said “Why don't you try it on?” she asked.
    “That is an excellent idea,” Relane answered.
    ~~~~~
    “I'm twice the kid's age...” Carl sighed “Really defines baby brother if you ask me...”
    Sam smiled.
    “You're only two years younger than me!” Carl snapped
    Sam shrugged.
    “How did our parents manage that?” Carl asked “I mean they weren't exactly young when we left”
    Tim swallowed “They um didn't. I don't remember either of them. Our mother died the day I was born and our father died a few months later.”
    Carl's eyes widened but then who raised you?”
    “Who do you think?” Tim answered.
    Sam swallowed and answered “Jake....”
    Tim nodded.
    Carl shook his head. “I was afraid you would say that...” his hand went to his chest again.
    “I can give you something for the pain.” Tim offered.
    “I guess that would be appreciated...” Carl answered “Do you have any fighting skills what so ever?”
    “I stopped training when I was ten.” Tim answered as he pulled out a vial and handed it to the man “We do have some food and drinks here” he said to the dwarves “If you would like anything, mind we don't have anything alcoholic....”
    ((Since it’s been an entire week already and you need a few more days, I’ll just go ahead and move the other scenes forward for now.))
    Ross chewed her lip as she listened, taking it all in. She did not like the sound of anything she heard.
    Nerry shook his head. “No, you’re-You told me you were helping! You told me I was helping! Is-is what you’ve done to her your idea of fun?” He finally climbed to his feet, grasping Mordedana’s hand. “You’re sick!” He spat at the gnome.
    Llew continued to guide Snowdrop through the craggy mountains, weaving in and out of trees. Everything looked a little different from the air, but she could still pick out the overgrown path below that her mother once showed her. The path dipped and rose with the ground and eventually meandered past a small pond cupped in the bowl of a shady vale. It was towards this that Llew finally led her griffon, landing on the edge of the water and sliding from its back. She reached up and helped Al down as the others began to find clear space for landings of their own.
    The pond was small and clear, the cool water lapping gently against the sandy loam. Around the vale grew trees, great and tall that cast violet shadows across the swaying grass, speckled with tiny yellow buttercups. Here and there patches of green clover grew amid wild jum jum and fayberry shrubs. The scent of all the flowers was heavy in the light breeze that found its way down into the vale. Llew took Aleteriq’s hand in hers as she took in the trees. Oak, elder, lilac and azalea. The small boy stared up, open mouthed to see the giant heavy blooms of lilac and azalea.
    Herrigan paused to give Norna a look, but she waved him off. “I’m fine now. Really.” The Lieutenant nodded and got back into the seat of the wagon, clicking his tongue at the horses and continuing down the highway.
    Padparadisch tossed the pillow aside as he heard a loud bell tolling on deck. Rainer got up from where he lay. “Looks like we’ve got ourselves a target!” The Feir’dal stood with the other men and filed out the door.
    In the Women’s quarters the Erudite called out to the other sleeping females. “Th’ Cap calls! All hands up on deck!”
    “I-I'm s-sorrry,” Ziqua stammered.
    Vonelix swallowed and then sighed “She's only a werewolf,”
    Telsi raised an eyebrow “And you're a priest?”
    Vonelix nodded.
    “And you are an idiot?” Telsi continued.
    “I am a genius!” Vonelix shouted.
    ~~~~
    Brienae landed next to jumjum bush and returned to her normal size.
    Samantha landed next to Snowdrop and Kyriu slid from her back.
    The Wyvern circled for a few minutes before landing in the pond with a large splash. Alyerra slid from the large creatures back.
    Senriala shook her head and slid off behind her daughter. “Are you sure Tetri will be able to find this place?” she asked as she stepped on the dry land.
    “Of course,” Kyriu answered “Blizzard flies fast.” she patted Samantha “If nothing else he'll be able to track down Samantha here.”
    Alyerra sighed as she joined the others on land. “So I guess now we wait for Tetri?”
    “She shouldn't be too much longer,”
    ~~~~
    Xia stopped playing as the bell sounded. She placed the instrument back in her bag and jumped from her bunk. Her green eyes shown with excitement.
    Ross looked up sharply. "You've nothing to be sorry for, child. I just have a lot to think about." She glanced out the tiny window, half covered by a stack of old reports.
    "Monster!" Nerry insisted at the Gnome. "Tell us what we can do to help fix her!"
    ***
    The three mages found landing space near the edge of the vale while the Bindweeds landed near Snowdrop and Samantha. "We can begin setting up the circles and wards while we wait." Llew said, beginning to take supplies out of her pack.
    "So, where is Ain'mur's friend?" Alaric asked, glancing around for a house or cave while the mages began to gather around Llew.
