    ( Bah, adding a scene I forgot, and editing some of mine inputs:)
    Lamia sighed and quirked her brow. "Uhm.. Did I do something wrong to you? Grumpy, she yawned. She never did get any sleep the past few days, and it was starting to get to her. She just knew that, at some point, she would collapse in sleep and snore.

    She looked over to her left and saw a short Iksar stooped over a corpse, him holding a dagger. He was not too far off. Maybe 20 feet. The dagger was small certainly, but she recognized the familiar gleam of metal it had. She frowned lightly. That looked very suspicious.

    "Uhm.. Anyone know who that is over there? Or what he's doing?" she asked seemingly no-one, pointing at the Iksar. Ssulvex let out a hiss and his head turned up briefly. Then he looked back down and started looting the corpse that he had found. He pulled a small bag of coins.. A small tome.. He frowned slightly. Well, he couldn't use the tomb that easily.. But perhaps he could erase the markings in it to make a spellbook..

    He made sure to rake the blade in his hand across the corpse's stomach slowly to make sure it was dead. No sound. Ssulvex then stood up and started walking away very slowly, letting out an occasional hiss.

    The coercer took off his hood, revealing he was Kerran. His fur was black with white splotches, both of his eyes teal. He had multiple piercings in his ears and on his forehead. His hands continue to wave around, however it stopped and he blinked, growling as he stumbled.

    The bright colours of the Bewilderment spell really distracted him. He was lucky in the sense, that his stumbling caused him to fall and dodge the knife. He suddenly cast Hemorrhage on Shiasia, not caring that if she died, Nazsuss would be an orphan.

    He also dispelled his charm on her and he held up his hands, though he kept the hemorrhage going on her. The Ratonga's body swayed and her nose began to bleed quite a bit. Her eyes dulled slightly as she stumbled towards her son, picking him up and leaning against the wall, muttering seemingly gibberish. "There.. I let the mangy, flea-ridden rat go. Happy?" he stated, seeming to distastefully insult all Ratonga with just three words.

    "Careful or else little miss Ratty here might get more than just a hemorrhage.." he threatened. He then glanced at Colby and nodded, dispelling his charm and starting to cast his most powerful charm on Calarys. Shiasia suddenly woke from her seeming trance and she looked around, bewildered as her son started crying.

    "W-Woah! W-What's g-g-going on?!" she stuttered, her voice and body shaky because of mental damage.

    Stinsmia heard her mother speak and she smiled and nodded. Her tail began to twitch excitedly, but suddenly it drooped and she trembled. What if this person that was coming wasn't nice? Could she trust this Mizria person? Would this Mizria try anything bad?

    "U-Uhm.. I-I'm n-n-not too.. k-keen on meeting new p-p-people.." she stuttered shyly, letting out a soft whimper

    Ross handed Maheera to Ziqua and stood. She took a pitcher of water from a side table covered in reports and updates from patrols. She poured some into a glass and offered it to the girl. “It’s just water. Drink it slowly. It’ll make you feel better.”
    Nerry finished the spell and stepped back. “Uh…that should do it, I guess.”
    Sylvie gave him a withering glare. “You guess?”
    The Halfling nodded. “Well, I’m more adept to the actual illusions than the other stuff. I’ve never found a prank where I needed this spell before so I’m a bit rusty.”
    ***
    Aloysiius took his harp out and began to play and song to strengthen Bellacouste’s spells.
    A guttural growl tore from Bella’s throat. Without words she summoned and sent Cheddar across the room where the Personae Reflection began to cast Ultraviolet Beam at the Kerra. Still without her wand, she weaved her hands and angrily cast her own Beam at the same target.
    ***
    Toska nodded. “Sorries. I’s wills tries to remembers thats.”
    Llew glanced atLamiaand shook her head. “No.” She said firmly. “She cannot come with us. Her mind is much too unstable and she is too unpredictable to be near this sort of delicate spellwork.” Llew turned her head and whistled. A white griffon landed near the other mounts. She turned back again to Kelauriel. “I do not know who you are or why you seem to know what we are doing. I must confess that I find it rather suspicious to find so many pop up with knowledge that we only just recently decided upon in the last hour.” Like Kyriu, Llew was eager to go as soon as possible and with few distractions.
    Alaric and Rene both whistled and two more griffons, plain brown, landed. Charlemin unfolded a pair of blue canvas mechanical wings and began to put them on.
    ***
    Rainer frowned, unsure of Xia’s sudden change in attitude. Padparadisch rolled his eyes, seeing what had happened. “Go eat.” He nodded to the stairs going down. “I’m going to go lay down.”
    Rainer scratched his head, looking from Padparadisch’s retreating back to Xia. “Did I say something?” He asked in a low voice.
    ***
    Herrigan nodded. “Aye! I know how you feel!” He laughed. “Grayhaze, how about you? Getting too old for this yet?” He looked over but his grin soon faded as red began to spread across Norna’s side. He swore and pulled the wagon to one side of the road, laying Norna across the driver’s seat to get a look at the wound.
    ***
    Ginnar squinted into the open mouth. He held his palms on either side of the man’s face, not touching, but close to the skin of the cheeks. Behind him Nordri held up the fetish and began to chant. Ginnar’s voice joined in and his hands and the fetish began to glow brightly.

