[Suggestion] Dalton - the new AA and the ultimate gunship.

We're not scared. Shooting an ESF with a dalton is the most difficult thing to do in this game. If you want this removed, go look up Daddy's KD and start a thread to have him removed from the game because he's OP.

Laughable BR 100? You have no idea what you're talking about. Go look me up before you start mouthing off like you know who I am or what I do.

My point still stands. If you die to a Dalton you lack the skill/knowledge to stay away form a Liberator with a good Dalton gunner. There's no desperation in my post as it's full of logic and common sense, but it's clear those aren't qualities you possess.

I don't love listening to myself talk, I love clowning people like you that want to nerf weapons because the users have more skill than you do.

While Libs shouldn't blow up in a few seconds of fire like those Heinkels, it's unrealistic to think Libs should be able to theoretically blow up ESF after ESF with Dalton rounds and it totally destroys the concept of any combined arms game in the air. It's interesting as hell to see that there are Lib crews out there who have spent hundreds of hours perfecting such a niche role, but at the end of the day it becomes one of the most meaningless things you can do in PS2. Daltoning ESFs is the most worthless thing you can do in this game. Every A2A Dalton Lib you see is 2 potential ESFs which could have much more of an impact on an empire's superiority in the air.

how is it new? I think it's you who is new, and need to learn to fly. I haven't been taken down by a Dalton in ages, and not because I'm avoiding libs.
If you expect to solo a lib with crew of 2-3 experienced players, that's your problem right there.

The "reverse" part is just a stupid name of the maneuver, invented by someone who failed to foresee something that sounds OP by name will be nerfed even though it's not.

Tbh i think hacks would be completly useless for Dalton's considering drop/lead you need to hit stuff. (im pretty decent at nailing ESF but that is years and years of practise with air rockets in games like UT and Q3)

You accuse the guy of overwhelming bias, while in your op you clearly want to turn the Lib into a nice flying XP pinata with little to no chance of survival against ESF. You obviously gettin too close on numerous locations to the daltons kill zone and you obviously die to it and you obviously doesnt like that at all.

You need better skills if you get your ESF Daltoned, sorry bub at this point in the game if you got hit by it the LAST thing you need is to open a "Nurf Dalthun" thread instead of stay nice and quiet and swallow the embarrassment. If you dont have the skill to evade the Dalton, then do what other less talented pilots do, go and put up A2A missiles and use them from max distance and laugh.

As for your buff the tailgun argument I kindly direct you to the current ESF update plan threads! Go and read them and when you finsih please walk me through how an updated tailgun (unless its a darn skyguard turret with Vulcan firerate) will save the Lib from extinction!

Alternatively you could prove how boss you are and how lil skill the ESF killing Dalton takes, and record a video where in one Libs life you take out 2-3 ESF's. I'm pretty sure most of the still dedicated pro Lib pilots would be more than happy to offer their libs gunner seat so you can show us how its done.

- ESF cost 250 Air Resources, Liberators cost 350 Air Resources.

- ESF is solo, Liberators are usually 2/3, intended to be 3/3 ergo Liberator crews are utilising teamwork, the ESF pilot is not. ESF pilots SHOULD be flying formation and teaming up to kill hard targets like crewed Liberators, not soloing.

- It takes insane skill to flip a Lib over and allow the gunner to successfully land a single, falling shot on a fast moving target from a moving platform. Give them the credit, at least. It does feel cheesy though, I know.

- I've said it before, you know the tail gun is borked when Lib crews have to resort to using the belly gun as A2A defence. This is why it seems cheesy. It shouldn't be this way, but because of poor design, players have found an unexpected solution.

- Good ESF pilots don't fly under Libs, or near them. They pick away at them from a stand off distance. Also, don't go head-to-head, the CAS30 will win EVERY time. What does all this mean? It actually takes SKILL for a single ESF pilot to bring down a crewed Liberator!

*I'm an ESF pilot (Reaver) hardly ever been in a Lib and even I can concede this point!

Right, in that case, remove the rocket pods for ESFs and give the nose guns a hefty nerf against ground targets. And by hefty i mean 10 magazines to kill a tank from the rear and a whole magazine to kill infantry.

Then we can talk about ESF being AA. Untill then, shut it.

You need to reread the post. I said a Lib should not be able to kill the skilled ESF like the guy I quoted to start. If you think an Average lib pilot should be able to kill AA ESFs with a A2G weapon then I think I am going to leave this thread before everyone starts crying and flaming.

Now this is laughable. You're the one who brought up someone stats in the first place to justify a stand point. Then you call someone a clown for doing the same in return. You do realise by doing this that you are calling yourself a clown as well. As for ranting on the forums... err derp. oh and btw i dont like your thread as much as you don't like my post. especially because you talk like liberators own ESFs everytime. but it's completely the other way around. liberators are already weak enough when one ESF pops up, let alone a whole group. all it takes are some volleys from the rotary to set the liberator on fire. the belly gun of the liberator is useless and the dalton is the only thing they can defend themselves with. but you want to make them even more useless at that? good thing you dont work at SoE. you probably got owned by libs and made this whinethread about it, how mature

Lib pilots dont use Dalton's, Lib gunners do... (Cas 30 will f... you up though as it should)