    The Ayr'dal began handing small bags of loam to them while Aleteriq clung to her sleeve, still looking up with wide eyes. "We'll need a large circle for this many. With focusing runes, wards against scrying and interference as well as at least three glyphs of Transference."
    "And the Focus?" Moonwrath asked, opening the bag to examine the quality of the loam.
    "We'll have to wait until Tetri gets here." Llew pointed to a tree. It was a lilac, a little bit apart from the main bulk of the forest. This particular tree was not large, and looked to be only a seedling when compared to the others around it, but true to its name the flowers that grew from the boughs were of a brighter hue than any other in sight. "Until then we can place the circle in front of Bloombright."
    Padparadisch was grateful for the excuse to leave the barracks and quickly fell into the line of men exiting and going back onto the deck. Rainer moved through the crowd to stay near the Teir'dal and stood on tip-toe as they walked to look for Xia.
    The Erudite grabbed a sword and sheath hanging from the end of her bunk and buckled it around her waist as she exited with the others.
    “Uncle Tygar always said it was my fault that bad things happened... when I told him what I saw...”
    “He's done enough,” Elena answered “He told me he would fix the curse. I don't trust him to fix his screw up.”
    The gnome stared from the halfling to the human. “Um well I...”
    “I want no more of his help... I'll be fine.... but I never want to see him again!”
    Telsi was watching Vonelix.
    The Gnome ignored the freeblood and sighed “The girl doesn't know what she's saying. I could fix it back at my lab.”
    Telsi vanished in a shadow. She reappeared behind the gnome, one knife against his neck. With her other hand she tossed something to Sylvie. “He was working on picking his cuffs,” she explained.
    ~~~~
    A group of cloaked figures materialized near the group. “Clearshadow!” a man's voice shouted “You had better have a good reason for removing your stealth from us!”
    A voice came from farther back “Er they have wards here against my people... I can't come any closer.”
    “Never mind,” the hooded man said “I'll deal with you later.”
    Alyerra seemed frozen.
    “You remember me don't you?” the leader said. He pointed a finger at Alyerra as he spoke.
    Senriala stepped forward to stand in front of the leading hooded figuring “You will not so much as point a finger at my daughter!”
    The leader laughed “Senriala Mihariel, I had heard you were still alive,” he removed his hood to reveal a dark-elf with blue hair. “Your daughter? I wish I had known that, it would have made her screams so much sweeter.” he smiled “Kill all the others, just our project...” he turned surveying the group “On second thought bring the boy too. There is something strange about it and I want to study it.”
    “Your magic won't work here Consilvus!” Senriala shouted.
    “Oh and why is that? It seems to be working fine.” the teir'dal answered “Come to think of it, wouldn't it be amusing if you were to die by your own daughter's hands or rather her teeth?”
    Alyerra fell to her knees.
    “Aly...”Kyriu dashed to her friend's side.
    The other four with Consilvus began to disperse.
    ~~~~
    Xia joined the group of women heading out. She was excited as any rookie might be. Her hands went to her daggers which were on each hip.
    Ross shook her head. "No. It isn't. What you see is a gift. Think about it. Now that I know about these items, I can make sure they are destroyed. We can use this information to keep Mordedana safe. You have done a good thing."
    Sylvie caught the item and examined it. She turned to Mordedana. "Does he tell the truth now? Is there something at his lab that can help her?"
    ***
    Llew pushed Aleteriq behind her and pulled her staff out. Danlore, The Bindweeds and the three other mages did the same, preparing spells. "Aleteriq, go towards the tree. Bloombright will keep you safe."
    But the boy stood frozen, clinging to his sister's robes with wide eyes.
    Charlemin and Pepin stepped between Alyerra and the newcomers, swords drawn.
    Padparadisch and Rainer came out on deck. The Teir'dal growled and shielded his eyes from the sun while Rainer caught sight of Xia and waved.
    Ziqua nodded. “That's what ms. Mazsrrra always said... that its a gift.”
    Maheera nuzzled her partner.
    “What happens to us?” Ziqua asked as she hugged Maheera “D-do we have to go home with Uncle Tygarr or can I we go home with Ms. Mazsrrra?”
    Mordedana sighed “Not entirely...”
    Vonelix swallowed against the blade and whispered “I need to experiment further to help her.”
    “That isss a lie.” Mordedana answered “You can conduct further experimentsss with your equipment but that won't help her and you know that.”
    Vonelix turned his head to look at Sylvie “You're listening to a lizard and a vampire.” he whispered. The blade at his neck made it difficult for him to speak “A vampire who appears to be unstable. Look at the Dark-Elf I think you'll find he lost too much blood.”
    Telsi's eyes shifted white for a moment but she managed to keep her focus on hold the gnome.