    ((Sorry it took me so long to post y'all. I've been really sick most of the week. I was barely able to log in. Feeling better now but not quite 100%. Honestly I've been asleep most of the time))

    Ziqua accepted the water and let Maheera down. “Th-thank you,” the kitten said. She sat down and sipped the water quietly.
    “Should be okay.” Vonhelix said as he noticed the werewolf relax under the spell “How many times has she transformed?” he asked.
    “I'm not sure,” Priestess Anna “I think twice today.”
    “Amazing!” the gnome exclaimed
    The Priestess shot him a look.
    “I mean... um from a scientific standpoint it's fascinating.” Vonhelix corrected himself.
    “From a priests standpoint what can you do?”
    “Um uh... well I could maybe heal her if my hands were free.”
    Mordedana quirked an eyebrow “That isss only partialy true. You are planning sssomething.”
    The Gnome laughed “Who are you going to believe me or this lizard?” he demanded.
    ~~~~
    Calarys shook her head trying to fight the spell being cast on her. Her eyes began to cloud over.
    “Momma?” one of the boys questioned
    Calarys was able to snap herself at her son's pleas. She glared at her husband. “How dares yous!” she screamed.
    Colby raised his sword which glowed black. He dashed towards Rothgut with the glowing blade raised. “You's puts these ideas in hers heads”
    ~~~~
    Tetrimmy walked over “I have an idea how they know so much.” she glanced at Lazera “Cub you're showing off again.” she sighed “This is Lazera, she's a Windreader.”
    Kyriu blinked “But I thought Balira Windfoot was the only Windreader.”
    Lazera nodded “She was but when she died Nature chose someone else. And I was not showing off. I just thought we could help.”
    The Ratonga Fury shook her head “Lazera, you're heart is in the right Cub, but this is beyond your studies and you know that.”
    The Freeblood Warden blinked “It's beyond my studies? You're taking a squire and a monk protege` with no current mentor!”
    “Cub that is none of your concern. You have a gift, but right now we have enough help for this. Now go back to my groves, take Lamia with you and we'll discuss how you became unnatural later.”
    Lazera swallowed “You noticed?”
    “I think that's obvious,” Kelauriel giggled.
    Brienae fluttered forward “Kelauriel this is not a game,”
    “Isn't everything?” the other Fae asked.
    Brienae sighed “No there are things that are very serious. For this instance you have no idea what you are getting into.”
    “So how am I supposed to learn if no lets me join them?” Kelauriel demanded.
    “There will be other times.” Brienae answered.
    “Fine,” the Fae Beastlord answered with a huff. “I suppose you're going to want me to keep my mouth shut.”
    “Yes,” Brienae answered.
    “As you wish my Lady.” With that Kelauriel turned and glided away.
    “Sorry Lamia,” Lazera said “Maybe there is something else you can do to make things right.”
    ~~~~~
    Xia nodded and turned and headed downstairs. She managed to catch a rat very quickly.
    ~~~~
    “I can help if you unbind my hands,” Mazra said from the wagon. “I am a mystic after all. I promise I won't run,”
    ~~~~~
    “It'll be alright,” Relane promised as there was a knock on the door. She walked over and opened it.
    Mizria glided in “We came as soon as we got your letter. Where is the poor dear?” A pony trotted behind her loaded with various colors and types of fabric.
    Her personae reflection Nezria stood motionless.
    Mizria glided over to the Ratonga “Any ideas for style?” she asked “Oh how rude of me I'm Mizria and this is my twin sister Nezria,” she pointed to her personae reflection.
    ~~~~~

    Sam didn't move. His eyes were closed in prayer.
    Tim and Carl watched.
    Tim was fascinated as Sam's mouth began to glow.

