gosh, I like that indigo sofa posted by Qia, like that deep purple tone texture.
wonder how they look in emerald tone or ruby tone sofas?
maybe hopefully player-made folks could make them.

also I like specific harvesting nodes, with special house zone types made for mining, gathering, and wood, with limited amount pulled by each day, without rares, so we still have to go out and get the rares from open zones. higher your crafting stills, more nodes become available for each tier we gained. so that would be a decent size crafter's housing zone to fit in.

oh yeah Symatha, those HQ items are house items, but they don't look cool and old (lol), they were made for status cost reducing items.
I just only wish the fableds would be newer house item, I don't want to mute them or sold to vendor, since some of them I cant get to replace without a group/raid. they look so awesome and lower level fableds from 40-60 levels look so standard and blah uninteresting "past" trophies we looted.
it would open up whole new decorations with shields and weapons.
however, I am still waiting for better armor stands instead of those illusion mannequins we use are no excuse, also still looking forward to "warehouse" housing zone for retired relics or outgrown gears.

One reason I like the Mistmoore place so much; it's a pain in the epiglottis to decorate effectively, but a GREAT warehouse. ;->

Now, if it just had as many slots as a dungeon... ;->

I wasnt sure if this belonged here or tradeskills, but I wanted an adorn type item (inventory item used from inventory ON another inventory item) to be used on a house item you are holding.

The type of adorn would determine where the item would port you.

Give players access to items effects. The Mistmong Piano can play music.

I would think portkey properties would be the easiest to implement.

What would be especially cool is if you could imbue an item with your prestige portal. Then we could control how and with what design you leave. Just make the prestige portal item from inventory work like an adorn to be applied on a house item, or it can be placed as it is, a floating circle window.

I'd like to see real looking Fruit trees. Oranges, apples, pears, peaches, etc. I've wanted an apple tree for so long, and have only been able to collect 3 pomegranites to try and make one. Speaking of, the baskets of fruit are nice, but single items would be awsome as well. so yes, fruit trees and single items of fruit to spread along the ground like they've fallen off the tree.

There are the pumpkins for fields, the Goblin-tasted Apples for that (if you hide the big bite!), the Cabbages, but yeah, we definitely need more fruit/veggies and fruiting bodies (ripe trees, zucchini vines, etc.). ::nod::

And if the zones in-game can't be seasonal, we need more seasonal tree options: I know several T3 Guild Halls that break out into the surrounding countryside, and we could place our own Autumn trees (colorful leaves, some at the base), Spring trees (just beginning to get slightly green, as if buds were coming out), Summer trees (blossoming or fruiting), Winter trees (deciduous would be bare, maybe with snow on the branches/at the base of the trunk), etc. ;->

All chaise lounges have armrest on the left. Would like to have matching one with armrest on the right as well.

    1. The Kerra Island huts! They would work great with the new hua mein house!

    2. Some new guild doors! The old one is great, but doesn't go with some of the outdoor areas. How about some new ones to choose from?

Some alternatives would be nice, too. Like maybe a Cube to Guild Hall or a Curtain to Guild Hall. o_O

How about ARCHES as building blocks ;)

    Arches and triangles! :)

What I need are more Drink type items. It seems that all we have are empty glasses or Mugs full of hot drinks. I need some kind of Cool drink for my Beach Cabanas. Maybe a Tall glass of Lemonaide with a Little Umbrella in it! And maybe a Clear Glass pitcher filled with lemonaide, or Iced Tea.

I would also Love some really Elegant Looking tea sets. I Collect tea sets in RL, and would love to see a delicate bone china patterned tea set in game.

And sets of Utensils for dinner tables. You know how many times I had to do that darn quest in TS to get enough of each utensil for a place setting for 12 in my GH?

And what about a knife Block with Different types of knives? A hanging pan rack? Plates with food on them, possibly in different stages of consumption? Dessert bowls with Ice Cream and berries in them? Milkshake Glasses with different "Flavors" in them, each topped with whipped cream and a Cherry, and a straw in them?