    ~~~~
    “You're out numbered,” Senriala hissed.
    Consilvus shrugged “Am I? Come now Senriala you remember how I work. You should also remember I don't need to point.”
    Senriala aimed a punch at the man.
    Consilvus caught her wrist and laughed “Someone was dumb enough to teach you how to fight. Not well enough, you're just in the way then again you always were.” he cast Hemorrhage on the tier'dal woman. He then threw her backwards.
    One of the assassins shadow stepped behind Alaric and slashed at his back. Another of the assassins appeared behind Moonwrath and attempted to stab her in the back. The third teleported behind Charlemin. Finally the fourth telported behind Brienae.
    Brienae formed reflective shields with her song. She turned unsheathing her sai in the same movement. She sang Piercing shill causing the assassin to step back as the solid sound hit her.
    Kyriu stood. She could see over Charlemin. She took a deep breath and Mantis Leaped to Consilvus. Her staff was out in a quick movement.
    Consilvus smiled as he dodged the whirling staff.
    “Kyriu don't give him a chance to study you!” Senriala shouted.
    “I've always been a quick study.” the tier-dal man answered as a figure appeared next to him exactly like Kyriu. The possessed Essence attacked the Monk and matched her strike for strike and block for block.
    Alyerra looked over at Alteriq. She stood trying to over come her fear. She tried to ignore the nagging feeling in her mind. The hungry thirst feeling was growing but she was determined to ignore it as long as she could. She played a song on her guitar. The notes settled on the weapons of Charlemin and Pepin giving their weapons sharper edges.
    ~~~~~
    Xia smiled back at Rainer. She scanned the deck trying to find the Captain assuming she would have orders.
    "She is right." Ross tapped her chin and looked over the paperwork on her desk. Norna had enchanted some paper for her to take down statements as she heard them and, while there had been some problems with the spells before, it seemed to have taken down everything just fine. She glanced over the different versions of the story and looked up at the little girl. "I believe that I have enough to proceed."
    Sylvie chewed her lip. She looked from Mordedana, to Vonelix, to Nerry, Elena and Telsi. Sylvie was a Paladin of Tunare and could not ask Mithaniel Marr to help her see the truth. "I-"
    ***
    Moonwrath stumbled, dropping the materials for the spells as she fell. Llew swung her staff at the one behind her Grandfather, but did not strike quick enough to save him. Alaric fell to his knees. Rene spun and released a fireball at the assassin.
    Aleteriq cowered even as Gliepnir materialized in front of him. "Aleteriq! Go to Bloombright!" She reached down and pried his hands from her robes. "Please, Al. You'll be safe." Aleteriq shook his head. Danlore grabbed the boy and began to make his way to the tree, the spirit wolf following.
    Charlemin watched Kyriu fight. "Pepin. Together." He muttered. The Squire nodded. At Charlemin's nod the two attacked Consilvus together, Charlemin going low, letting the human take the higher strike.
    Asphodelus gave a sharp whistle. The crew quieted down and looked up at where she stood on the quarter deck above them. "We got ourselves a prize 'ere today, mates!" She pointed with an eyeglass to the northern horizon. "Tha' there be th' 'Hatred's Vice'. Tha' ship there be one o' th' biggest suppliers o' slaves ter th' 'ouses o' Neriak! Git ter yer station an' if yer dun know wha' ter do, go fin' some'un who does! We'll catch up an' meet within' th' hour!"
    The crew resounded with an 'Aye, aye!' as they began to move towards their assignments.
    Ziqua swallowed. The Captain had not actually answered her question. She blinked as an idea struck her “Do we have to stay in jail?” she asked.
    Elena stood “If I could have a say. I don't care if further experiments will help at this point. I really don't. I never want to go back to his lab again. I'll figure out how to deal with the issues.”
    “Elena I just...” Vonelix began.
    “If you ever come near me again I'll bite you! Then you can experiment on yourself!”
    Vonelix paled.
    ~~~~
    The Dark-Elf Assassin who had struck Alaric turned as he was hit by the fireball. He charged towards Rene
    The Kerra who had struck Moonwrath decided to turn his attention on one of the other mages.
    The Assassin behind Charlemin struck as the Paladin ran forward. He cursed as he missed.
    Consilvus stepped back as he saw the Paladins come towards him. His possessed essence moved to guard him. The Essence took the damage from the attacks. With Kyriu's voice the essence spoke “Why?”
    The real Kyriu dropped her staff and charged the Assassin who was making a second attempt at Charlemin.
    Consilvus laughed. “How can you be sure which is your real friend?” he asked the paladins.
    Alyerra glanced again at Alterriq. She was concerned that his paralyzing fear was partially her own. She took a deep breath and vanished into the shadows.