    Lamia was rather offended that she was considered too unstable, mind-wise now. Of course considering her little personality issue.. It was indeed terribly true. Not like she could help it. She sighed depressingly and followed after Lazera. She felt rather dejected.

    "Gee thanks.." she muttered, a gloomy scowl wrinkling her face. Her tail twitched. "I think I'll try and dye my fur.." she said as a random thought. She looked over at the Iksar and frowned. He looked to be about her age. The Iksar had dispelled the skeleton long ago.. But the bones were still nearby.

    Ssulvex sighed. He started walking over towards seemingly nowhere. He turned around and called out (towards the crowd at the Druid Rings) in question, "Does anyone nearby know which way the nearesssst acorn lift issss? I sssseen to be a bit losssst.." he hissed softly.

    Now were one to look in his direction, they would see the blindfold, which would lead them to believe that was his blindness being reasoning for being lost.

    ++++++++++++++++++

    Rak'Khashan growled and cried out in pain, his body lurching forward as the duo of Ultraviolet Beams struck his body, burning parts of his robes a charred black. He let out a cat-hiss and shook his head. "Oh how such filthy rats could hold such power.. I'm impressed. Didn't think there was so much.. intelligence among you." he said with a laugh.

    He started waving his hands around, panting and letting out an occasional grunt as he did his best to ignore his pain. He began casting on Shiasia once more. His charm. Shiasia once again clutched the knife tightly and charged for Colby, letting out an almost inhumane screech.

    Her son was picked up by the Kerra once more. Kryvikki slid into a mantis pose and ran towards Rak'Khashan, leaping up and attempting to land on the man. "You will not take my daughter away from me, you demon!" he scowled angrily.

    Stinsmia hid behind her mother on pure instinct, shivering a bit. She smiled weakly and just barely as it seemed Mizria was at least friendly.

    "N-Nice to meet you M-Mizria and N-Nesria.. I-I-I'm Stinsmia.." she stuttered in the most friendly way she could.

    Vhyrenia perked her ears. She seemed to have heard something from upstairs. A conversation. She turned around for a moment and spoke a little loud. "Hm? Did someone say something to me?" she asked curiously, somewhat confused. She shook her head. Her husband walked into the guard house and wrapped his arms around her, nuzzling into her neck.

    "What're you doing, dear?" he asked, nuzzling her. Vhyrenia sighed almost depressingly in response. She looked back at him with a frown. "Well to be honest, I'm looking to see if there might be advertisements about children needing adoption, but frankly I can't ever seem to find any! You think we should give up the search?" she asked. Surely anyone could hear the conversation.

    "No, no, no, honey.. Don't give up. It'll happen eventually.. We just have to be patient.." Vaska said, kissing her cheek. He hugged her gently and sighed as well.

    (( Sorry for the delay :S Let's just say you shouldn't use milk in cookie recipes even if it's just 1 day past the expire date. And it tasted perfectly fine, I swear! ))

