Does anyone even care about MLG

No.

It has already gotten plenty and all we're getting out of is negative press (which contrary to popular opinion is not better than no press at all), a lot of founding players moving on because this isn't the game they signed on for, and fanboys like you that demanding MORE time, attention and resources thrown into this black hole.

MLG is a poor fit for this game, and the people that say otherwise tend to share your attitude and priorities. By that, I mean it's not a big loss if abandoned it.

Playing competitive matches is fun.

Watching them is terrible.

Pointing out that it needs tons of work (which it does) is not the same thing as supporting it

It doesn't "need" tons of work if SOE eventually gets wise, throws its hands up, and starts trying to salvage what's left of a charming niche product that does have people willing to play and even pay for it once it stops trying to clone every other shooter out there.
