    I think this is good encounter design overall.

    The difficulty is somewhat hard to gauge b/c it is so laggy and this encounter is trivialized with more dps.

    Wow Ritualist got nerfed hardcore with this latest patch whole encounter is just lulz now.

    It was a good change.

    A mob being immune to one of the two damage dealing archetypes for 40% of it's health is excessively punishing.

    Bad change and complete nerf. Nearly same difficulty as inquisitor. 4s scout weapon stats are messed up btw. Low dmg rating and half dmg on the low end

    To be fair, this encounter is now extremely close to just being able to ignore the script completely (if it isn't already). Raids should be forced to cycle the add script a few times, and not just once / less than once in a sub-6 min pull. Whether that be done by increasing the duration by increasing her health or some other mechanic doesn't really matter, but the encounter itself has pretty much been neutered overnight (between both the immunity threshold and the additional undocumented ae changes).

    However, I do get that this isn't meant to be cutting edge progression stuff, so I'm not actually against the fight having been opened up to more guilds so that more guilds can kill it. It's just the way that the script timing/pace now plays out doesn't do the fight any justice, particularly for an upper tier zone boss.

    This encounter was neutered beyond belief. It should have been scaled back to 30-25% for the mage immunity rather than making it lulz, straight burn and ignore the script entirely....

    That goooooood change makes named first pull + flawless victory for us. And for you it makes very, very cheap access to avatars. I'm very angry cause of this. Devs acted very unfair to Revelation and Musketeers with that awesome nerf. May be Fatality could kill it only in a few weeks, but instead of that they already have achieve for The Tribunal. Damn

    Gninja, would you comment plz this situation? Why you nerfed this named in three days to a same kind of "wall" (stand and beat), aboud which you wrote that "won't cheapen the first kill". With that nerf you devalued those 4 days that Revelations and Musketeers tried to kill it.

    How to understand that?

    talk about cheap kills, your guild runs on different rule sets the US servers and you LOS exploit your first kill. Revelations brings in out of guild scouts the day of their kill because they dont stock all scout dps. next encounter lets require 16 healers and see who gets that mob dead before it requires a change to the encounter. Oh, no more thursday changes that favor your 7 day weekend schedule.

    And that version was much harder than any "killable" state of Villandre
    Does anyone except us ever survive with her berserk buff (somewhat like 10 autoattacks per second)?
    Also, the "killable" state have significantly decreased adds' respawn timer.
    How exactly our rule set is different? And please, don't answer "don't know but you kill mobs and we can't!"
    Does your bosses hit harder? Does you script events like adds trigger faster? Does out abilities make more damage? Anything, please? We always can just compare it with ACT.

    That doesn't make any sense, LOL.
    We killed it same raid as Revelations with 3 dps scouts + 4 bards. Same amount of mages + enchanters.
    Are you complaining about 4 bards in raid or about 3 dps scouts?

    There is no reason to bring that amount of scout if you just execute script correctly.
    Burn her until first corpse (55-60%), kill 2 waves of adds with 2 scouts doing damage to boss. (20-25%)
    Burn her down with 3 scouts + 4 bards.

    The only reason to bring so many scouts is you can't kill more than one corpse+sapper. So you need many scouts to burn her down from 40%. Alas.

    Ehm. Want to tell you one interesting story.

    Firstly, this "exploit" was more like an event. Usually raid debuff hits everyone in raid, no matter where you stay, behind the wall ect., like on Ke'Rah Ferun of Rhag'Zadune. Secondly, even if you can avoid raid debuff time of adds respawn was really shorter, and you can harm named only with aoe attacks, cause dps check for adds was really high. This increased the battle time. If you try this named with exploit you should know, that when "Malice" reaches 60 increments or it just coincided to time, Villandre starts flurry from both hands Оо 8-10 hits per second. On our FK it requires to tank her with flurry about 6 minutes. Wanna try this nice version? Bring in out of guild monks?)

    Secondly, as I wrote earlier. Gninja said that the named with fixed exploit (then still not been announced what kind of bug it was) will be back earlier next week. Next week, monday, named spawn on our server ;)

    Thirdly, that gives us NO progression. Cause avatar didn't appear, script on first named in Altar was completly broken. And achievment was removed

    Revelation, is that true? :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

    If you really wanna boasts with number of healers in your raid, know, that if it will be required we will set full-heal raid)
    But would be better if you did not write this, cause now I'm thinking you trying first named in Altar with 16 healers looooool
    Want to tell you the truth about this encounter?))))))))))))))



    And the last one moment. While Villandre was active on your sevrver with your "personally" rules :D you may try to burn her and see, that event requires 2-3 skilled melee dd and good bards, as we did. If you forgot to try it, it's only your own problem:(

    But you were too busy post great parsers with huge amount of mythical crits)))