    Ross picked up her chair and set it right, sitting down and thinking quietly while Ziqua drank. She tried to think back to her childhood when one of her sisters would have nightmares. She wondered if she could coax the vision from Ziqua the same way.
    Sylvie shook her head. “What did I tell you about trying anything?”
    ***
    Rothgut grabbed the first thing within reach, a wooden serving tray and began to use it like a shield. “You’s is wrongs! I’s puts nothings in her’s heads!”
    Bella growled at being called a ‘filthy rat’ again, but said nothing as she pressed the attack with Cheddar, following the Ultraviolet Beam with a Chromatic Shower.
    Aloysiius picked up the song again, giving the clash of battle an undertone of an inspiring ballad.
    ***
    Llew took a deep breath before giving the order. “Mount up!” Still holding Aleteriq in her arms she climbed into the saddle on Snowdrop’s back. The white griffon pawed at the ground as Llew made sure that Aleteriq was seated correctly between her and the pommel.
    Alaric and Rene climbed onto the backs of their griffons while Charlemin stretched the canvas wings experimentally but then glanced at Pepin and Toska, remembering the plan. He summoned a griffon and a white Pegasus for them. The squire helped Toska climb into Roland’s saddle before gulping and climbing into Veillantif’s himself. Moonwrath and the other mages weaved their hands and summoned arcane clouds at their feet.
    ***
    Rainer sighed and leaned against the wall at the top of the stairs, running the conversation through his head, but not seeing what he said wrong.
    Padparadisch found the men’s bunkroom and slipped his knapsack from his shoulders and onto one of the empty beds. He put the bag between himself and the wall and tried to sleep.
    ***
    Herrigan looked from Norna to the Mystic. He glanced down the road, glad to see that the highwaymen were not following at least. “Alright.” The Barbarian fumbled to take the key from the ring on his belt.
    ***
    The two brothers finished the prayers and the glow began to fade from hand and fetish. Ginnar took a deep breath and looked into Sam’s mouth again. “Say ‘ahh’, laddie.”

