Quality of Life wishes and dreams. What would you want?

I would love for them to look back into the hacker version of melo and add in some of the features for that. That is where the current melo version for bards came from. How about changing melo so it can be used on any class in the game and allow clicky items etc to be used with it like the hacker version which is so much better.

something like the following would be cool for all classes be it necro, wiz, etc

1) target npc
2) attack on
3) manual slow cast / debuff
4) /melo dot dot nuke itemclick nuke nuke dot dot etc

Maybe look at the hacker /follow ability too because it works so much better than your terrible /follow that noone uses and will cause you to fall off cliffs

A few changes I'd like to see, don't know if they've already been suggested since I'm not reading 100 pages:

Remove a massive headache from raiding with this one simple trick.

Pet proc raid lag will likely never get fixed and maintaining a pet buff block macro for all possible procs is a pain. This would be an acceptable bandaid fix.

I'd like if the EQ icon in the task bar had the account name. Right now the taskbar looks like this when I have multiple clients loaded:



I wish that EQ's taskbar label looked more like the Firefox one, which is an icon and a description. I'd like the taskbar icon to be "[EQ] account_name" so I knew which client went with which account.

A legal scripting program or something so i dont have to waste hours repricing my traders its so slow and annoying.

That would be great. It's such a pain to reprice things. Even if you wanted to edit your BZR price listing file manually, it doesn't really work because the file just has item ids rather than names.

Any javascript geniuses out there want to make a web page where we upload our BZR file and it shows the item names and lets us edit the prices and then outputs the file with the new prices?

yea when i had 6 traders and had to reprice them it would take me like a hour or so. just annoying very annoying. Down to 4 traders so i guess its getting easier this expansion been real bad with people undercutting.

showing items stats on the inventory find window for things like figuring out which aug to change when you get a new one.

A simple request. Stable gameplay.

I think it would be nice if items had a button to toggle the stats display to show what the stats are without power source or augs. That would make it easier to compare it to new loot to see if its much of an upgrade.

Doesn't the compare feature do that? Not that your suggestion is a bad idea.

If it was easy to find current prices and adjust things, everyone would do so constantly. I Think this would make everything worse because that'd be a huge downward pressure on all prices.
Instead there is a reward for those who take the time.

Allow 'find' to show items in houses that your character has access to, e.g. 'co-owner'.

There are lots of QOL that can be done but a top priority has to be Autofollow.

For any content that isn't top end, finding a group is difficult and on some servers it's an impossibility, so all that we can do is box with alts.

The ability to box successfully involves a lot of Autofollow and without using illegal software that means that your alts are going to shoot off randomly and train mobs.

From the Everquest live event it is obvious that the dev team want to push the group game and that Mercs aren't being given any advancements but in reality, there just isn't enough players to fill groups in levels 1 - 95

Make sure you are not limiting the background FPS and that each box is using all cores. That greatly improved my /autofollow.

I noticed something when searching for items in /baz recently based on the TS or combine materials like Fading Memory xxx items.

They are containers and thus do not filter correctly when searching /baz for say .... by slot Arms, Fading in the search field. Nothing appears. Likewise there is no decent way to search for charms as they don't show HME correctly until equipped.

Separately I'd love to see a sort filter in /baz for "collected" or "not collected" collectibles. Or a visible way on actual collection items to see them graphically as red or green without having to open the preview of each individual one.

Meh, autofollow is only a big deal for those that 6 box - which isn't most players.
If you have a quality computer and have your settings right, autofollow never causes a problem. I only 2 box and never have any autofollow issues

"Settings right" being increasing background FPS, if any don't know. Also walk like you're driving a bus.

If you only 2 box autofollow probably works great. Try 4 or more even with your settings on the low side. Its actually kind of humorous where all your characters end up at times. Anymore If I dont have Hinan (the mage) with me to COTH us about I usually grab my bard and SK and him head to camp. Then I pull out my Lost ring on shaman and zip right to the duo and Bada Bing theres your 3 needed for the campfire. Thank you for Lost/Found ring task. Love it.

This is with your background FPS turned up? If you leave it at the default low FPS when in the background, autofollow doesn't work well.

Make gargoyle swarm pets smaller, at least in raid zones.
