The Nyx is, all-around, the best gun in the game right now between all of the classes. The possibility for a 6x scope and no bullet drop, with decent velocity, lend itself to be an excellent sniping weapon. While with the other attachments, it works as one of the strongest weapons at close-range that there is. It literally has a use in every situation.

But one thing the OP forgot to mention, and no one else in this thread seems to realize, is the gun is extremely hard to use. This spec should not have been recommended to the general public, especially not on the forums. If you do try this spec as someone random from the forums, do not get discouraged at failing. This build takes a lottt of practice with to pull it off, and may be impossible to truly replicate.

i understand how difficult this spec is to pull off, but what do you mean it may be impossible to replicate?

Hard to use? You are hip firing for goodness sake. Any half decent infiltrator can pull it off.

Any half-decent infiltrator like you can pull it off, and you walk around with your 1.3 K/D and feel like a champ. The guy who posted this thread has almost a 15 K/D with that weapon and setup. Everyone on the server knows him and how good he is, anyone like you who tries to replicate the build is going to fail and constantly bring your pessimism and negative comments into the thread about how this sucks or this doesn't work. This is why I said it was a bad idea to post this on the forums, no one will be able to replicate it, meaning that people won't play it properly like he does, because not one person in here has listened to what he's said for the reasons why. They come in here and spout nonsense and incorrect statistics about other guns and the thread gets derailed and that is that.