    Ziqua sat quietly her vision had two parts to it both of which terrified the girl, but she knew they were important. “D-do you have s-something I-I could d-draw on?” she asked.
    Vonelix scowled “Do you really believe this Lizard over me?”
    Telsi looked up “We called her the Iksar lie detector back in Neriak. She has the ability to tell if someone is lying. I would imagine with her new faith in the Truthbringer...”
    Mordedana blushed.
    “Er well... um... they could be in league... I mean a Dark-Elf defending an Iksar... sounds convenient.”
    Telsi hissed baring her fangs “I once was a Dark-Elf, but not any more. Regardless. I'm entitled to a new life as much as anyone else.”
    Vonelix scoffed “Strange choice of words for a vampire but fine... I suspect that Elena's body has changed too often and it is possible that some of her organs have suffered damage....”
    Mordedana sighed “Unfortunately with that he isss being truthful.”
    Priestess Anna glared at the Gnome.
    Vonelix swallowed “It wasn't intended... of course experiments can have unforeseen variables...”
    ~~~~~
    “Lies!” Colby shouted as his black sword struck the wooden tray “Yous broughts thats exiles intos mys house!”
    “Daddy stops!” Fayberry shouted.
    Seeing that the Illusionist seemed to have the coercer under control Canty drew two daggers and dashed over to Rothgut. She tossed one of the daggers to the older Ratonga “This is wrongs Uncle Colby!”
    ~~~
    Kyriu headed towards the white griffon.
    “Cub I think you should take Samantha.” Tetri said as she spoke she pointed to the black and white griffon.”
    Kyriu sighed as she mounted the calmer black and white griffon
    Lazzera sighed “This way I guess.” she saw the Iksar and the breeze that blew around him “Um Tetri...”
    “What is it now Cub!” the Ratonga Fury demanded.
    The Freeblood Warden swallowed “There's a necromancer asking for the nearest lift...”
    “I'll meet you there.” Tetriemmy said to Llew “This should not take long.” The Ratonga dashed over to the Iksar “What business does a Necromancer have in Kelethin?”
    Alyerra sighed as she climbed onto the Wyvern. She leaned down to help her mother up behind her.
    Lazzera glanced at Lamia “Come on maybe we can help with this!” she said nodding in the direction of the Iksar.
    ~~~
    Xia felt some what better after ingesting some real blood. She made her way to the women's barracks and deposited her stuff. Maybe the detail had just slipped his mind and he had meant no offense. At least the potion to ward off sea sickness was working.
    ~~~~
    “Oh it is a pleasure to meet you.” Mizria continued “Isn't Nezria?”
    Nezria stood motionless and silent.
    “Nezria you are so rude sometimes.” Mizria snapped “Now my dear would you prefer something long or short?”
    ~~~~
    Sam coughed as the spell finished.
    “Did it work?” Carl asked “If it worked I'll never hear the end of it... he talked a lot.”
    Sam smiled and instead of saying aah he stuck his tongue out at his brother. He began signing which Tim translated.
    “He says thank you, I will have to learn how to speak again, but thanks to you, now I can learn again.”
    Sam stood up and bowed to the two dwarves.”
    Lamia looked over at Lazera. She wordlessly gritted her teeth. She didn't want to get close to Necromancy ever again. Though seeing as how Lazera was particularly insistent, she reluctantly followed. "I told myself I'd never associate with Necromancy again.." she muttered.
    She followed behind the Freeblood silently, aiming to keep a good distance between herself and he Necromancer. Though in her honest oppinion, the Iksar seemed innocent enough. Maybe this was all a mistake? As the trio walked over closer to the Iksar, she heard something. It sounded like crying.
    The Iksar feigned crying, forcing tears to roll down his scaly cheeks. He manipulated his voice just barely to make him sound younger. And with his appearance to add with that, it just might convince them that he was just an "innocent child". He let out a whimper.
    "I-I don't know what you're talking about, w-whoever you are.." he stuttered. He was going to use his blindness as an excuse. "I-I'm lost and I-I'm trying to find my way back home. Y-You see me and my mama, w-we live in an old house that was built in the Thunderring Steppes." he explained, one of his claws coming up to wipe the tears away.
    "I-I just want to go home.. B-But I can't see, so how am I going to do that?" he whimpered.
    +++++++++++++++++++++++
    The Kerra growled angrily and stumbled, dazzled and dazed by the Ultraviolet Beam and Chromatic Shower. He rubbed his forehead, sighing as his head began to pound. His grip on Nazsuss was tight, so the baby didn't fall out of his arms. The man
    gave an evil grin. Waving his hand, he gestured for Shiasia to come over to him.
    The Ratonga's assault instantly halted, and she dropped the knife. She walked over to the Kerra and blinked. Behind her back, her fingers were crossed, and she made sure all other people (besides the Kerra) would see that. That was an indication that she was faking being charmed.
    "Yes of course Master. I'll wait outside.." she said "obediently", heading out the door amidst the chaos, her fingers still crossed. Then she closed the door and waited outside for the commotion to stop.
    +++++++++++++++++++++++
