Some Dracula/Vampire legends actually had Dracula able to become a wolf or a bat so, it would still sort of make sense

The Vampire powerset is made of two trees: Blood and Night.
It also has the particularity of inflicting a permanent status of Vampirism to anyone specing into that tree (until a power respec is used). Vampirism is what makes one benefit fully from the healing powers of a vampire but also increase all damage by 20%. However, Vampirism also comes with a downside, all Fire attacks received have their damage increased by 100% on a Vampire power user, extreme vulnerability to Fire to say the least.

Furthermore, for roleplay's sake and gameplay conveniency, let's just say that the Exobytes removed Vampires' vulnerability to daylight.

Users in the DC universe that use this power or some of it:

Brother Blood

Andrew Bennett and Mary

BLOOD

Drain

[Vulnerable to interrupt]
Feed on your foes! Deplete their Health while replenishing yours.

Power Interaction:
Terrified enemies restores more Health

Healer Role:
Group members affected by Blood Ties receive Healing.

Damage Role:
Increases all damage by 35% until the hit counter resets (at least five seconds)

Brother Blood also has a version of that called Blink Drain (though the one above is more vampirish looking)

Bloodbending

Control the blood flowing through your enemies' bodies and pull them toward you.

Damage Role:
Increases all damage by 35% until the hit counter resets (at least five seconds)

Bloody Breaker

Concentrate a large quantity of blood into a damaging projectile.

Damage Role:
Increases all damage by 35% until the hit counter resets (at least five seconds)

I.LOVE.IT! Always wanted powers like this...we have Nature Powers why not Supernatural Powers too?! And the List is a very long one of the Legends Iconic DC heroes and Villains who have it...

Incredible work you put into this. Im no fan of a vampire power but you get an A+ for effort. I know that Greenman, the mental guide writer, is a big fan of the twilight saga so im sure he is all about this post.

They just adjust it I guess. Long as the playstyle is unique. I don't even play pvp and I am certainly not interested in dps numbers. Good news for people looking for a vampire hook is that Paradox is already planning to make use of White Wolf and we will probably have another Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines sooner or later. Bad news is they might not make MMO, but they have all the art assets and stuff from WOD "World of Darkness".

There is also Dogma: Eternal Night (but that's kickstarter, also devs are P2P biased)

Also want to note that this franchise is not for kids. Pretty dark and bleak universe.

I would play this, but only if they added a custom acrobatics version, where instead of "cape glide" or 'zip lines" you turn into a swarm of bats.

I guess it can be seen that way just like Blood Magic can be seen as being part of a bigger Vampire powerset a bit like Fauna and Plant are currently brought together under the Nature umbrella. The vampire powerset labelling as the adventage of being a neutral power considering the amount of good vampires showing up in modern era works to balance things out.
Nonetheless, as for your question of what could be the opposite for heroes of Blood Magic and Necromancy; it would probably be Life power. Maybe even animating inanimate objects bestowing life into them. The thematic there of Blood / Necromancy (bringing the dead back to life) would most likely be linked to Life and in that regard it would be a different direction compared to a "Creature of the Night" power.

Blood Magic could work. Right now I'm pretending that Rage (the second tree I think) is Blood Power for one of my alts whose concept is that of an alien vampire race.”

I can't seem to find many sites with the icons. I've found a few, but I need certain ones for certain abilities I had in mind for a powerset I want to see.
