I don't really think Deadpool would work in the regular X-Men continuity.

The teaser thing is great, though.

He doesn't seem to work well in the regular comic-Universe either (and that's not counting the time he killed the entire Universe)

Soooo, once again we feel the need to PC things up a bit.

    Yup, seems like it :(

Don't mean to be racist or anything, but 'Neena Thurman' sounds 'white' to me, maybe Latino (have occasionally thought she may have some sort of South or Central American heritage, maybe Caribbean, but never African)

Just watched the teaser trailer. Pretty funny. Zip it Stan Lee! lol. Kind of morbid with the mugging but that's Deadpool for ya. How were they able to use the Superman theme song I was wondering. Can't post link though because as Cap would say language!

Yeah that's Wade for you, lol. Best best FOX paid some royalties to use the Superman song similar to how they made a deal with Marvel to use Nega Sonic Teenage Warhead

    So many cool easter eggs.

It's so funny how people are jumping to Nathan Fillion being in the movie because of some Firefly posters on a wall. Of course they are completely forgetting about Morena Baccarin, as she played Inara Serra in the show and the follow up movie.
It's a family connection thing. The woman who has produce all the Xmen movies, Lauren Shuler Donner is married to Richard Donner, who's company produced all the Superman movies. Which could have given them some kind of backdoor rights to the stuff.

Stan Lee always seems to have some cameo in all Marvel movies these days. But he didn't really have anything to do with the character. I was surprised nothing mentioned about Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza. They were the creators.

It's a requirement to have Stan in every movie, think there's some contractual thing no matter what studio is producing it.

He has been in almost every live action Marvel movie since the 80s. He's had cameos in 32 big screen movies, 1 TV movie and 5 TV shows, and then there's all the animated works.

I believe both names were in the first movie and this was only a short teaser, so it was only giving hints for what's to come and of course jabs at other current things.

I don't remember seeing Stan Lee in Logan.

As for the "Superman theme", I don't know who owns it. I think I've heard it else where. It would make sense for a composer to stipulate they get to keep the rights to their song.

Josh Brolin Is Deadpool 2's Cable

After what’s felt like ages of speculation, a contender out of nowhere has apparently swooped in to take on the role of Deadpool’s time-traveling best bud: Marvel movie alumni Josh Brolin appears to be Deadpool 2's choice for Cable.

The news, first reported by THR, indicates that Brolin—whose name was never mentioned amid the Cable-casting speculation that’s been ongoing for the past year—has snagged a four-movie deal to portray Cable in the likes of Deadpool 2, X-Force, and other mutant movies in Fox’s stable of Marvel heroes. Presumably, this came after a deal with recent frontrunner Michael Shannon fell through.

Brolin is a familiar name to comic book movie fans—aside from starring in the pretty turgid DC comics adaptation Jonah Hex as the titular cowboy hero, Brolin is perhaps better known currently as the voice of Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is due to appear in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War as the Mad Titan. Aside from menacing the Avengers, it looks like Brolin will be teaming up with the Merc’ with a mouth on the big screen too.