    Xia caught up to the Erudite woman “Um where am I supposed go?” she asked.

    Ross straightened the papers before her. "Of course not. Children don't go to jail, they go to the orphanage or a foster home." She tapped the papers, gathering her thoughts. "I believe, Ziqua, that the best course of action for you is to go back into Ms. Mazra's care. While she did kidnap you, it seems that there were extenuating circumstances. So. I am officially removing you from the custody of your Aunt and Uncle and you will be placed in a safe home until Ms. Mazsra can lawfully take you into her care."
    "Perhaps there is someone else who can help, then?" Sylvie asked, uncertainly.
    ***
    Rene raised her staff and cast, causing a pool of ice to appear around her and under the assassin.
    Moonwrath struggled to climb to her feet while the second mage moved in, staff raised and the Solar Flare spell on his lips.
    Pepin hesitated at the essence, but Charlemin did not flinch to swing his sword. "Marr gives me the sight to pierce your paltry illusions!"
    Danlore managed to reach Bloombright without gaining the attention of the assassins. He knelt and put Aleteriq down. "Stay here with Gliepnir." He stood and turned, his staff held to fend off any threat to his brother. The boy slid down to huddle between the tree's roots.

    Rainer made his way through the crowd, dragging Padparadisch behind him. They arrived in time to hear the Erudite explain.
    The Erudite turned. "New, eh? If you're a healer, stay on deck and get to work once we start bringin' over the freed slaves or injured crewmen. If you're a ranged fighter stay back on the quarter deck and be careful where you aim your arrows and try to avoid fire spells until all the slaves and crewmen are back here." The woman slid a dagger from her pouch. "And if you don't mind gettin' your hands dirty, line up on the edge and get ready to hop over once we get within boardin' distance." She glanced around. "Now, you know not to hurt the slaves, of course, but if any of their crewmen ask for mercy, tie 'em up an' we put 'em in our brig. 'Cept th' Captain. The Captain always goes down with the ship and our Captain always takes care of that one." She pointed up to Asphodelus. "Captain's orders, if you can avoid killin', avoid it. She'll take care of it once we win."
    Padparadisch scoffed. "I was not expecting to hear that she gave any mercy to the slavers."
    Rainer shook his head. "It's because some of the lower ranked slavers were slaves themselves. They were forced into it, so she gives them a chance to turn back." Rainer rubbed his wrist.
    ((I'm working on building my twins, Llawisii and Llawanii a house and I'm trying to decide whether I want to get the Hua Mein or wait to see if they pick Oakmyst Forest for the good side from the poll. With the new tools for tilting things though, I should be getting back into housing, once I get a bit more time. I've been saving up elemental tokens and the Moonlight items for them for a while now so once I decide on a house for them, I shouldn't take too long to get it set up.
    Can't wait to see the Grove though. Good luck. :) ))

