Sad news.. Haldenal just got a message to me that due to a funky barrel of beer he is out of commission until Wednesday January 27 2015 at 900 PM PT.

Oh, lol, it was late and I was tired and did not realize Eleressa had already posted that the guide had to change dates for the event when I edited my last post. Glad to know I have not missed Haldenal then, but that the meeting has only just been delayed by a few days.

Furyi, Haldenal will be in Antonica on Wednesday January 27, 2016 at 900 PM PT. That funky brew did him in good, it wasn't a pretty site.

Thank you for the guide quests this week! I managed, somehow, to show for them despite my inept ability to read and to convert time properly. I made so many mistakes regarding these guide events, I'm only glad someone did not decide to blast me for misleading them, hehe. Well, at least I 'tried' to share the correct info with them, though I failed quite miserably.

I mentioned in Homeshow chat that my parents should have named me Ditzy, lol. Wow, I don't think I've made that many mistakes in quite some time.

Love the new lamp and the Winter Lager and muffins too. For some reason, I saw Haldenal's name and got it in my mind that he was to be in Butcherblock to give out the ax quest, even though this forum clearly states he will be in Antonica and there was no mention of axes and a very clear mention of booze. Sorry Sandx, Vasciagio, and Aaidenn. :/

Been sampling that ale? Glade you ran into Haldenal, but Braxxel is his axe crazed cousin. I'm sure he'll be out looking for more axes soon. If I hear I'll let you know.

may be the weather down here, but i have been falling asleep around 4pm and waking up around midnight - my sleep patterns are messed up. so i have missed several quests i really wanted to do. hopefully i get that all straightened out soon so i can enjoy guide quests again.

I can totally relate, Fyuri. I have messed up my sleep patterns several times over the last year or so, and it's just so hard to get back into a regular sleep pattern when that happens. I am generally a night owl type person, but have to get up early to watch my grandkids most days anymore and I can barely stay awake throughout the day, but when it gets dark, it's like all my fatigue goes away and I'm wide awake again. Yet if I nap in the afternoon, then I will be up all night long, so I haven't been permitting myself any afternoon naps. I still don't get to bed until around midnight or 1am, but at least I am getting some sleep. The only day I get to sleep in is Sunday, and I end up sleeping until noon, to make up for all the lost sleep during the week.

Nice! You guides have been really keeping us entertained lately, and I think we are going to get spoiled, hehe. Not that I am complaining. I love it! Although, 9pm pst is kind of late for me, so I am not sure I will be making it tonight, though I will try.

Just letting everyone know, I haven't forgotten about you. Six apprentices are keeping me busy. Let's plan Home and Guild Hall Tours for February 26th, from 3-5 PM Pacific Time. See you all then!

1) You as the owner of the home or a member of the guild must be there to show me around. Guides cannot enter homes or guild halls unescorted. (I guess we turn into Freebloods temporarily!)

2) I simply log in and announce I am ready to start. Then I write down the names of the people who let me know that they want to show their homes. We go in the order that I receive the names. It takes about 20 - 30 minutes to get through a tour of a guild hall or home.

3) Everyone is welcome to come along on the tours. It's fun!

4) Everyone is invited to show their home or guild hall. One home or one guild hall per person per tour. It's fine if your home is not published. Please be ready to give very clear directions to your home in the general channel, whether published or not, when your turn comes.

5) Say nice things. Encourage new decorators. We all started somewhere.

6) No stories are told. No quests are done. This is simply for the pleasure of hanging out with other decorators and getting new ideas, encouraging each other, and having fun.

7) Just let me know when I am in game, and I will add your name to the list. Or contact me in the forums, via private message.

Thank you, Norika, for letting us know in advance. Fridays are usually pretty busy for me, watching my grandkids most of the day, but I don't foresee any problems. I might be a bit late though, depending upon what time my daughter arrives to pick up the kids, and if she decides to go straight home or come in to visit before leaving. Btw, the owner of my home is my alt, Pvsspvss N'Boots so she will, based on my understanding, be the one who has to lead you through the home.

I enjoyed the races in The Thundering Steppes. Many of my low level adventuring characters were able to get there first usable mount. YAY.
