    Going by previous itemization 12 item loot tables are fairly common: 9 "class" templates, Pet Ear, Class Charm, Prog Charm.

    50 Wins on Defense of the City in a year, current expectations:

    Based on previous raid itemization with even Sep5 having the same loot amounts as Sep1 in the same tier but even Kevin Bacon couldn't connect the difficulty or length of the events, the expectation is currently that the 5 non-bonus raids have similar amounts of drops of Cultural augs, Weapons and Spells and in 250 non-bonus raid wins in a year:
    • 115 Cultural augs or 14 full sets + 3 pieces
    • 375 Weapons
    • 690 Spells
    Plan/bid accordingly until new information is available.

    So on the "bright" side weapons are in abundance and if you can beat at least 1 one-off raid most weeks Belt slot is pretty well set. Of course both of those are just raw number of drops and it's still possible you will get screwed on something specific like War, h2h or Priest Weapons or have a lot of people bidding/asking for 1 or 2 proc belts and alts looting others.

    On the "not so bright" side, pretty much everything else. A sample size of 3 seems small but it's already at these likelihoods for armor drops per win:
    • ~4% of equal chance at 1, 2 or 3 drops (avg 2 per win)
    • ~6% of having a guaranteed drop and 50% chance each at 2nd and 3rd (avg 2 per win)
    • ~23% of having equal drop rate to the displayed drop rate Defense has shown in 31 samples
    Unless you get a lag spike when all the chests spawn after defeating Arx5 there has been a radical reduction in the amount of loot.     Sure do, why neither the reduction in drop rates or lack of communication was the least bit surprising. The fact that he (or someone using his account) posted that in a thread titled "lack of transparency" pretty much perfectly sums up a lot of things.

    So, event 1 drops only gloves, and usually 2 pairs. And events 2-4 drop only 1 piece, and either favor arms or maybe it's a random between wrist/arms/head/feet/legs. That makes... zero sense!

    And the "best" part is that this is looking through the prism of RoI who will presumably have exactly 3 more wins on Arx1 than any of Arx 2-4 and exactly 6 more wins on Arx1 than Arx5.

    Inverse, SoD and Triton are Wave 2 of the guinea pigs, I think they will all beat Arx 2-4 by Monday, if those guilds don't beat all 3 raids the "mid-tier" guilds could easily end up with a really large pile of Gloves relative to other slots both from working on first wins of Principal raids and any bad week in 2015 that gets them 1.6 Gloves and not necessarily much other armor.

    The guilds with a large number of low attendance members will have to do even more event 1 kills to flag enough people to progress, and the deficit of everything but the gloves will be even more staggering for them.

    Remember way back when we complained about not enough weapons? I think they are still punishing us for complaining. Of course on the good side all the rotting weapons help refill guild tribute.

    An Enc Range item dropped for Inverse Logic on Arx2 so Enc Ear is likely missing from Arx1 because something had to be cut to make room for Pet Ear and 2 Charms. Wonder which class got cut on the 9 "class" Mask, Hate Mask and 2 Charm loot table.

    I'm going to start doing a lot of steroids so I can wear Belts around my Neck and Wrists.

    This will probably be unpopular but here goes anyway.

    Way back during Velious/Luclin/PoP it was a real treasure to get a raiding type spell. For example KEI and Aegolism were raid spells. Many chanters and clerics went without these spells for a very long time. In some cases mid range guilds didn't have access to these spells for an expansion or two. The guild as a whole had to choose which cleric got aegolism, who got kei and other spells.

    Was it tough taking down mobs in Ssra without Khura's? Oh heck ya! Was it possible? Yep!

    So now that we've had easy mode for awhile the dev's might want us to revert back to Velious/Luclin/PoP days where putting up a strat mattered rather than typical mudflation will allow automatic wins eventually.

    Does every class use every single spell or can you not pick what raid spells you want i maybe use 10 to 14 spells max and basically only 6 to 8 of them are a real priority

    You can pick, its just the fact only 2 dropped per raid. Now prioritize what class is getting the drop for what spell and on down for needed raid buffs and well you see the fun in it.

    2 spells - we been seeing just 1 spell per chest which is just a complete slap in the face - what happened to getting 4 spells per chest ....

    Spell runes in main raids are dropping like the CotF runes, where each class only had 4-5 spells.

    From the first raid, we saw tonight

    Shaman/Necro ear, Rogue 1hander, tank bow, gloves, rare belt, and 3 x lesser runes.

    COTF raids dropped four runes each and every class only had about five spells to get. These raids are dropping one rune where every class has about fifteen spells to get. It's silly.

    I wish I saw some rank II drops as well in the group game too.