    “Oh,” Ziqua answered “Maheera goes too rrright?”.
    Maheera looked at the Captain expectantly “They're going to be hard pressed to take me away.” she told Ziqua as she nuzzled the kitten.
    “I think I just need to learn how to live with the changes.” Elena answered “Maybe train under another Fury.”
    Vonelix swallowed “Oh yes of course I guess that could work. As soon as I can start working at the Temple again....”
    “That won't be happening.” Priestess Anna said. “You used your powers to harm another. That is something we don't do and where you learned it is beyond me, but you will never be allowed into the Temple of Life again and before you ask we already sent word to the Temple of Growth not to accept you.”
    Vonelix's jaw dropped “But I...”
    Priestess Anna shook her head “We are healers, what you did was not healing so for the good of all you are banned from the temples.” she looked at Sylvie “I believe he has done enough, if you would like to take him back to his cell.” she smiled at Nerry “As for you sir you seem very kind heart-ed. I will speak to the Captain about your deeds.”
    “I could help him,” Vonelix said nodding towards the unconscious Tier-dal.
    “After what I've heard I don't trust you.” Telsi hissed. She turned to Sylvie “I'll release him when you're ready to take him back. I don't trust any of his actions.”

    The Dark-Elf Assassin had to take a moment to maintain his balance on the ice.
    The Kerra raised a bow and fired point blank at the mage casting Solar Flare.
    The essence let out a scream as Charlemin's sword struck.
    “Paltry Illusions!” Consilvus shouted “I don't create pretty lights and mere Illusions, I manipulate what is truth! Marr gives you sight? Is that a challenge?”
    The Assassin who had tried to attack Charlemin was now focused on an unarmed Kyriu.
    Kyriu winced as one of the blades sliced her arm. “You think you know me!” she shouted “I was trained by both of my parents in staff and fist. I am the protege` of Grandmaster Silzin Lightfoot!”
    The Assassin fighting her took a step back.
    “Fool! That may be true but I don't see him around.” Consilvus shouted as he attempted to cast Hemorrhage on Charlemin.
    Alyerra used her stealth to run behind the Coercer. She appeared as she let out a Scream of Death. Her eyes were red. Her body demanded that she feed.
    Consilvus swallowed as he began to look somewhat ill.
    “You should be careful what you wish for,” the Dirge hissed before biting into the Dark-Elf Coercer's shoulder.
    Consilvus' eyes went wide with shock as he felt the teeth. He smiled and laughed “Vampires so easy to manipulate. Now to just work on target selection...”
    A screech sounded from the air as Blizzard dove straight into the middle of the battle.
    Tetriemmy took a moment to survey the battlefield. She cast Thornskin on Charlemin causing thorns to form on his armor. She then cast Autumns Kiss in and attempt to heal those who had been injured.

    Xia nodded. She unsheathed her daggers "Alright then lead the way,"

    Lamia twitched her hand a few times as she glanced back very briefly at Ssulvex, giving a soft sigh of relief as they trailed farther and farther away from aforementioned Iksar. She was at least glad that they were getting away from a Necromancer, but she did feel a little bad for the boy..

    Ssulvex nodded to Tetriemmy and sighed, sounding as innocent as possible. ""Y-Yes Ma'am.. T-Thank you.." he said softly with a smile and nod of his head. He turned his head in direction of the fae Kelauriel and nodded slowly. "Y-Yes please guide me.. I-I don't know my way around this place very well.." he replied.

