The exp in ToV feels like it was another way to encourage people to play together. Those who grouped, leveled fast, as it should be. I actually preferred it to grinding, by a large margin. Grinding is boring boring boring, I like to do new things in an expansion, not just kill new and different mobs over and over and over.
yea most raiders get it that fast as there hardcore and want max xp as fast as possible but for the casual grouper its tougher. Andarriel
Are you completely insane ? Level increase expansions suck! You get garbage copy&past, barely noticeable, 'increases' to existing abilities while the mods you are fighting literally double in everything, HP, Mana (not that that matters), new abilities, etc, etc. The only thing that isn't massively increased is the xp from them. So, basically, players become WEAKER vs mobs
Go grab an SK between 111 and 114 with 30k AA and have them tank Icebound. Tell me how well that works for you.
Did that, numerous times. Real players were playing though. Group outside of your bot grp and you might have a better experience.
Explain how it is any dif either aay pls ? Because what u just said works both with or with out lvl i creases..
I never called out a ToV nerf, just pointed out the obvious outlier of how experience was distributed in ToV. I did suggest that exp should distributed more uniformly across all of progression, instead just putting the bulk on four missions. I do believe they will lose lots of players if they continue down this path.
A dev already explained this. AAs, Abilities, and Spells are indeed upgrades, but they inflated HPs and Mitigation. So comparatively speaking, your characters do less DPS on current content, then previously. However, this does make old content easier.
I leveled one of my characters to 115 without doing the quests. Really there was just more options on how to level.
When there is no level increase there is at least a slight chance that we may get something 'new' as opposed to simple copy&paste. Also, the mobs we are fighting don't get the insane increases associated with them getting 5 more levels.
The content was not hard if you could form a group. It's a social game. Join a guild or form some social connections.
My mercs seem to do less (after the nerf many months back) but I don't feel it's harder to kill a ToV named than it was to kill a TBL named. In fact they're usually easier.
