All of the above, plus the following:

A right-click option to turn house pets into plushies so that they can stay in one place.

Everything already listed here and in other threads as in-game PLAYER CRAFTED items, NOT sold on the SC store. Keep the store for houses, mounts, pets, plushies, services, but give the crafters the items they should have been making already. Smokejumper mentioned quite a while ago that they were looking into changing that, but nothing yet.

Well I think if you were going to actually do some type of gardening you should be able to choose what you want to grow, I think it should cost a little something for the seeds etc.

I also think you should have to tend to the garden each day. I wouldn't get to complicated with it though.

Pretty much my idea would be this:

Buy a tile of farm land - 2pp - each tile allows for 10 seeds ( 50silver a piece ) but you get to choose which seeds.

Once the tile is placed right click the tile and select "add seeds".

Once the seeds are added it should have a daily quest that allows for the speed up of the growth. Something simple. Craft a Hoe, or farm 10 loams of a certain tier.

It should take 10 days ( everyquest days ) to harvest, with each daily dropping the number of days by 1.

Also you should have to water it once a day as upkeep. ( human days to allow for people with jobs and such to still be able to do it. )

Should you miss a day you yield lower amount of mats, miss 2 days you get next to no mats, 3 days and you wasted all of your money.

I would also add someone ( like a merc ) that would tend to it for 30gold a day.

As far as the wardrobe... I was just hoping for somewhere to stash my appearance gear, however you could do a lot more with this.

You could allow the wardrobe to save outfits you have designed. And put a preview window next to the wardrobe. Im sure none of this will ever get implemented, meh wishful thinking.

OMG YESSS!!!! Having another use for Loams might actually get the Powers That Be to GIVE THEM THEIR OWN NODE!!!!!! :-D

You have NO idea how frustrated my Armorers (including yours truly!)/Weaponsmiths/Carpenters/etc. who need REAL METAL to show up get when all we have in our harvesting bags is like 87 various Loams and 2 Ores. And since "everyone" (certainly Tinkerers, Alchemists, etc.) uses tons of Loams, apparently, it shouldn't wind up turning into "cherry picking" (even if it does, give us new recipes, like windows for each crafting Tier that uses Loams for making glass, or a quest-giver to feed them to, like the halfling on the docks at Thundering Steppes). :-/

But yeah, getting back on topic, I like the idea of the intensive garden; most people nowadays who don't have gardens in RL on their own but just play things like Farmville have little idea of how much work they take. ;->

I would like to suggest adding recipes, either carpenter or artisan, that use both common and rare loam to make mounds of dirt.

Like the "grassy knolls"? That could have a purpose! :)

More uses for loams! More argument for Loam Nodes! :-D

    1. Be able to put things directly into the storage crate. Ie: have storage crate open and then be able to drag and drop things directly, without having to place, then right click, store in crate. Would work a lot like the depots.

    2. Housing better scaled to toons, not giants. ( I know not a new request )

    3. Housing boards: a way to list the Decorator when publishing the home. ( I know this isn't a new request )

    4. GREY DOORS! ( Maybe with Tinkerfest? though I would like to be able to craft them ) Something nice looking, not rustic, or dark.

    5. More rectangle doors period. Don't get me wrong, the Kelethin and Neriak ones are cool, but we ned more door options.

    6. Rugs / furniture / titles / buidling blocks that coordinate with each other. Even with the sumac stuff, there are sumac furniture that isn't the same color tone as the sumac building blocks.

Hmm...how's this for an alternate idea, if the thought of making separate nodes gives the devs hives? Just switch Gems for Loams; i.e., soft, silky Loams in the same Stone nodes as soft, flexible Metals, and hard Gemstones in with hard Metal Ores?

OOH! I have it! Another use for Loams (and another excuse for making them Nodes)!! Something that Provisioners could use more Loams for, and give them more recipes...

    ...wait for it...

...TOOTHPASTE!!! One type/flavor per tier! :-D
(and yes, societies back in the old days actually did care about their teeth, and took care of them, depending on which ones you're talking about ;->)

You all have listed so many good things. I dont repeat them all exept for the wardrobe, I NEED a wardrobe, and to be able to tilt the rooftiles without using the LayoutEditor. It is realy time for the game to get some of the exelent features that LayoutEditor has.

I would like if the Mirror of Reflected Achievements was made to a picture/painting of the carachter who owns it instead of a mirror and the posibility to place it in the guildhall. That would be a neat gallery of all the members in the guild plus easy access to the mirror.

I would like to see something like this lounge WITH pillows. Sometimes we just can't aford to accessorize . . . and the color is AWESOME. I want PURPLE stuff. This is just the chaise lounge but you could add chairs, cushions (sort of like the Erollissi footstools). . . .the whole kit and kaboodle. Maybe call it . . .The Queens Set!

    Scriptable Interactions
    • Plushie (NPC) dialog.
    • Doors that open only if a certain item is in the character's inventory.
    • Items that, when clicked/interacted with, put a flag on the character, and can be checked by scripts.
These are just initial ideas, and I'm sure it could be exanded. I'm basically thinking of a dumbed-down version of the actual quest system, maybe similar to EQ1 where there's no journal. Any steps at all toward a player-made quest system would be amazing, though, and I think it would work very well with the existing housing system. You could call it PlayerQuest. ;)

That would actually be kind of cool for the Player made Dungeons too!

Prob in this list somewhere, and I know I have definitely requested this before:

    Clear Glass Tiles (no borders)
Water Tiles (no borders) - similar to the misty tiles but water effect

YESSSS!!!!! Yes yes yes yes yes!! Real Water Tiles, or even Water Cubes/Blocks (stack them too high and you could drown in your own living room if not for the Home/End keys for swimming, or spells/totems)!!! Or at least, deeper water features than we have now. :-/

The Steamlord Tapestries are fine for a surface effect, and the Vampire Mirrors for tank walls and such, but what if you want to be able to swim with your shark plushies, or set up a "pool-side bar" like in the old movies, where one wall was glass and looked out under the swimming pool surface at the frolickers? If we can have mailboxes and booze sources in our houses, why not work on our Swim skill there? ;->

Plushies that we can customize the race, gender, and uniform of, similar to Guild Hall Guards. My Nerian House needs more guards, and a variety of them!
  19. Uwkete-of-Crushbone Well-Known Member

Harping on the Water thing again: more variety of water features, at lower tiers; if you want a "real" swimming pool, make something like the Paineel bathtubs big enough, when expanded to max. size, be able to swim around in. Or, make a house item with "glass" sides... ;->

Speaking of glass...while I love the interactive doors at the City Festivals (though some are a challenge to work around), one thing I'd definitely love to see, perhaps at the New Halas Festival, would be "ice" or "glass" interactive doors for our cold storage/refrigerator/freezer kitchen areas (if we don't already have them somewhere and I'm just missing them). Could be opaque-ish, could be more clear, could be "foggy," whatever works. Yes, I know we can just reach in for things if we use a Wispy Vampire Mirror for a door, but it would certainly add verisimilitude and "realism" to the whole thing. ;->

And it would look cool (pardon the pun)! ;->
