    O_O you need more information?? REALLY???
    the team is working on it???? really??? (i cant see anything about it)
    what do i see is that many are working on this bloody game H1Z1, that you have time for a bloody move from A to B down the street ..... those are things i can see ....
    oooh almost forgot ... apologizes ... TONS of apologizes .... ever thought of that we are not able to play with apologizes???
    you need more information .. to make it short

    Version A:
    get a toon online on antonius bayle from saturday eve (7 pm CET) to (finally) thursday

    Version B:
    Times: can not be announced since spread over all the 24h of the day
    Zones: ALL either lag or disco
    Rollback: for each player different

    oh bloody hell and what i almost forgot ... you slowed down the Launchpad with the patch in end of august

    all these stuff can be found spread over theese pages, and you really need MORE information?????
    shall we create a new thread where we collect all the stuff??
    oh we might even send you "support tickets" with the whole log file as attachement ... DO you REALLY want to this??

    we already gave you the information that is needed ... for almost must be 6 weeks now
    1.5 months in which we can only rely on that AB will be crashing at least once a day, that loot will be vanished
    and you come along with apologizes ... you want us to stay calm and tuned?

    Bloody hell .... give your god damn technicians some pat on the back of the head ... so they do run propper again.

    OH and much more IMPORTANT start to communicate with us ... there had been made suggestions like "merge server with 1 in US" or offer a free server merge ... tbh i feel myself beeing put in a cage and ignored

    ooh and i am in the mood to do some kiting .. but not some mobs on AB

    oh yes what i forgot to mentioned ... we have read your posting but those postings are saying what?
    NOTHING .. not after those bloody time that has passed already
    there is absolutly nothing we do see about the work you are doing .. neither on this board nor on FB or even twitter ... oh oh and even not on the "newspage" of the launcher.

    what we can see are the crashes and rollbacks ... the items and the exp that hopp into Nirvana and will never be send back out again ... those are the things we have to deal with .. oh and no information.
    Now guess what is even worse !!!

    and to come to an end .. as Nyane said

    i'd only say that people are really pissed off finally and not only a "little frustrated"
    finally you are even loosing people for future games, at least even if you fix this sever within the next week i won't ever buy anything where DB has worked on with .. for sure in case you fix it within this month i will go on playing EQ .. but THIS WAS IT

    Totally agree - how can it be that you need help from PLAYERS to gather information about your server behaviour...
    Here is an idea ... set up new account by few of the dev team - log into AB and wait for a while - I am sure you will get all the information we can give you ( and hopefully more )
    This is not rare bug that hard to track - it is not predictable but it does happen very often every few hours ...

    I don't get how after 5 weeks you STILL have no answer. You ask us to send feedback.. nothing. Nadda. Zilch. This disconnect we are getting is happening during peak times and especially during raid times which is pissing people off royally! We only get a generic reply? We are PAYING to play... and all of us on AB are getting royally screwed out of our sub. Either fix it, merge us with another server or give us a free server transfer.. enough is enough!

    Roshen you wanna fool us, don't you? 34 Pages with more than 650 posts and you wanna tell us that you need more information??? Really??
    Sry but I am payed for the work I do. I am sure you will be payed the same way. And YOU ask US to do YOUR job?

    But ok ok...... take all your time you need to fix that problem. Hold back all information you could give your costumers to stay calm......
    As I sayed some post before: If this problem is not solved till friday evening (hurry up just still 54 hours left) or we will get some information we can deal with, I dont care about it anymore, because then I will cancel my both subscriptions!!!!

    And you can be sure, that I never will come back or play any other game where I can see "Daybreak" on any side of the cover!

    Six weeks of ignoring costumers and nonesaying answers is more than enough!!!

    We read your first post, as you can clearly see in the 20 pages of logs you already received (doing the jobs of your specialists) and after 2 weeks of a post of absolute no information what do you expect what the reaction will be ...... it's time to give out information of what is the problem, why is it not found / fixed, what do you expect from us exactly ( not busy work, there's surely more dev's and network-specialist as your customers then you have at hand) and most importantly what is the timeframe of it beeing fixed .... if none of these questions can be answered you should start doing server merges (no charge) to a working server ..

    PS: that isn't meant to attack you personaly or other dev's but at the complete lack of information we're getting, which transfer over as you just don't care .....

    Ok, what I post now might be major idiotic, but who knows. Many years ago, Sony changed the way you go ld. In the early years, when the green latency bar went down you did not go ld right away, as soon as the bar was full again you was back on track.

    This was changed then, because some clever people entered dungeons and unplugged the network cable, ran as long as the bar became red, re-plugged the cable again and managed to run through VT e.g. to named mobs without killing anything. This was an exploit. To remove this possibility the ld system was changed, as soon as you even have a small interupption you go ld.