    He sniffed the air. He smelled magic, and spirit blooms. Not corrupted blooms.. Real, uncorrupted fae blooms. He turned his head in Kelauriel's direction and then asked softly. "Are you perhaps a fae? I smell a combination of spirit bloom and magic on you.." he stated rather blatantly.

    The Kerra hacked out a laugh, coughing a few times before speaking. "What? You seriously didn't expect me to go without dinner, now did you!?" he asked, implying he was planning on eating the Ratonga and her child. Very gruesome indeed. This caused Shiasia to shiver in disgust in fear. The Kerra coughed a few more times before he gave a last sigh, passing out as his eyes closed and collapsed. The chains formed completely and he was now rather trapped.

    Shiasia, still rather skittish, stood up and quietly walked away from her little corner, heading up the ramp with her son and quietly entering her room. She set her son down next to her as she began to sort through some mail she had gotten the other day, now wanting just some simple peace and quiet. Throwing away the junk, she found one letter and opened it, reading it quietly.

    Kryvikki on the other hand, sighed in relief as his daughter's attacker passed out. He shifted out of his stance, and calmly began to walk over to Rothgut. He knelt down beside the man and began to use Mend as well. "Calm your breathing. You need not waste your energy on shallow breaths. Try to retain as much energy as you can.." he said very calmly, having dealt with this kind of thing before.

    Stinsmia almost instantly froze in fear. Almost petrified. She didn't particularly like the idea of having to change clothes in front of someone. Even if it was her mother and her friend. She nodded hesitantly, and suddenly scurried into a different room, quickly changing her clothes and throwing away the burnt rags into the waste-basket nearby. She didn't want the two seeing her tens, maybe hundreds of scars that riddled her body.

    She scurried back out to her mother rather quietly and blushed, looking away shyly. "U-Uhm.. W-What do you two think..? D-Do you like it?" she asked shyly.

    Vhyrenia quirked her brow at Tigarr. "You make yourself as clear as a filthy bog, good sir." she retorted. Then she sneered at him. "I do find it interesting though.. How you have no problem insulting us.. And yet you don't mind insulting your own family and name by abusing a poor child." she retorted.

    "Also.. My husband doesn't drink the blood of sapients. Only animals. Add that to the fact that we're developing a blood substitute, and he won't be a blood drinker for much longer, relatively speaking. So therefore, calling my husband a blood drinker, will soon be a moot point."

    She stood up with perked ears, and called up to the second floor where Ross and Ziqua were. "If you are looking for someone to hand custody over Ziqua to, me and my husband Vaska both are interested in applying for custody. Please let us know about further details if you wouldn't mind!"

    "Of course she does." Ross moved a couple of stacks of papers from the window and stood on her toes to peek out. She squinted as Herrigan and the wagon came through the gates of Qeynos. She dropped back down from the window and tapped her foot. "I'll need to fill out paperwork for Ms. Maszra's release and the apprehension of your Aunt and Uncle." She frowned, hearing yelling downstairs, but not able to pick out the words through the thick door.
    Sylvie nodded to Telsi. She reached down and undid Nerry's shackles. "I'll explain to Ross." She turned to the Gnome now. "You're going back to the cells."

    Rothgut felt the pain lessen a bit as Ethan's healing began to take effect. The old Ratonga turned to look behind him, still gasping for breath. "Oh, yes. I's is...choosings tos...tos takes shallow br...breaths with a holes...in my's lungs."
    Bella, still clinging to Fayberry, made her way over to her father. "Tries nots to speaks." She told her father. She looked from him to Colby angrily, but could do little with the girl still in her arms. Rothgut looked up at Bella and nodded.
    Aloysiius waited a moment before letting the Kerra's limp body slip from the choke hold.

    Rene, as the caster, was immune to the ice's effects and stepped back from the assassin as she cast another fireball. Llew moved in to help her Grandmother, casting an ultraviolet beam as she sent Esorn to stand with her brothers.
    Moonwrath cried out as the other Mage fell to the arrow, his spell failing as his life left him. Her eyes burned with fury as she summoned fire beneath the Kerra. She felt the healing spell take effect, too late for her colleague. She climbed to her feet and held her staff out.
    Charlemin's sword began to glow. "You cannot shake my faith in the Truthbringer." He pulled his shield from his back, negating part of the spell, but he winced as his head began to ache. Pepin began to sidle around the Coercer, not wanting to strike while Alyerra was so near.

    Herrigan was glad to see the Guardhouse beyond the great claymore. He led the horses back to the Guardhouse yard and handed the reins to the Squire who had been assigned stable duty while he went to the back to let the sarnak out.

    The Erudite woman nodded. "Fighters this way." She made her way to the starboard side of the ship. Rainer and Padparadisch followed. "I am called Kal, by the way."
    "I am Padparadisch Patadasch." The Teir'dal took a small hand drum from his belt.
    Asphodelus watched the other ship closely while her navigator maneuvered the ship in. The Lurln'ley's reputation had already gotten many of the other ship on deck, like her crew, preparing for a fight.

    Ginnar shook his head. "Ay'll drink tea, in a pinch."
    Nordri chuckled. "Jus' wa'er fer me, if'n yer dun' mind."

    Ziqua nodded “Okay,”
    Maheera's ears perked “Someone else wants to adopt you.” she told Ziqua “Ms Mazsra will be perfect for us. She understands. Perhaps that family could help someone else.”
    Ziqua looked at the captain “Maheera says she understood what was going on downstairs. She says anotherrr family wants to adopt us, but I want to stay with Ms. Mazsra. Perrrhaps they would make good parrrrents to anotherrr child in need though.”
    “She is still not eligible for adoption because she is not an orrrphan! I don't carrre what you think. Besides she's no ordinary child! You think I'm going to let anyone else have the forrrtune that Kitten could brrring!”
    Telsi released her blade from the Gnome's neck. She leaned down and whispered in Vonelix's ear “If you give her any trouble, I won't hesitate to drink you dry.”
    Vonelix's face paled at the Freeblood's words. “C-can she do that?” he squeaked.

    Calarys looked down at her sons “Yous boys stays heres,” she instructed. She dashed over to Bella and carefully took Fayberry out of her arms
    Fayberry gladly reached out her arms to her mother.
    “Calarys glared at Colby “Gets outs of mys sights! I's nevers wants to sees yous agains! I'ms ashameds of yous! You's attacks an elders! You's puts your's owns pinkies in dangers!”
    “Shes shoulds have dieds a longs times agos!” Colby shouted pointing at Fayberry.
    “How dares yous! She's your's daughters!” Calarys shouted.
    Colby sneered “Come ons Limby.
    The young Ratonga looked between his parents.
    “Limby comes withs mes and yous wills bes a powerful Shadowknights just likes I ams.”
    Limberger smiled and went back to his father's side. The two headed outside.
    Zach looked around “Ethan stay here, I'll go to the Temple of Growth and...”
    “No way!” Ethan responded “I run faster than you!”
    Fayberry looked up from her mother's shoulder and pointed to Aloysious “He's fasters thans boths of yous.” she said.
    Calarys looked at her daughter “Hows cans yous knows thats?”
    “The Rhythms arounds hims.” the tiny girl answered as though it were obvious.

