[Actually serious] Maxes should be deleted from Planetside 2

    Only for pure infantry players who refuse to accept this is a massive all out warfare game and vehicles were created specifically to bring an advantage to battle.

    Vehicles are fine and have to deal with just as much MAX garbage as infantry, just because Maxes are broken and need to be fixed doesn't mean we feel the same about everything else.

    No, for people who are looking for something that takes actual skill to use. Vehicles vs infantry do not. Tanks in particular are so stupidly OP and easy mode I cannot comprehend how anyone can argue in their favor. At least it takes a bit of dedication to not crash an ESF into the ground, tanks don't have even that.

    Before a deletion I'd like to make MAX's non-revivable and see how that effects things first ..

    They won't get deleted.

    Let's look t this from an objective point of view. Daybreak isn't going to delete a source of revenue. No company spends money to reduce its income.

    So let's talk about tweaks instead of nonsense.

    I know that which is why it's pointless talking about it as a subject .. Hence why I'd prefer to talk about removing the revive ability before " deletion " is even contemplated as an option for discussion ( valid or not ).

    I like those ideas, though I think the time to code all that in and not to mention debugging two million lines of code would probably make the poor devs head spin.

    It should never be contemplated for discussion. It's as ridiculous as wanting anything removed.

    I'd be up for that yeah. I like the idea of raising their survivability and lowering damage as well.

    Well personally I think they're fine but tweaks can make things more interesting.

    If they were that easy and op, why are there so many bad tankers?.

    The level of skill needed for things is completely subjective. If something is easy mode and op, it would make rubbish players really good.

    There are as many bad tankers as there are bad everyone. The issue here is how rewarding a role is for the said bad player.

    Get a bad player, stuck him with SMG infiltrator, tell him to go kill people and give him an hour.
    Get a bad player, stuck him in a HE tank, tell him to do the same. Who will get more kills during that hour? I think the answer is obvious here.

    What about such a source of revenue as a happy customer? If MAXes make people leave, and they do, that "deletes" source of revenue too.

    Will you quit ****posting for once.

    Tanks have had their Anti-Infantry neutured to the point of near-uselessness, and are easily countered by C4 and Heavies.

    Same thing with MAXes, the issue with them is their force multiplier. They're actually quite fragile.