    Now some weeks ago I read something in a one of the patch messages about changing this instant ld thing and remove it. I cannot remember when I read it.

    Can it be that this damaged something, so the system acts weird now??? because I see as soon as my green latency bar starts to switch between 98% and 100% it is just flickering, the lag starts and the disconnection starts.

    The same issues have begun to start happening on Luclin now also. Today has been especially bad, with longer than 5 minute zone times and a plethora of other horrible lag-induced issues.

    I started another thread specific to that server already as this one seems specific to AB:

    Roshen, it's quite random actually, most of the time I'm zoning in somewhere (it could be any zone really). 3 nights ago I was in Warrens around 3 a.m. EST (already deep inside the zone) and suddenly "You Have Been Disconnected". I run a constant check on my modem speed and it's very good. So I know my end isn't the issue. I didn't want to log back in because I was deep inside that zone already and I didn't want my character to die in that zone if I relogged in, so I just called it a night. This is happening way too often with so many others as well. Another complaint I do have is the fact that the mercs, once they revive, have zero endurance and stay that way until someone casts a spiritual buff or a Bard is playing in the GL. Otherwise they stay at zero. This didn't happen before and that's been an ongoing problem for months.

    I'm not in a position to add anything new on the error log front and, if I was still paying for an account, I'm not sure my logs would show anything different from the 10's of logs posted before (all of which you could get by creating a single character on the server). But what I can say; I was a paying customer for many years, I have investment sitting on AB servers that was built up over more than a decade and I was looking to come back.

    I've watched this situation now for a month for two reasons: 1) is it likely I will get anything worth my money if I resub and 2) how will DB respond to this (general curiosity).

    This issue has sat very prominently on your forums for over a month now and constitutes a marketing disaster. Not only does the combination of a protracted problem + the bizarre request to crowd-source a solution from your paying customers make you look incompetent, but your inability to even pay basic lip service to your paying customers over an extreme problem with your service looks simply disgraceful. I will never buy a DB-affiliated service again, whatever form it takes. So, whilst you might have a business plan to write off your Euro players for EQ, you should know that this has much further-reaching consequences. I cannot for the life of me understand any business case to not say sorry for this particular situation, as a fundamental minimum.

    Best of luck to all the people struggling here that I have known throughout my years with EQ. I feel very sorry for you :(

    7 october, nomore lags, nomore crashes today ! Do the AB problem solved? If yes, what happened, can we know?
    And if yes, (i dont want to be greedy though) what is planned to repear our wastes of times, our hours waiting on a black screen? When someone pay for something and he cant have what he asked, generaly the sellers tru to compensate...

    DB,

    Have devs ruled out any form of targetted DDOS attack or similar ? These issues originally started very randomly and didnt occur any more in peak time than off hours (but when it started to happen more in peak times it was obviously noticed more). More recently there seemed to be more of a pattern with the bad lag starting 5 mins or so before the hour, as if scheduled. Now Luclin having issues.

    Could it be that AB has been targeted first and now that so many ppl are pissed off, cancelled subscriptions and refusing to buy the new expac, that the perpetrator has decided that the damage has be irreparably done and now moved onto the next.

    Given the DDOS attacks earlier this year, this wouldnt seem to be too far fetched. And so far, the info from you has been so majorly absent, that we have no idea which possibilities u have already ruled out. So you are majorly handicapping our ability to help with brainstorming.

    Nice hint for DB, Siny.

    And if they have financial and social compentence then they check that out and if it is a DDOS then they make it public so that every main computer/games papers makes a short article note and every user knows it esp. in the country where the main problem was.

    Positive side:
    - DB is not the main to blame
    - Users have more patience and damn the goddamn hackers
    - free advertising for an old game and new players
    - for the Players: new partners to group and play

    Communication could be such an interesting tool.
    Perhaps DB should try a bit NLP ;)

    If you are very happy and you have too much money you then can buy the new expansion, about as much zones as Ykesha 10 years ago but some are recycled old zones and only for - hold your breath - 34,99$ and if you pay with Paypal in Europe then its only - tata - 46$ or 41€. If anybody can give me a very good feeling about that or an explanation - no single exchange program or banker could add such a sum without being super horny on money.... :p

    But it seems that only the algorithm of the website is wrong and Paypal does rechange it to about 33,66 Euro. So even with the most bugs it seems that we are all very happy people to be able to play a 15 year old game and it is still running at all. I don't want to know how messy that code meanwhile is. Think about it: milk, 15 years old, would never make it so far. And most cars today are only lasting half of the time without rusting to the bone. But a good scotch... anyways... a software packages which is working for so long without rust - you have to pray like moslem do it, but not to Mekka, to USA, the Mekka of the Bits, Bugs and Bytes.:rolleyes:
