I want a way to create arches. some nice ones- the only ones we have right now are the forest ones and they don't do the job in a nice house. it would seem that with all the marble and other building blocks, dividers, etc, that they would have come out with some by now,. a curved piece that i can put with my other pieces would be nice- it could be iron, marble, or match the building blocks we already make- recipes would be especially nice, I am working with some mossy briarwood pieces to create a room below the entry area in the secluded sanctuary and would like to create archways there, Also if we could have some glass panes that we can see out of to create stuff like green houses, special windows, etc. that would be great too.

I'd love arches, they'd be awesome to have for my guild hall's Katta Castellum chapel.

I'd love to have a pane of glass tile (like the glass in the ornate display cases - slightly textured, but not foggy/misty) and a mirror tile.

I'd like to see some new versions of tradeskill machines.

You mean the crafting stations? Yeah, that would be nice; maybe some with more finished products off to the side or something for display (not that we don't have lots of options with the Stove and Keg for that, and even the Forge, but the Workdesk, for example, doesn't come with much more than works in progress)... :)

What I would LOVE to see, crafting stations-wise, would be Frostfell stations, of course. They could even be "gussied up" a bit, with red and green streamers wrapped around them or something, or display examples of what you could make on them nearby. And they should WORK throughout the year (or maybe not work during FF itself, so as to allay fears then)! ;->

For example, out in Cobalt Scar at one of the camps is a forge that looks like a forge we can craft, except it's an actual working forge. Then there are sawhorse type woodworking tables, forges that look like firepits in other places, stoves that are kettles hanging over a fire, and assorted other things scattered about the world.

I'd like to see functioning tradeskill tables in a variety of different styles.

Yes to more versions of the crafting stations. For sure need frostfell station (be nice if could combine all the frostfell stations into one station for our houses/guild halls). Also need a station for making gnomish spirits to go into houses/guild halls.

I would love to see some of the doors and windows found across Norrath to be available to us to craft. There is a dragon door (kind of a western like door) in Halls of Fate (I think, some of the dungeons in the Bonemire). There is a nice metal door for the Sage Tower in South Qeynos. The doors in Rivervale would rock for the Vale of Halfpint House. The big door with Orc head in DFC. These are just a few of the doors that come to mind but there are many many more. The windows in Freeport are nice, plus the ones in Loping Plains. Maybe some of the windows from buildings in the Kingdom of the Sky. Some more curtains would be awesome. Ones to go with the windows. Plus maybe some holiday themed ones. For example, a working curtain with cogs would have been awesome for tinkerfest.

That's one thing that's always confused me...when I first saw mention of working doors at the City Festivals, I got all excited, thinking, "Wow! Finally, we'll get round doors for the inside of Gorowyn and Kelethin places, and those weird curved pointy things for Neriak, and something that might actually take the curved beams in New Halas doorways into account, and -- what the heck are these things?! Sigh..." I'm really not sure what the devs were thinking with the designs, frankly; even the New Halas doors they came up with, though fugly, would still work better if they actually fit within the interior doorways. I wouldn't use them for a door to the outer porch in the 6-room, frankly, and I don't think anyone who was actually worried about cold air drafts blowing in past the driftwood door planks would, either. The pointy doors for Kelethin only work for the civic buildings; iirc, all the residential outer doors are round? Or am I misremembering; been a while since I went the long way into a GF house of mine. :-/

I actually am using one as an interior door in a decorating design, but that's only because I'm "sinking" it and turning it into a pyramid... ;->

terracotta tiles with and without a brick pattern. We have several terracotta colored house items in the Maj Dul style but it would be nice to have some teracotta builders to go with them.

I want a white bowl to match the plain white plate and cup from the Duggin quests. It would be really nice if they would continue the Duggin quests into the newer zones and add new reward items, such as a white bowl, platter, pitcher, etc.

I may have said it before, but I think it bears repeating: having the Cloudy Tiles and Starry Tiles from the Moonlight Grottoes as Blocks, Columns, Dividers, etc. The clouds wouldn't even have to "move," just continue the pattern/idea. :)

I don't know if this has been said, but I cannot count all the times I have wished for the darker wood of the halasian tile to be made into other building blocks, as all we have are the tile and a normal divider! I always thought that the color of it would go perfect in Mistmoore-themed homes, like the Crags Estate, but we don't have them, so /cry...

I also wish that they would make building blocks out of redwood, as all we have again are the tile and divider, and they would look so good in Gorowyn homes!

This may be an odd question (and possibly the wrong place to ask it), and/or I may just be dumb, but is there a list or something in EQ2 Furniture that has a category for items (weapons/armor/etc.) that can be converted to become House Items? I know all the Heritage Quest stuff can, and the stuff with the make-a-killer-bot at Tinkerfest, and the mint candy shields at Frostfell, but is there something I'm forgetting or missing? :-/

There's not a list (although I have most of the convertible stuff tagged), and it shows the non-furniture item with a link. I could add a category if that would actually be useful to people.

Meh, knowing me, it'd probably be an audience of one...I'll just have to gird me loins and look, I guess. :)

Thanks again for all your hard work on the website! Must've been a lot of long hours! :)

I've added a convertible category to show house items that turn into other items (either other furniture items, such as the fairy lantern, or less useful things, like weapons and armour). It excludes mounts, since all mounts are also furniture, and having them in there clogs things up.

If you (or anyone else) know of any others that aren't in the list, please let me know.

    Woot! Thanks! :D

After perusing it,it looks exactly like what I was hoping for! Thanks again! :)

This may be the wrong thread, but what have people been using for completely round windows/port holes? I've seen such things in "washing machines" and the like, I swear...clear, round things people can see out of, but can place, rather than have it be built in. :)

    You might find it here:

I can't think of what it is. It maybe an object you don't expect that as been turned on its side.
