The most memorable and epic moment was seeing hundreds of BWC at the warpgate getting ready to launch in the Legendary Operation Spartan - E300. That was an amazing show led by BWC that I am sure of made SOE proud to be a part of their community. I was amazed how well we could coordinate to accomplish such a great thing. My sincere congratulations to all of you BWC. You are an icon in gaming

Why I started looking for a team to play with:
It all started on a warm summer evening, birds tweeting in the branches… Nah, just kidding, it all started with the Star Citizen cinematic trailer, when I first saw the Bengal I knew ‘’man I want to be in a Bengal once in a life’’ But as the book ‘’Rich Dad Poor Dad’’ Says you must never say I can’t get it, but you have to ask yourself ‘’how can I get it’’ after thinking for some time I had my decision.

What I was looking for in a team:
I need a big Company to join! Well organized and with a rich history. I wanted to be part of one team and not a group of individuals!
‘’One Team One Fight’’ That’s what I found, the Black Widow Company

Why I chose to join BWC:
The military aspect fascinated me from the very beginning ! After reading through the SOP and BWC’s history I knew that this was the Company with which I could achieve my goals! I was also fascinated by the idea of controlling a part of space and the fact that they hated piracy!
After all, BWC was the most promising and best looking outfit out there, and I can say, it was the right choice!

First impressions withing the first month of starting whti BWC:
that's cool. that's cool as well. that were my first impressions ! Everybody was incredibly friendly, helpful and everything ran smooth.
The Military Style made fighting great, we won nearly every battle even if we only were a few against a lot of enemys.
I was really fascinated by the organization in our Star Citizen fleet! It was incredible. Everything was so incredibly well planned and everything seemed perfect.
After the first few days I knew that I as right here.
    BWC-One Team, One Fight !

Why I have stayed with BWC
Gaming simply was more fun and I won more often. It also was this unique feeling in BWC, a group of very professional friends if you want to say so. I thrilled to see that aspect kicking in in Star Citizen, the main game why I joined BWC.

How I’ve improved in my game after joining BWC:
I can’t talk about that a lot because Star Citizen, the game for which I joined, isn’t out yet. But I started to play planetside 2 after I joined and I can say, I wouldn’t have learned as much if I haven’t been in BWC.
If you start playing the game it can be very very depressive because the weapons you have make a huge difference in how many kills you land.
But I think I’ve got better faster than most of the other players, because when you play in a group with only high battleranks you gain a lot of experience. I hope to archieve the same in our Star Citizen Regiment

My most memorable moment with BWC:
I have two; the first one is from the time I first logged on in Team Speak. Everybody welcomed me, was super friendly and tried to help me out wherever he could!
That’s the BWC- One Team One Fight Mentality.
The second one was in Planetside2, we, a squad of 12 was locked inside an enemy building by the shields around us.
The base had only alpha point, and that point was where we were. Only us twelve against the enemy forces, holding alpha point until it flipped.
We killed about 60 Enemies, medics staying clause to heavy assault !
That’s what you will see when you join us !
Come check us out, I will see you on www.the-bwc.com

Why I started looking for a team to play with.

When you get head shotted right out the spawn room for the sixteenth time in a row you start to get a clue that you're doing something wrong. There is a limit to how much you can accomplish on your own. Some games, PS2 the being one of the leading examples are based on teamwork. You can run on your own trying to guess what the rest of the folks around you are going to do and act in manner that might help but you can never really be sure at what's going on and if you won't find yourself all alone in ten seconds. A team wins. A bunch of people running around doing their things don’t, no matter how much they might try.

Once that simple fact sunk in I knew I need to find a team to play with.

In every game, playing with a group of guys (or gals) is usually more fun then just playing alone. In every multiplayer game, you don't just want to be another number, you want to be part of a family. I played EVE for a while and had become grown used to the environment, and so when I saw Star Citizen I knew that I wanted to be a part of a family again, and with that in mind, I started my search to not only find a new gaming guild, but a new group of friends.

