Paladin spell "Celestial Cleansing" is missing from Rushka Deklamoor. It was added at the same time as the druid heals.

While half of it was unnecessary, I'll admit - if the dev's see this and say "Wait, it's supposed to be the first version..." it could be that the Thylex being there (with a broken Vulak 2.0 script attached to it) could be blocking the Vulak 1.0 from spawning if that was their intent.

It might not have been clear but that was the primary intent of my question that he deigned to troll. With 3 versions of Vulak - it doesn't seem to unlikely that some parts from the wrong versions are mixed in and causing a conflict.

should probably PM this to Roshen or Prathun or somethin

This is now fixed internally. The Presence of the Mighty aura effect will no longer behave as a detrimental effect. This will require a full update before the change is visible on Live servers.

This was fixed internally this morning and hotfixed this afternoon. Vulak should now spawn if Thylex is up and all the Lords and Ladies of the zone are slain. We were pleasantly surprised that this was a scripted mechanic and it was fairly easy to change, as other Velious special spawn behavior of this type used networks of invisible men, dialogues, and shouts, which is much more complicated to troubleshoot. It was necessary to have the death event scripts look for the progression server ZCDs when checking the dead NPCs and spawning Vulak. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Looks like you're right. Lowered the expansion restrictions on Celestial Cleansing and Divine Glory from Luclin to Velious.
These spells will be available for purchase from Quelolista Samautia in East Freeport and Rushka Deklamoor in the Commonlands tunnel.

Looks like harm touch is broken again.

    Which of the below inconveniences?

    1) You don't test Velious bosses AT ALL, leading to guilds to have to massively recruit to be able to take down anything and excluding all but two guilds from any content
    2) It takes you a month to "fix" it.
    3) The "fix" completely overshoots the mark & makes the Velious bosses killable by the RMTer on the server.
    4) Meanwhile, it's still impossible to unlock Luclin because the content still isn't tested and Vulak doesn't spawn.
    5) You hotfix that randomly at 4am in the morning without any advance notice?

You guys have got to stop taking two months to make content work right on the progression servers if you want these servers to continue to bring in revenue. Especially once Phinny is leading the charge with 84 days per expansion. 2 months to fix content at that point and you will have lost the player base completely.

I just watched 3 people running scripts on dozens of toons take down King Tormax. Robotically, each toon was doing its thing, far faster than any human being could do. It was clearly scripted. Clockwork. It's a nice achievement in the same way that writing a program to play any game is a nice achievement.

Daybreak, why don't you just expose a scripting language as good as that provided in a certain two-letter program for everyone, so we can all be on equal footing? Or do you just want to reward folks who are willing to run third party executables that inject code into your EQ process? What is your thinking here, Daybreak?

Your "free" competition does a better job of enforcing bans against people who automate-away all the content in the game. But then again, they aren't making money on it. Your free competition just likes the game for what it is -- a game. DBG on the other hand, is just out to make a buck. 40 subs is 40 subs; it doesn't matter to you whether its 1 guy running a script, or 40 people getting together to play the game as a guild. It's just 40 subs.

Well, until you've burned out any good will people have towards you as a steward of this game.

And to think you still nerf mage and necro pets with Mark of the Old Ways. Why bother? You just want to punish the actual human being playing a mage on a guild raid?
  11. Tieyla Elder

So the cries for nerfs are replaced with the cries of "people we don't want killing the mobs are killing the mobs, un-nerf it!"

Full circle people, thanks Darkwind for all your contributions to the TLP community.

You mean, just like Drainboss does when he brings his toons to kill with Darkwind? Just how other DW boxers use?

Funny how you're not against it there.

"Sustained. You're on thin ice, EQForumAcct."

[quote="Lawyer, post: 3425470, member: 418008" What is your thinking here, Daybreak?
    [/quote]

Clearly their thinking is that they would rather not lose the 90% of subscribers that use such code.

The same guy had accounts mass banned in Kunark for botting. Now the Velious nerf hammer made everything trivial and this guy is back at it. There's about 60 chars being played by 3 people in full automation. Takes half a minute for a GM to investigate and clearly see this is violation of the rules.

But I am sure they will sit on it and let the playerbase quit in frustration long before anything is done by it.
  16. EQForumAcct Augur

Then please look at Drainboss raiding with Darkwind....and the other Darkwind boxers....they're just as obvious.

Takes an extra 10 seconds for a GM to investigate and clearly see it is another violation of the rules. Then, take another 30 seconds and question Darkwind getting over 200 people in the same primary instance of Kael for their AoW kill when there were zone caps in place - an even more clear violation of the rules.

What goes around, comes around, right Darkwind?
  17. Surfrider New Member

Massive difference of 1 guy running around with a load of mages and using ISB to hit assist and pet attack (legal btw), vs these guy rolling 20-30 complete mix of classes each. There's no possible way to legit box all those classes in such numbers. Besides, you can watch them automated as they are killing raid targets.
  18. Draekony Lorekeeper

It's pretty obivious that stuff is allowed on ragefire, since they only went through great lengths to coordinate with eqmule to have it not use-able on phinigel, but not ragefire/lockjaw. Seems like a dead end to cry about scripts on those two servers now.

Botting software is legal, any software is legal. You can do whatever you want, as long as you're at the keyboard.

How can we tell what's left for luclin timer? Fippy had that sweet progress chart, but I don't think we do?