    Stinsmia smiled and nodded at both Mizria and Nesria. The Ratonga eventually relaxed and came out from behind Relane. "U-Uhm.. Something long please.. I want t-to look m-modest e-enough to be able to go out in p-p-public." she explained.
    +++++++++++++++++++++++
    Vhyrenia walked over to the clerk's desk and spoke with the person briefly. Her husband followed suit, holding the kerra's hand. Maybe.. Just maybe they could get the paperwork.. A few seconds later, each of them was handed a small stack of papers.
    "Hm.. How about we sign them first, and then after that, we go to the local orphanage? We should see if any children would be able to fit into our humble house.. Or even if they want to be adopted at that.." she said to the Freeblood, who nodded in agreement. After discussing with each other the implications and such, they sat down on a couch nearby.
    Then they both began to sign various empty spots in the papers.
    “Oh, uh-“ Ross scrambled to find some paper. After a moment of rummaging through desk and files she produced an old report and a piece of charcoal. She turned the report over and handed the charcoal to Ziqua.
    Sylvie shook her head. “What can we do about the damage?”
    ***
    The wooden platter broke and Rothgut felt the sting of the blade cut into his arm. He reached out with his other arm and caught the thrown dagger. He gave up trying to reason with the other Ratonga. Rothgut did not use the blade though, instead he clutched the handle and swung an uppercut aimed at the other’s jaw, knowing that the blade would not get through the armor.
    Bellacouste growled, not understanding what the crossed fingers meant. She cast Chromatic Storm while Cheddar cast Chromatic Shower. With a nod to Aloysiius the Bard slipped into the shadows and began to creep towards the coercer, his daggers sliding from his belt.
    ***
    Llew turned and watched Tetri. She nodded and urged Snowdrop on. “We’ll begin setting up everything. Catch up when you can!” Aleteriq turned and clung to Llew’s robes as Snowdrop leapt up at the end of her short run. Behind her the others began to take off.
    ***
    Rainer watched Xia walk right past him and into the woman’s barracks. He pursed his lips and went towards the men’s. He found Padparadisch curled up on one of the bunks.
    “You know, that anti-seasickness potion really does work.”
    The Teir’dal growled. “I don’t need it.”
    “Looks like you do.”
    Another growl.
    Ginnar grinned but Nordri shook his head. “Ay’d like ter actually ‘ear yer make some noise though.”
    ((I seemed to have dropped Herrigan and them.
    Also: I hope you two had an awesome Easter. :) ))
    Herrigan finally managed to unlock the shackles before moving to the door in the back of the wagon and unlocking that. He swung it open. Norna lay on the wagon's bench, clutching her side where the arrow still stuck out, unsure of whether or not she should pull it out.
    ((We had a great Easter... hope y'all did too))
    Ziqua took deep breath and began drawing. She decided to show everything she had seen. First she drew a hammer and shaded it black. She drew an ogre holding the black hammer. Next she drew a set of brawler fists which looked like claws she drew a clock around them and then a woman reaching for them. She then drew a black bow surrounded by trees and skeletons. Finally she drew a black sword. She drew a box around the sword. Around the box she drew roots and orcs. She paused and drew a line separating the next part. She drew two figures in armor. Carefully she drew long lizard-like tails on them. The first she colored the armor black. She drew a line indicating another scene with the Iksar knight in black laying at the feet of a Ratonga Knight. Behind the Ratonga Knight the Iksar Knight in white lay bleeding. She slid the paper over to the Captain.
    The Gnome sighed “Um well she could be healed if someone knew what they were doing. Someone who knows more about animals.... would help... you know I started....”
    Mordedana cast him a look “You try my patienssse, let me guessss you started training assss a druid perhapsss?” The Iksar sighed. “I met a Fury who livessss here in Qeynossss....” she frowned “Windfoot... I want to say Tetri...”
    Priestess Anna nodded “Tetriemmy Windfoot, yes... I sent someone to fetch her earlier she is not home... and I have not wanted to leave the child alone to write a letter to her.
    Elena's mind began to wander. She still did not fight the Halfling and she was unsure if he could see her thoughts or not. Her mind raced over memories of the painful experiments done to her by Vonelix and his laughter as she screamed and howled. In her mind she whispered to the Halfling Illusionist hoping the relaxing spell allowed him to hear her thoughts at the very least: “Help me...”
    ~~~~~
    Samantha took off after a short jog. Kyriu held on tightly.
    Brienae whispered a prayer to Xegony. She shrank to half her size and took to the sky. A trail of sparking white dust followed her as she flew
    The wyvern flapped his wings causing a great wind before he lifted off. Senriala squeezed her daughter's waist as they left the ground.
    Alyerra laughed as they leveled out in the air “Mom are you alright? You've lived in a tree for twenty years...”
    “Yes,” Senriala answered “Always with a solid support under my feet.”
    Without any further urging the Wyvern followed behind the small griffons.
