Everquest Maps For Everquest maps there are two very good sites. For older Everquest maps up to VoA there is mapfiend.net And for newer maps for Rain of Fear, Call of the Forsaken and The Buried Sea try EQRESOURCE.COM Download the maps in ZIP format then unzip them either in your maps folder or a subfolder under your maps folder. For example D:Everquest/maps or D:/Everquest/maps/downloaded maps. If you use a custom folder under the maps folder you can change to that folder to view the downloaded maps by being in game, hitting M for maps then selecting the folder from the top left corner of your map screen Everquest Emotes You can also find a useful list of emote commands at EQResource.com (EMOTES) such as Agree You agree with [target]. You agree with everyone around you. Amaze You gasp at [target] in amazement. You are amazed! For a full list of emotes visit EQ Resource (Emotes) Everquest Commands Try this link at OnlineGameCommands.com for an extensive link of in game console commands for Everquest. General Information for NEW/RETURNING Players. General information for New and Returning players can be found here at Almar's Guides And there is also Allakazam.com and EQResource.com for information on a multitude of EQ things such as quests, mobs, gear and loot. Feel free to add links to the list. And that is how you share EQ information while making it clear who provided the actual information.
Also, for those into tradeskilling, eqtraders.com is a good place to go for that info. If you also need to do searches as to what is the best gear/augs/etc for your toon, go to raidloot.com and do a search.
For those interested in the Lore of Everquest, a user on the /r/everquest subreddit gave a pretty concise run down of the lore up to Call of the Forsaken. Here's a good FAQ for both new and returning players, touching on what has changed since House of Thule (and later expansions). Here is a good quest for an easy-to-get 20 slot/100% weight reduction bag, which requires you to gallivant across norrath.