Why I was Looking for a team to play with

Being Ex Military myself, the feeling of being part of something bigger has always held true with me, extending into playing games and seeing groups of people running around tags above their heads! I also remember trying PS2 out early on having seen it featured on Nvidia’s pages. After much dying alone I stopped playing as I found it not to be fun. Thats when I found BWC through Star Citizen... Everything has now changed. That Brotherhood feeling is back, being part of something bigger, achieving more than the sum of its parts...

Why I started looking for a team to play with:

Have been a lone wolf in most games, tried my best and pretty much always fail and have become boring fast when you're alone. searched for days and weeks for a group that suited me, as a newb I am at times I needed someone who could give me some training and tell me what I'm doing wrong as well, and BWC was the best choice.
After just a short time they have given me much more confidence, and provided very good training in teamwork, which actually makes it more fun.
And so incredibly friendly group of people too.

Why I started looking for a team to play with.

My story applies mostly to Star Citizen. But the same ideas and principles apply to any game out there.

Back in October of 2012, I discovered that Chris Roberts had returned to the gaming industry. He returned not only to delve back into the world of video games, but to create the video game of my dreams. This was the video game I had been waiting for Chris Roberts to create for over a decade.

My first order of business, of course, was to immediately invest into the kickstarter campaign, and do my part to help bring this dream to a reality. The next phase involved absorbing and gathering as much information as I could. Albeit limited at the time, the little information available ignited my imagination and enthusiasm.

Now, I’ve played a number of MMO games over the years, and I’ve been a member of several smaller guilds over the course of my gaming career. Counter Strike, City of Heroes, WOW, to name a few. There is strength in numbers, and strength is often required in MMO games, especially to achieve the loftier goals found towards “end-game.” But, there’s more to it than that. None of these groups ever stuck together for very long. Some even disbanded, or faded away before my time with the game ended.

Even when those guilds were up and running, it was often difficult to achieve some of the most rewarding in-game goals due to either lack of organization, poor strategy, or simple not enough people logging-in at the same time. There were a number of times when I wanted to go achieve XYZ goal, but nobody else had the time or interest in helping me out. This always brought-on much frustration. In order to experience those truly epic moments in gaming, you need close friends who will be there to support you, and watch your back. Especially when the you-know-what hits the fan.

I knew that with the massive scale and diversity of Star Citizen, I wanted to be ingrained with a tight-knit group of like-minded players. So I started searching throughout the forums, and on RSI’s website. It didn’t take me long to find BWC. The fact that BWC is “Veteran run, military structured” caught my attention right away. As with any combat-oriented game, structure, dicipline and organization are key. Maybe it was my personal military experience which drew me to BWC. Perhaps it’s BWC “lawful, good” moral stance. Either way, it felt like a perfect fit from the get-go.

Why I started looking for a team to play with:

I joined BWC in Mechwarrior Online. After I saw how organized and fun they were, I became interested in PS2 and knew that I wanted to be part of the same team here. These things are ALWAYS better as part of a team. Might as well play single player games if I didn't want to be on a team.
  9. [BWC] ToDerKula

The military is a big part of my life. After I got out of initial training, the camaraderie went away. I looked for a way to fill that want by trying to join a clan that had the type of values I was looking for. I wanted to play games with other people and just chill/talk. I find playing with people you know is more fun so that is what I went and did. I wanted to make some new friends and laugh while shooting people in the face.
  10. SpawnoChaos

I started to look for a team to play with right about the same time that I ran across the BWC ingame assaulting a tech plant.

The coordination and teamwork that were displayed during that fight astounded me to the point that I realized, "I need to be part of a larger group, one that is coordinated like this one."

At that point it was a simple decision; instead of searching for a group like this, why not just join this group?