    "What are you blind!" Kelauriel responded "Of course I'm a Fae." she examined the werewolf more closely and swallowed "Oh you are blind... I am so sorry... I didn't mean any offense..."
    ~~~~
    Consilvus laughed “Yes... that could prove to be more of challenge but what of your allies? Are they so strong?”
    Tetriemmy swallowed as she looked at the Coercer. It pained her to see Alyerra actively feeding on a person even if it seemed to be an enemy. “Forgive me Cub...” she whispered “But you give me no choice.
    Kyriu managed to knock the assassin she had been fighting unconscious. She saw the lightning form in the Ratonga Fury's paw. “Tetri no!” she shouted too late.
    Both Dark-Elf and Freeblood stumbled as the Lightning struck.
    Alyerra released her her grip as the shock hit her. She stepped back and seemed to suddenly realize what she had been doing. “I'm sorry,” she whispered to no one in particular. Her red eyes marked that she was still struggling with her need to feed.
    “You can't fight what you are!” Consilvus shouted.
    The Kerra fell backwards as he was hit with the Fireball. He dropped his bow as it was engulfed in flame. He withdrew his swords and vanished.
    Senriala ran over to her daughter. “Alyerra look at me,”
    “You're wasting your breath Senriala!” Consilvus shouted.
    “Xiaminara Crimsonsong,” Xia said as she followed after the Erudite “But my friends call me Xia.” she smiled exposing her fangs again. She sheathed her daggers and pulled out a Lyre instead.
    Relane smiled “It looks very lovely,” she said.
    “Oh yes it looks exquisite,” Mizria added “Doesn't it look exquisite Nesria?”
    The Persone Reflection made no sound.
    “Nesria you are being so rude!” Mizria shouted.
    Tim nodded “I'll be right back Um any preference on what kind of tea?” he asked “I've been experimenting with different formulas.”
    Lamia stayed silent mostly..
    Ssulvex's tail twitched in great annoyance as the Fae shouted at him. "Gee.. You pointed out the obvious. What a profound finding!" he responded in bitter sarcasm, his lips parting in a sneer as he hissed angrily. He crossed his arms and continued to follow behind the Fae silently.
    "I sssswear.. People don't think about what comesss out of their mouth until it'ssss too late.." he grumbled.
    Shiasia sighed and put the letter down after throwing away a few old things. She started to look through her backpack, searching. Halfway through searching, a look of confusion entered her face as she forgot what she was looking for. She shook her head and tossed the leather sack to the side.
    The girl picked up her son, put her backpack on her back, and then headed downstairs, and then out the door quietly. She took a brief, passing glance towards Colby when she saw him outside as well, merely wondering why he seemed so upset. Being upstairs earlier, she had been distracted, and hadn't exactly heard what had happened downstairs. She gave him a questioning look, again, curious about his anger, but then slowly started to make her way to a nearby bank.
    Kryvikki looked towards his daughter briefly before she left the building, still worried about her, but turned his attention back to Rothgut, ignoring the sarcastic remark. He shook his head.
    +++++++++++++++++++++++
    Stinsmia smiled shyly and nodded. "T-Thanks mama and Mizria.." the girl murmured. She quietly shuffled over to her mother and clutched the Freeblood's hand, tail twitching slowly.
    +++++++++++++++++++++++
    Vhyrenia sneered at Tygarr and growled in disgust. She opened her mouth to respond with a threat, but Vaska gently put his hand over her mouth and pulled her away. "That's enough , kitten.." he said to her hastily. "We don't need to waste time on such distasteful filth.. He's wasted enough of our time as it is.. We needn't worry." he said in Kerran. The female Kerra's tail twitched slowly.
    She was tempted to bite her husband's hand as she had been quite upsetted by the male Kerra.. But her anger subsided quickly and was replaced by purring as she sighed. "Yes of course dear.." she murmured. The Freeblood nodded slowly in approval and brought her to sit down again. Apparently the Freeblood was using a bit of.. magic.. to subside her anger.
    Outside of the guardhouse, the entrance to Qeynos had just opened to let another Kerra inside. The young woman looked quite dazed and confused. Interestingly enough, there had been "Missing!" notices plastered all over the city with sketches of this woman, with dates that informed others that she had been missing for at least 5 years now.
    "I don't remember who I am.." the woman whispered softly. Her eyes were red, both with tiredness, and well.. an experiment on her that had been a.. success. The Kerra walked over to one of these notices and looked at the sketch in curiousity. Having lost her memory, she had no idea who she was seeing in the poster.
    She looked around. Still dazed, she decided to sit down on one of the benches nearby, pulling out a small book and starting to read it quietly. If one were to look at her, and then the poster, they'd realize there would now be no need for 'Missing!' posters. The missing woman was right there. To be harassed by people though was the last thing the young lady wanted. She wanted some quiet and wanted to think.
