Aw... :D Well, you always find really cool things to highlight that I agree with ("Yes! We need this!"), so it's easy. :)

My friend Kierbo had an amazing idea....a room divider with the hedge graphic. It's not so easy to really make a smaller hedge maze with the hedge seeds or similar item but with a room divider it would be perfect. Ends would butt up and walls would be thin enough so that the passageway wasn't clausterphobic but could still be made on a smaller scale. Could be used for all kinds of things as well since they could scale to much bigger than the hedge from the hedge seeds...

Would love to be able to decorate the Halls of the Unseen!!!! I've thought that for the longest time :) Like a Prestige house that you earn vs. buy!

Hedge building blocks!! that would be amazing
  6. Uwkete-of-Crushbone Well-Known Member

And then the topiary graphics? That'd be cool, too... :)

After all, they're just hedges with roses... :D

Absolutely!!!! And even the Frostfell hedges with the lights...seriously could do so many cool things with these building blocks~

On the one hand, I'm seriously loving that there's a separate category now for such things; on the other hand, it's a good thing that by the time they'd come out with it as a separate category, at home were already shifting from a Win98 with dial-up to a Win7 with DSL and could handle the extra load...and the devs had tweaked things so that the toon is the first thing that loads in a house zone, rather than the last thing. X-P

Which does make it kind of awkward, depending on how you might've reskinned everything... :-/

I would love to see cut outs for the burnished metal building blocks.

The build I'm currently working on has a lot of doorways and when I'm finished I will be using the majority of my building block limit. So, It's just not feasible to use three dividers to make each doorway. Having the cutouts would be so much nicer.

The issue there is we don't have the Doorways and Windows cutouts for anything of the Building Blocks on the Marketplace, for whatever peculiar reason. :-/ I can only guess that if we did, They'd figure we wouldn't be patronizing the City Festivals, even though there's other things, generic things and City-specific things, on the merchants that don't just involve the Building Blocks. X-P

So! How about it, o devs? Can we get the full compliment of the Red-Blue-White-Black Marble, Wood, Ice, etc. pieces on the Marketplace? All you'd have to do differently would be to whip up a set of the cutouts for the Burnished Metal stuff, and all that would entail would be taking the cutout models and reskinning them. ;->

    You'd make money that way...it ain't no four-letter word... ;->

Well....I was looking through screenshots and saved layouts, etc., today so I could clean the files up a bit while waiting for servers to come back up. Imagine my surprise when I found some things I took screenshots of some time ago and never got around to posting here! Anyway, here are 3 of the items I found, all in Rivervale.

In the Pot of Gold building (back room), there is this lovely wall of what I imagine are safe deposit boxes:

I imagine they're safe deposit boxes because in the same room, around the corner to the right, is this lovely vault door:

And down the road away in Middlehill's General Store are these 2 tradeskill stations - love them!!

I know these are all on the large side for house items, but I already have ideas for how I could use all of them!

SO! All 3 (or 4) depending on if the last 2 would be separated or not, are now on my FF wishlist! Pretty please Santa Glug???

I would like to also see . . . . Maybe next year for Oceansful . . perhaps a SHELL that would let us do the Othmir Dances kind of like our animation rugs : flirting, cutting a rug. . etc. Could have 2 shells or starfish. . . one for the HULA dance and the other for the Russian kick dance . . . . (whatever it is). I WANT TO HULA!
*I bring this up because it seemed to me that there is a starfish on the ground in the group of Othmir that caused you to Dance. . . I would just rather see us doing the Othmir dances . . In honor of Prexus and all . . . .*

Or maybe a kind Oceansfull Merchant could sell us those? :D

The Pot of Gold was a bank in Rivervale?

The one on the left looks like a pizza oven, so like a Stove/Keg (or maybe a Crucible for Jewelry making, smelting the -- softer -- metals?); the one on the right definitely looks like a Forge, though I don't see an anvil. Maybe it's under the shields. :)

If they'd provide those stations, I hope they let us provide the tools; I can't imagine what else would be in a pot in that kind of furnace except for metals. Anything else would boil away pretty quickly, but it would be perfect for pizza. :)

Another Oceansfull, or possibly ME addition...the sweet little jellyfish off the coast of the Kelethin nursery.

I realize the LoN houses are old but I would love to see the item count on those increased from a 700 base to at least the 900 item count like all the other houses.
  18. Uwkete-of-Crushbone Well-Known Member

Hnh! I'm kind of shocked they didn't get caught up in the "let's set everything Prestige up to 900 minimum, no matter how big or small the house actually is [900 for a Personal Dojo? 900 for a Personal GROTTO?!]" wave they had awhile back. :-/

May have been missed since the Rent-Free places are precisely the same as any other 6-room house, just without rent, but they are accessed from different locations...

What I would love to test, then see in the game (always have wanted it [ever since they came out with Building Blocks as a concept], always will; if it took 7 years of me whinging around [though I hope I wasn't the only annoying pest -- er, advocate ;->] to get us a year-round Frostfell crafting solution, hopefully it won't take that long to get this):

EDIT: Actually, since Building Blocks apparently came out in 2013, it has been longer than seven years, but I've only keenly felt the lack of proper, non-fancy, no-frills square columns/pillars/etc. somewhat more recently. We'll call that less than seven years. ;->

I'm throwing this onto the wishlists for NOTD 2024 as well, but I'd love to see plushies of all the common undead. To my knowledge, there's no *SCALABLE* plushies of the basic skeleton or zombie models anywhere in the game.

There are some replicas from the chronomentor missions, but they can't be scaled.

Would it be possible to get plushies of the basic skeleton, basic zombie, and decaying resident variants of zombies (the reskinned Human Male and Human Female models)?

I have an idea for a house, but I need just basic skeletons and zombies. Not troll or sarnak zombies, not iksar, goblin, or vah shir skeletons... not pirate skeletons either.

The Vicious Gorebones plushie and Ravaging Rotflesh plushies from the Ballads of Zimara prelude questline are the best I can find right now, which is why I'm farming the heck out of them to obtain as many as possible before those quests are removed from the game.