    Tetriemmy analyzed the Iksar. “If you give me your word that you will study Conjuring then I will see that you get home.” she turned her eye on Lazzera “Cub, both of you are to go to my Groves and wait there! I want neither of you involved with this!”
    “But Tetri we can...” Lazzera began before the Ratonga cut her off.
    “Cub, Lamia has a past and doesn't need the temptation and you are more susceptible to his powers than most now do as I say!”
    “But I...” the Freeblood warden tried again.
    Tetriemmy said nothing and turned back to the Iksar “Do I have your word that you stop training in the Unnatural Necromancy and begin training as a Conjuror?”
    ~~~~
    Xia sighed and stretched. She wasn't sure what to do. She didn't really need sleep. She pulled out a small fife and began to play quietly. She hoped no one would mind.
    ~~~
    After she was released Mazsra gently removed the young woman's hand from the gash. "I need to see the wound," she explained as she began casting a healing spell on the wound.
    ~~~~
    Mizria nodded “Well I did bring some dresses with me or if you'd rather something custom fit I have fabric. Nesria show her the dresses we brought.”
    The reflection did nothing.
    Mizria stamped her foot. “Must I do everything?” she pulled out three garments from her bag. The first was a blue robe, second was a dress with a triangle of fabric in the front, and third was a short blue skirt with a blue shirt. “Do you like any of these?” the Fae tailor asked.
    Sam nodded. He understood but he had no idea what to say. He had been able to just make some noises before so a noise would prove nothing.
    Carl rubbed his chin “Do you remember Ling?” he asked.
    Tim raised an eyebrow “Who's Ling?”
    Sam started to nod but then realized what his brother was trying to do “Y-yes...” he managed. His voice was hoarse from disuse but a smile formed on his face as he said it.
    “Now who is Ling?” Tim asked again.
    Carl laughed “His crush when we were kids... Half-Elf I believe.”
    Sam blushed. He wanted to say more but was unsure how to form the words. He signed.
    Tim translated “He wants to know if she's still around...” he paused “I would guess no... I've never heard of her....”
    Lamia frowned and crossed her arms at Lazera. "You should probably list-" she said, interrupted as Tetriemmy had shouted at Lazera. Too late. "Uhm.." she held up her finger, then put her hand down. "Lets go, miss Lazera.. I don't think it such a good idea to anger Tetriemmy. She seems a little stressed.." she stated. The Ratonga tugged on Lazera's arm, trying to convince her to turn and head towards the Druid Rings or something.
    "Lazera, c'mon. Let's just go.." she pleaded.
    Ssulvex didn't actually expect the woman to believe his lie, which took him aback. He was unsure of how to respond, as usually when he tried to pull this off, he was attacked. He let out a feigned whimper again. He pulled from his pack a small stuffed panda and squeezed it.
    "M-Mama always told me whatever I'm doing was okay.. She never said it was bad.. She.. I don't know who to believe." he said raspily, coughing a few times. He swallowed and pretended to hesitate. "I-I'll do my best to s-study Conjuring.." he replied with a stutter. He then slowly backed away.
    "Anything else you wanted with me, miss..?" he asked before he calmly shifted to his werewolf form, getting down on all fours.
    The Kerra stumbled back onto the floor. He seemed dazed for a few seconds, rubbing his head in pain. But then he stopped as he got an idea. The child in his arms that he had taken. The Kerra held up the Ratonga child by the tightly wrapped blanket he was in.
    "Be careful, rats! Or else I will either drop this fleabitten thing! Or he'll go brain-dead!" he threatened, quickly standing up the best he could. His legs were shaky, indicating he was weak. And he knew that one drop onto the floor would severely hurt the small baby. Or even kill it.
    Shiasia heard the words from outside the Tainted Eagle and then, she snapped. Her fists clenched tightly. Her motherly instinct kicked in. Nobody was gonna hurt her baby if she had anything to say about it! The woman opened the door, stomped in and shrieked.
    "Nobody threatens my baby and gets away with it!" she cried out, running towards the cat-man. With a few swift motions, she grabbed her son, put him down in the high chair just beside her, and grabbed the knife again. An unholy, red energy glowed around it. The unholy energy of a Shadowknight. She was completely unaware that she was channeling such a thing.
    "You will not touch my baby!" she growled, getting ready to charge at Rak'Khashan.
    Stinsmia looked at the three dresses she was offered and thought for a moment, pursing her lips. "U-Uhm.." she stammered. She wasn't used to making decisions for herself. She was used to having someone decide for her.
    "U-Uhm.. The robe, p-please.. If that's okay." she stammered. She herself had quite the competence in tailoring, however she was frankly too sleepy right now and gave a yawn. The girl idly wondered to herself why she was always such a drowsy girl. Maybe it was just her nature..? Maybe she wasn't used to such a calm, warm and welcoming place, like her new home for example.
    Vhyrenia looked to her husband and frowned. "Actually.. Maybe we should.. reconsider, considering your.. condition.. Despite the fact that you only drink from animals.." she said to him softly.
    Vaska merely shook his head in response.
    Ross leaned forward to look at the paper. She kept her expression neutral as she examined it. “This is what you saw?”
