The Mange managed to shrug off a cheap shot, and Mattie, who is stronger, gets knocked out?
Nah, their script writers need to go to the Marvel School of Story-telling, not Hollywood's School of Hack Writers

If Lacy really is a former Marine, then this persona they gave her is utter stupid: a Southern Belle with lace and manners, sipping mint juleps on a manicured lawn is almost the complete opposite of a hardened Marine, unless they are going with the Shell Shocked Vet angle

Once again, I don't question Vince's logic. My understanding is Vince keeps changing everything at the last minute or even while the shows taken place. Why WWE went into the dumps, he sabotaging his own product. He is the main reason nothing makes sense any more.
  3. DarkVisor 15000 Post Club

Raw seems to have all the action, Smackdown has all the talk, at least, that is how it is packaged for us (we only get one hour each per week, fortunately they are both on the same night, and repeated the next morning :D)

can hardly stand the main roster stuff. NXT feels many miles ahead. there is almost never ever a bad match. the storyline isnt overly dramatic & theres been countless talent that has arrived from it (Especially every member of the shield) maybe once vince dies, The mainstream product will be as good as nxt is, with Triple H & Shawn Michaels handling NXT, its noticeably different than anything the main roster has going. & once the main roster pulls up these huge stars (looking at you Shinsuke) they have 0 clue how to book them, & they get hung out to dry & eventually leave the company (Neville)

Completely 100% agree with you. she could legitimately be billed as a total powerhouse that can actually wrestle unlike Ronda Lousy. from what i hear, shes going to be 1 of the women WWE intends to push if Botcha Banks leaves the company, & if thats the case, she needs to be believable

I seriously question why they fumble these big nxt teams as well, u have Sanity, AoP, & even The Ascension (they were credible at 1 point & the longest reigning nxt tag champs) & 2/3 of those teams have fallen flat on the main roster, with Akam being hurt ill give AoP a pass. but still. if you havent seen Killian Dain wrestle, that big boy can go. hes being completely underused. however.. Eric Young is now on Raw, & Wolfe has gone to NXT UK,sooo maybe Killian's big break is now. his wife might even do something with him as well if she sticks to smackdown
  7. DarkVisor 15000 Post Club

Cereally? Do they have two different script teams who never communicate with each other for both shows? o_O
On cRAW you have Minnie Mac attacking the Miserable Sack and showing an image of Sack's father, the same father Minnie beat up, and then on Shmuckdown you have Minnie attacking Reigns for daring to punch "An American Icon" and ranting about 'how dare he lay a hand on someone's father!', considering half the roster are dads...

Butt then again, you have Styles praising the RAW fans as being the best (or loudest, or something), as though people can't be fans of both shows seeing how they are supposed to be the same company

Yeah, do know the old joke about how fans of 'wrasslin' were idiot hicks, butt with the storylines lately, makes one wonder who really are the idiots?

Well at the end of the day Vince has the final say so. Either two things are happening,, either creative team comes up with something pretty good and Vince goes ahead and changes it because it was too good. Or if Vince is changing, can't imagine what creative is coming up with. Either way, the shows are going down hill.
  9. DarkVisor 15000 Post Club

Of course Vinnie has the final say, doubt they would have gotten away with him getting KO'd without his OK
It's just, they are treating the fans as morons, and, the fact they keep tuning in and paying to show up, kinda implies they are correct :(
  10. DarkVisor 15000 Post Club

Okay, saw Braun had his chance taken away from him (again), no real surprise, other than was expecting it to happen after Money in the Bank
  11. DarkVisor 15000 Post Club

How the fronk'n'wiener could Lesner win the Money in the Spank title, if he wasn't even listed as being a participant? You can't just take out one of the competitors and then show up at the end of the match!

Seeing Foley again, and talking about a new title, initially gave me hope for the return of the SoftHardcore Belt. This 24/7 Belt is a joke! A bunch of low-levels nobodies (and some oompa-loompa looking manager) play 'keep-away' for five minutes, before yet another nobody comes out of nowhere to 'win' the belt, then scurries off with the rest of them following like rats after the Pied Piper, only to have another nobody trick the rats into going back the way they literally just came from!! before betraying the previous nobody and then speeding off in a stolen car! So much for defending it anywhere and anytime!!!

Have always been a Bailey Believer and happy that she managed to end Queen B(itch)'s title run within minutes :D And beat her again less than two days later :D
Not normally a hugger, butt declare self the new 24/7 Hug Champion and Bailey can challenge me Any Time, Any Where, Any How ;)

First one? It was in the script. LOL

Second point? The only real difference between what you described and the ongoing saga that was the Hardcore title years ago is that weapons/foreign objects were allowed in the Hardcore title matches. Most of those matches were mad scrambles all over the arena (especially backstage) by wrestlers who were low to mid-card level wrestlers.
  13. DarkVisor 15000 Post Club

Well, yeah, of course it was scripted, guess should have really asked how they expected the fans to believe it, butt then again, the fans don't really seem that smart (at least not the ones who show up at the 'live' shows)

The reason called it the SoftHardcore Belt is, because compared to the old WCW Hardcore division, WWF considers the hardest core to be a steel chair! At one of the WCW Main Events, they literally used a kitchen sink!!

AEW all the way. Im glad wrestler like Dustin Thomas and Orange Cassidy was in a ppv match

Are Rollins and The Man an 'item'? Why did she accompany him in the ecnalubma after the staged attack by Beastie Boy? o_O

Probably never gonna happen, butt hopefully someone will mudhole Mini Mac (mum actually wants McIntyre to do it :D )
  17. DarkVisor 15000 Post Club

Anyone know anything about a new 'superstar' named Travis Banks?

And if they don't like Stroman and don't ever want him to get a title, why not just fire him instead of putting him through so much crap every week?

Okay, 'The Man' and Rollins are a couple (well, in a threeway relationship with her belt anyway o_O )
No idea who that 'Maria' person was, butt knew she was going to pull some pregnancy angle from the start, a fake pregnancy angle at that

This is a problem for me: we only get an hour show per week and they keep bringing in characters that the fans are expected to know and either already love or hate
  18. willflynne 10000 Post Club

Five hours in the US. Three on Monday night for Raw, two on Tuesday for Smackdown. Though the air day for Smackdown might be changing this fall, the FOX network is going to be carrying Smackdown then. Dunno if they'll still do it live, either.

If you're only getting an hour, you're getting a rather condensed version of either show. But given how hit and miss the product can be lately, that might be for the better.
  19. DarkVisor 15000 Post Club

It's just, they keep referring to tings that happened the previous week that didn't get shown, or, worse, most of the hour we get is filled with boring talking crap
Reminds me of back in the WCW days: Nitro had about five matches per weekly hour show, RAW barely had three with the rest of the hour filled with boring talking crap

And say what you will about WCW, personally found that show to be a better product: they were more entertaining and they hid their scripts better (or maybe the stars were simply better actors), except for that one time when Sting got set on fire: knew it was a script because Sting never wore a t-shirt to the ring, just his Stinglet. Heck, even the "Finger Poke of DOOOM!" was entertaining: anyone not an idiot knew it was fixed and just further nWo shenanigans

I just have to say, AEW has been quite enjoyable.
