The maps in the below thread are far superior to most of the ones available elsewhere, not to mention you can get everything in a single download: Old maps that you dislike and would want to see remade Look for the links in the last few posts for the latest. Also, setting up an additional maps directory as mentioned is helpful.
Why doesn't my cleric Mercenary have the addition to his symbol "ward of the ardent" that ALL player Clerics have in their spell line up (and they do not need any additions)
A merc's casting strategy is simplistic; there's lots of things that a cleric can do that a merc healer can't. Programming one to be smart enough isn't a solvable problem. Hence the missing Ward casts.
www.goberserker.com Although rarely visited these days, it's still a wealth of information for berserkers. I still browse the forums quite often there.
Some good TBM starter links in this thread https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq/index.php?threads/broken-mirror-newbie-guide.231759/
Thought it would be a good thing to resurrect this thread with a post about Fanra's Wiki a great place for EQ info. In particular if you are looking for in game maps and how to use the maps check out this link to Fanra's wiki map page http://everquest.fanra.info/wiki/Maps I suggest creating sub directories under your Everquest/maps directory and download a few of the different versions of the maps. In particular I recommend Goodurdens and Brewalts maps with links listed on Fanra's page. Goodurden has a few maps sets that are very useful. Brewalt maps cover some older stuff Goodurdens doesn't. Both are good map sets. If you set up each map set in it's own directory under the Everquest/maps one you will be able to switch between map sets at will. Not only is this convenient as sometimes one map set will be better then another for different purposes but if your maps get glitched in game you can usually fix that by changing between one map set to another then back.
Just read about this link when reading the daybreak twitter feed. It helps explain how to open a petition under their current petition system. https://help.daybreakgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/218172118-How-do-I-get-help-
Most links are still valid. Also good to note that for older content an allakazam one year subscription is only 10 dollars now.
Also looking forward the videos for newbie Moogs talked about creating in another thread. Those will be well worth linking here.

Useful link listing many Everquest commands http://www.jaburt.com/eq/index.htm FROM THE SITES MAIN PAGE: Are you: Fed-up being unaware of what each command does? Fed-up not finding a central resource for all commands? Fed-up suddenly finding a new command which you been "wishing for" for ages? In need of some GINA Audio Triggers? ...then this is the place for you!
