    The Blue Lanterns can actually heal any of the Lantern Corps members. Its not just for healing Green Lanterns. It does however only power up Green Lanterns. In the Green Lantern New Guardians Saint Walker uses his powers of Hope to reconstruct Arkillo's tongue that Mongul had ripped out. He also helped heal the members of the team after they went head on with the Guardians in Issue 4.

    Also, I've posted at least a hundred times now in various threads about Lantern rings' powers and agree with you 100%. I've even used that example a few times.

    Its from the comics, theres a possible future (pre-52) when sodam yat is the last Lantern and Guardian left in the universe. When he decides to intervene when Superboy Prime returns, thats the oath he uses to charge up ten rings to go fight him.