After reading about what the group is like and who they were, I never looked back. I've been with the BWC for almost a year now and I don't regret a single day of it.
  11. Skoaljaw

I started looking for a team when I realized I couldn’t enjoy MMO’s on my own. I’ve always been a team player and wanted to learn from and play with the best. While I was with the Army I gained valuable skills as well as insight with regards to working together towards a similar goal. One Team One Fight. A motto I live by. A motto BWC lives by. If this sounds like you, then join us!

I realized at some point that online games don't give you the real deal right out of the box. They may be good games with new graphics, innovative features, or just an amazing concept that makes you think "This is the game that I've always wanted", but they aren't necessarily fun games; What makes them fun is a community to play and enjoy the game with. That community is the content that may breathe a new life into the game by extending it way beyond what you might have already become bored with, making what you might have not enjoyed at all into an honest pleasure, or simply letting you play the game how it was meant to be played: together with your friends.

Why I started looking for a team to play with:

I started looking for a different game entirely, MWO, but I started looking for a really simple reason: I knew teamwork would be important. However, I had never been in a gaming group before so I did not know what to expect. As such I looked across many threads cause I felt the worse thing that happens is I don't find a group I like. But whats the harm in looking.
  14. Macromage

When I saw MWO being developed I knew I would like the game but I realized that having a solid team to play with would be instrumental in upgrading the fun factor. I joined BWC on 2 July 2012 on the same day i got beta access to MWO. The game was a lot of fun back then and I enjoyed playing as a team. A lot of the changes they made to the game I don't agree with and PGI's lack of schedule keeping has kept me away from the game until what I can only hope will be a good game once community warfare is released. Since I stopped playing MWO I have become very active in Star Citizen and play PotBS and PS2 with the truly awesome BWC members that go out of their way to assist you if they are able to.

Pugging has it's place in certain types of games, but to be consistently successful and develop what my Skipper used to call "the habits of victory" in an environment like PS2, you need that troop to your left and right, standing by your side and on the same page as you day after day.

BWC provides that page and there is never a doubt in the person next to you.

Why I started looking for a team to play with:
I tend to play most games solo, including MMO's simply because most games don't need or encourage true teamwork. For the most part this has worked out fine for me. However, this game definitely encourages team gameplay and BWC is all about teamwork. It is a completely different feeling between just going solo and rolling with a team. You feel like you are a part of something bigger, which you are with BWC.

Why I started looking for a team to play with:

I play multiplayer because people are different from AI(usually). They surprise you, they can use tactics, and every person is different, nothing like AI. However, they can also work together and when you work together, you exponentially increase each others skill. I was a lone wolf, I'd always play a game alone or with a guild that I joined in name only, so I could play mostly by myself, but every time I saw a disciplined group of players, be it Planetside, Warhammer Online, MWO or SWTOR, something stirred in me. Nothing could stand against them, and when the met a similarly skilled group of players, it was always amazing to watch.

Eventually I got the nerve to join Black Widow Company. I was missing out on so much over the years, being a lone wolf in all of those games. I could never stand up to other groups of players, I always had a hard time finding help if I needed it, but no longer. I'm finally part of a team and I'm never looking back.

    One team. One fight.

Why I started looking for a team to play with:

When I first started playing PS2 nine months ago, I was completely lost. No idea what I was doing, where the fights were, etc. So I decided that I needed a highly organized outfit to not only guide me, but also provide me with the maximum potential to have fun in the sheer scale of a game that is PS2. Fast forward to today, and as a veteran of PS2, I am most grateful to BWC for letting me be a part of all the fun that only an organized outfit such as BWC can provide. Thank you BWC, and if you are a new player to PS2, please check us out at: http://the-bwc.com/

    You won't regret it!

If you like flying and play on TR side, BWC is now a solid choice for you since "N" (notorious) merged with them a couple a days ago. They have good ground play and now good air support.

If your looking to specialise your skills and fight with a good amount of organised players at the same time, BWC is a solid choice.

    Props, Plasmaszap
