Yep, we need more birds, more mobile ones! And that Apprentice Fish in the Apprentice Fish Bowl (I swear, some almost-graduated Wizard came up with that one...) needs to be readily available, not just a once-in-a-lifetime joy from the pandas! ;-> Uwk
I haven't read this entire thread so I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but in FF14 they have a thing that's like a guest book, where people who visit your house or gh can sign it and say what they think about the decorations. Would that be possible for EQ2? Would anyone else like this idea or not?
We don't have this, but most people put a mailbox in their house. It's easy to write a short note and mail it.
You, as a visitor, can't write in the book in the house of someone you're visiting, but I have known hosts that will take suggestions and comments in the in-game mail and then write those down into their own books. You can do the same in your house, with your book! To get to that, get to level 50 Sage and go to the Isle of Mara. Wiki has a good article write-up on it; lemme see if I can track down the quest...brb... Ah! Bookbinding for Beginners. Good luck! Uwk
Not sure if this was on here or not, but a solid green or blue color tile/block/cutout set that we could "chroma" key out.
You're welcome! And there are more ways to get writable books; EQ2 Furniture is pretty good at pointing out where the Book house items come from. Uwk
Unfortunately, only one character can write in any given book. No other characters can add to that book. Then there is also the fact that the character would have to have trustee access to pick up a blank book, and I am positive you would not want random strangers having that kind of access, LOL. The kind of guest book that Tasnee suggests would be unique in that it allows all visitors to write a comment without giving them permission to move any of the house items around.
Yeah, that's why folks who want to show off their guests' comments usually just ask for in-game mail, then type that in to their own book out on display. :-/ Uwk
Tinkered Mischevious Hinged Door this but with a context menu option to "eat" an existing tall divider for its texture. not sure this can happen but if you could use the collision for both states (open, closed) it could be used for some interesting house builds.
I think your second image didn't show? But would this be sort of related to the "doors" we have now, only we'd be able to see the "workings"? That'd be cool... Uwk
Snap to Grid with an increment changer. Housing Grid that starts at 0,0 of the home and scales with the increment changer Option to hide teleporters in non-decoration mode. Tome depot for tradable quest starter items (Far Seas Trading Reqs.)
So, since it's late over here and I'm too tired to go through 46 pages just to make sure it hasn't been postetd before: Thank you Dev's for listening to our pleas finally giving us old recipe books we missed while missing the expansion they belong to. I'm so happy being able to craft Dhalgar stuff for my numerous houses *big smile*