(Can you tell I was hungry when I made this Post?)
  15. Uwkete-of-Crushbone Well-Known Member

LOL! You're making me hungry now... ;->

Folks have requested milkshakes and similar things for Erollisi Day; I can see those with one glass, two straws being very romantic (where you trust your date enough not to infect you by drinking out of the same ice cream soda or whatever); lots of the other holidays are getting plates of food, especially Brewday and Bristlebane's Day, but the more the merrier. Not sure where ice cream bowls would fit in, though I can easily see that, the lemonade, the other cold drinks, etc. coming online for the Fireworks Day kind of holiday in early July. Haven't participated yet, so I don't know if there are recipe books yet, but I think that'd be a great way to start them. :)

We could always use more tradeskill quests for house items (and crafting XP!); if we get enough out there, someday it might be as easy to level up crafting as it is adventuring (gasp!)... ;->

What I would LOVE to see would be loam materials either switching places with gemstones in the mining nodes (hard metals and gemstones make more sense in RL, and soft metals and "fluffy" loams together), or getting their own node entirely; if the latter, give us recipes for things like more house windows (T1->T10) and the ability to make the glass pitchers, drinks in glasses as house items, etc., all made out of glass using loams as primary materials. I'd personally love the ability to make a pair of spectacles as house items; for all you bookish sorts out there, like Sages, arcane casters, gnomes, etc., that'd probably go over well, and I wouldn't have to try and fake it with a couple of Teir'Dal Shot Glasses and some scaled down decorative Frostfell candy canes. ;->

Yes, that might have Carpenters competing with Alchemists and Tinkerers for the bloody loam materials, but on the other hand, it would justify getting the blasted things OUT of a real metal node... :-/

I started playing around with the water tiles today and I had a thought. Now that we have these tiles, could we possibly get our water in stair and railing dimensions? This would open up some possibilities for making cool water features.
  17. Uwkete-of-Crushbone Well-Known Member

Stair, railing, block, column...oh, yeah. ;->

Without collision would be interesting: either like the Steamlord Tapestry, or have the more "solid" pieces actually have the water physics! :)

Ok.. this has been mentioned before and I agree; to be able to use our dressers and wardrobes as actual containers (much like the depots) to place appearance items or old weapons/armor that looks to cool to sell to merchant or mute would be great! No more cluttering the bank vaults.. woohoo! :)

As far as plushies go.. we have several farm animals as both plushies and pets; we have pigs, turkeys, cows, ducks. How about chickens! I'd love to have them as both plushies and pets. A rooster plushie or even a pet hen with lil' chicks following her around.. that would be soooo cool! So in all, yes, we need more birds; and not just farm type ones!! :D

As for additions to kitchen/dinning goodies: bread baguettes (like the ones from The Vigilant). Making it a recipe for carpenters would be great!
  19. Uwkete-of-Crushbone Well-Known Member

That would be so cool! Chickens! I know someone requested the scuttling bugs from the Loping Plains Nights of the Dead mansion as a house thing; maybe a hen-and-chicks could be done like that. More birds: more parrots, more variety of birds of prey (sparrow hawk-colored birds the size of eagles? that's it?), heck, even pigeons in the major cities (what IS a major city without pigeons [one with unhappy, hungry falcons and hawks!]), and things like herons, storks, or egrets elsewhere. And nests! With eggs, without eggs, more variety than the round-hay-with-sticks, like in the GFay Moonlight Grotto places where you find the flower seeds. Sitting bird plushies (can be placed on a nest, or not), moving/flying around bird pets, etc.

But one thing: I know I'll ruffle a lot of feathers (heh!) with this, but I've always thought that food/drink type House Items, maybe not stoves, cauldrons, etc., but stuff you would cook/brew, maybe even the small tools you would use directly (pots, pans, muffin tins, spoons, rolling pins, etc.) should be another sort of thing that Provisioners could make. Carpenters get to make everything else, including the major appliances (stoves, brew stills, etc.); why shouldn't the people who really know what the stuff should look like get to make replicas of the stuff they make for a living? If nothing else, it'd give us more recipe books/tradeskill quests/real Advanced books. ;->

And I would like to see recipes for basic food items as well as things on plates: turkeys, hams, etc. without "decoration" so we could put them on spits, hang them from ceilings in smokehouses (fish are easy; the Frostfell stuff, not so much) and so forth without worrying about what to do with the plates, sides, etc. ;->
