The item in washing machines you might be thinking of is...\aITEM 435233900 -743513105:a glass distiller bottle\/a
I used that both in my washing machine and the water cooler of Bolet's House called Plushies & gadgets & shroomies oh my! For the washing machine it is on its side with the top part hidden in the washer. For the water cooler I had the item upside down with the top hidden in a half block.

Building blocks to match every tile in the game. :D

Probably...I just hope I can spot it before going through every category (though there are some logical things I can eliminate, like Rugs or whatever ;->). ;->

I'd like to see the crate that shows up in the preview window for Dungeon Maker effects as furniture:

I would love to see a special teleporter that you can hide inside an item like a fake cellar door or whatever and if you click it, it zones you to one specific teleporter (so basically no list) or even if you walk over it you are teleported to the other teleporter (again no list).

A true "trap door"! I was thinking of burying a portal/teleport pad under one of those "magic rocks" (great idea!) from the Moonlight Grottoes, but this would do well, too (and be more generally applicable...)! :)

As a matter of fact, considering what I'd like to do, it would actually work better than my idea... ;->

You can build a trap door. ^_~ One of the fall through rugs over a missing tile in a second story or over a cellar would work. I recomend a teleporter down there or you might not get a lot of votes. =P
Or you could make it a maze to fins a way out, or use walk through items to make it look like they are trapped (The Maj'Dull mirror, for instance. From the front it might look like a water feature, from in the pit-fall it would look like solid brass walls.)\
I haven't tried turning a door on it's side, but you might be able to set a trapdoor that way and click on it as people walk over. XD

Hmm...wasn't there a list once upon a time that had what all rugs and so forth were solid/visible from below/etc.? It was accurate as of its time, which was a while back... :-/

EQ2furniture lists under each rug whether it is solid from above, solid from below, and visible from below. It should be accurate, but if you do find any mistakes, please use the feedback button or find me in game so I can fix it.

The data's been tested, after Jazabelle did this to my Tenebrous island:

Awesome! The old-fashioned list got incorporated! Or...did you do the original list (literally just a list/chart; would've fit well into an Excel spreadsheet) in the first place, or was it great minds thinking alike? It was a looong time ago. :-/

I'd like screenshot-based paintings. The screenshot-into-game function already apparently exists, as you can take a custom screenshot for published houses. I'd like this function to be extended to where screenshots could somehow become paintings.

I think this function would be in high demand if it were available- guilds would want to decorate their GH's with custom portraits of their officers, progression milestones, and underwear dance parties. And likewise, if players could make their personal homes infinitely more personalized and unique with relatively little effort (compared to building from scratch), I think housing in general would become exponentially more appealing to casual players and hardcore decorators alike.

This could be accomplished a myriad of ways. The simplest thing I can imagine would be making some kind of consumable item, let's call it a "frame," that would become a painting when one bound a screenshot to it. Maybe this item could be looted off certain mobs (so you can take a group pic after killing Psyllon'Ris or whoever), or crafted, or bought for SC/loyalty points/status/etc, or given as a gold account perk- whatever. I'm sure SOE can figure out an arrangement for it that would deliver high value to players and themselves.

SHOW SOE IF YOU WANT THIS- LIKE IT! :D

    "Underwear dance parties"? :-/

I didn't make the original rug list; I made my own (with help from the Homeshow channel), but once I found most of the rugs, it was easy to check them standing upright like that - just run into each side and see what happens.

Plus, you could figure out which ones were visible from the other side? Brilliant! :)

Dark wood furniture items that are not rickety, but not as high-falutin as the new Highkeep items--something in-between casual and formal. We are especially lacking a dark wood stool and variety of really dark wood chairs to go with some of the older, attractive tables like the Dark Cedar Table:

While on the topic of tables, how about some less worn looking round/octagonal tables? For example, I love the Freeport Coffee Table shape, but would love to see something that looks less thrift store reject in terms of finish. ;)

I mentioned it on the Erollisi day wish list, but some more colorful couches and chairs that look like people might actually want to sit on them and less like church pews. Again, not too formal, like the eucalyptus lumber couches/chairs, but in similar jewel tones. I like the casual look of old, Briarwood Loveseat and chair, but not so much the dark green. It may not be poofy like the SC couches, but at least it has a back that leans a bit...more like a couch and less like punishment. :D

More light sources that give off as much glow as the Tuptan lights, but not quite as overtly yellow in tone. It still seems most light sources either give off no light, and the few we have often overdo it to extremes with tints. For example, I love the look of the Mystic Sconces, but put more than one in many spaces and it starts washing things out or makes for a LED headlight eyeball blast-out. @.@

For shapes, more table lamps, like the Kunzite Table Lamp with different colored shades would be swell. This one isn't a bright light source, but it does have superb ambient light. Please? Pretty please?

More statues that aren't dragons or scary critters from quests and raids, but humanoid, along the lines of the Frosted Statue of the Sisterhood--that are player made, instead of quest-only or from collections. The Fae Memorial Statue is also lovely example of style that's appealing. I feel like we need more of these even if they take rare use or holiday harvests, but not so dang rare that they are selling for a gazillion plat on the broker. I wouldn't mind some more abstract types too that don't look like you could impale yourself on them and that don't have flame or particle effects. :) Not everything has to look spiky and sparkly. I haven't put it in the Moonlight wish list, but it'd be nice to have them as a part of that or city fests too. Think garden-style statues. Heck, I'd take some critters that don't look like they'd eat us if they came to life. Birds? Stags? Flying squirrels?

I'd loooove to see some of the older carpets revived in less blah colors too. There are some excellent patterns there, but not a lot they go well with. The Broadcloth is one of my faves. The Coalition Ornate Rug has a good pattern too. Can we also have them not look too dirty or worn? These spiffy designs, in less washed-out earth tones please!

I'd also love to see something along the lines of the Linen Rug (remember when it was -the- rug?) in other tones that'd coordinate with the eucalyptus furniture, but not too matchy-matchy--colors pulled from the smaller thread details in those would be fab. For the love of all that is good, we need some purple rugs that aren't too froo-froo. Something that coordinates with the rich purple color of the Sumac King bed, purdy please? Rugs are like potato chips. WANT MORE, always!

And finally, can we have something that approximates a sink faucet without so much bulk? I am ever so sick of using axes and, while the pump for the syrup thingamajig is a stand in, that stump is clunky and the pump curve is extreme.

Above all else, I'd really love it if these things weren't SC items. While I will spend a bit here and there (and love all the creativity from fellow players), I hate seeing too many things as SC items when you know we are all hoarders and deco junkies.