    Nerry flinched as the visions assaulted his mind. He reeled back, stumbling and cutting his own spell off in a panic. He fell into Mordedana’s legs and sat on her foot, clutching his head, his breathing turning shallow and quick.
    Sylvie reached out to the Halfing. “What’s wrong? What happened?”
    Rothgut’s punch missed his mark completely and the momentum of the swing spun him around, leaving his back momentarily exposed to Colby.
    Aloysiius saw his chance and sprang out of the shadows, grabbing the Kerra from behind in a choke hold, one arm wrapped around the Kerra’s neck while the other pressed against the back of the neck.
    Llew led the odd procession through the trees, weaving in and out of trunk, branch and platform as she headed east and south. Aleteriq stretched his neck so that he could see over her shoulder as the Faydark’s thick foliage obscured the acorns and huts of the city. The wisps drifting lazily through the violet shaded branches looked to him like snowy stars falling from the sky. He glanced down as the folds of earth slid by below and squeezed his eyes shut as the sudden thought of how high they were hit him. He buried his face into Llew’s shoulder. Llew glanced down at her brother, his braid whipping past her arm in the wind. “It’s alright, Aleteriq.” She said to him as they followed theLowerEmeraldRiverpast Tunare’s Glade. She was not sure that he had heard her in the wind and leaned down a little to speak into his ear. “It is alright, Aleteriq. Don’t be afraid.”
    Rainer shrugged and pulled himself into his own bunk. The men’s barracks was quiet with napping or reading denizens. Padparadisch hated it. When there was the noise of a city he could escape the thoughts and memories that burned his mind but here he could barely even pick up the sounds of the deck. His hand reached up to his throat and he scowled at the wall.
    In the woman’s barracks an Erudite rolled over in her bunk to see who was playing music.
    Norna relaxed as the healing spell began to take effect.
    Nordri listened closely to the voice and was satisfied. “Yer’ll need ter git used ter talkin’ again, but Ay think yer gonna be fine, laddie.”
    Ginnar chuckled. “Well, nuttin’ gits a bloke talkin’ like the lassies.”
    The kitten nodded.
    Telsi stood and drew her blades on instinct ready to fight.
    Mordedana reached down to help the Halfling.
    “I'm sorry...” Elena whispered. Her voice was weak. “I-I needed to show someone... I didn't mean to hurt him.”
    Telsi sheathed her blades as she realized there was no immediate threat. She sat back down next to Calish.
    The Teir-dal made no movement except for his breathing. He seemed rather pale as well.
    “He doesn't look well.” Vonelix said nodding towards the unconscious Dark-Elf.
    Telsi turned. Her pink eyes seemed to drill into the Gnome “He'll be fine. Seeing as how you came in here in irons... I don't trust you.” her eyes narrowed.
    Colby took the opportunity and slashed at the back of the old Ratonga.
    Zach surveyed the room. He felt guilty that he not entered the fight before. There seemed to be two battles and he wasn't sure which one he should intercede. He mentally chided himself for simply not jumping in. He saw that the coercer now seemed to be under control. He Mantis leaped to the Shadowknight. He was not in time to stop the blade.
    Faeberry clung to Bella's robe. She was scared and wanted her mother but she was afraid to run with all the spells and fighting.
    Brienae caught up and flew beside Llew's griffon. She saw the child's interest in the wisps. She smiled and projected her voice so he would hear it over the wind. “Those are Fae spirits,” she explained “They guide us and protect us.” she decided not to share that sometimes these spirits would be re-incarnated someday as new Fae.
    Tetriemmy watched the Iksar transform. “No, I will be keeping an eye you to see that you learn.”
    Lazzera sighed “Well that was uneventful. Come on,” she said to Lamia “Windfoot Groves is this way.” she turned towards the ramp.
    Xia continued to play. Her memories of home and longing to travel mingled into the melody.
    Mazra made sure that the wound was healed and then sighed “I suppose you'll need to cuff me again...”
    Sam nodded. He tried to say something and sighed. He signed “Thank you I need to learn how to form words again... it may take time.” he blushed at Ginnar's words. After Tim translated his signs he swallowed and responded verbally “True” his face reddened more almost to match his hair.
    Carl laughed.
    “I'm curious then why haven't I heard of her?” Tim asked.
    Sam laughed “You...” he sighed and was forced to sign the rest.
    Carl translated “Yo are in the same situation Jake was in. Our guess is you tried to hang out with Zachary and Ethan and they did not want you with them.”
    Tim nodded.
    “Ethan and Zach had no interest in Ling... Jake did but not as much as Sam.” Carl continued to translate Sam's hands. He winced “Thanks for that Samuel... I really needed to be reminded how old I am...” he sighed “To give you an idea I was twenty when Jake was thirteen...”
    “I'm Twenty-six,” Tim said “I'm not a child,”
    Both Sam and Carl looked at him as if for the first time.
    “What?” Tim asked.
    ~~~~~
    “Oh of course that is fine.” Mizria answered “I brought it for you. If you ever want anymore, just let me know.” the Fae tailor smiled.
