Dunno what holiday but this would be nice

Also, bars of nihilectrum. From a quest in Forlorn Gist. They are kind of of platinum color shiny gold bar shape thing. Apparently a re-tint of something from Bristbane day.

Location 31.20 -50.19 245.61 52.43 0.00 0.00 in Castle Vacrul-Suite of screams. The floating lanterns look very close to the E-day tholuxe paells items, could we add those in perhaps? And the two tapestries in there are Amazing as well!

Shabby furniture - Crafted for the TS daily, could be a house item using one of the forlorn chairs.
When placed, interactable. Player sits on chair.
Chair randomly breaks after a period of time. Player lands on butt.

    Random Bristlebane idea.

I would like to see a generic, non-descript, non-themed sign plate that carpenters can make at any time.

Pretty much every sign in the game has some specific aesthetic themed. Tinkered sign plates for Tinkerfest, candy canes for Frostfell, pink and purple stained glass for Erollisi Day (the ones I like most), weathered street posts, carved driftwood, hanging market signs, signs hanging from branches, bar signs, etc. Most of them can only be purchased from holiday event merchants, which severely limits how you can get them, but you still have to live with that aesthetic theme.

Could we please get some write-able ribbons and/or medals like what would be awarded for contests? Blue, red, and white ribbons and gold, silver, bronze medals. Would love to have these as a general decorating item that we can also award to people for contests. Thanks!

    Hey DenMum,
Can we get some of these please. We have the green and red versions. This was taken in one of the prelude zones for VoV. Can we please maybe possibly get the purple version of the seeping shadow?
    Love always

(ugh my picture won't paste here)

Sadly, you can't upload things directly here from, say, your game directory (I know, I've tried ;->). You can copy something from a website (with all the requisite copyright acknowledgements, etc.), but not from your personal computer. X-P

    What you can/have to do:

    1. Get yourself a third-party image hosting site, even if it's Facebook (though FB can get weird; fair warning). Either Photobucket or Imgur requires the cost of 57 arms and 38 legs to have the temerity to post YOUR OWN (or anyone else's) images anywhere but THEIR site, so I'd avoid them. I like DeviantArt. The price is right (free ;->).

    2. Do whatever you have to do in order to Publish an image such as an in-game screenshot into your hosting site. Say nice things about how "this image is owned by Daybreak Games, all rights reserved," it isn't yours, etc., etc., etc.

    3. What I do after this (which may be more complicated than it needs to be for even DA):
    a. Right-click on the image. I'll get a long-ish drop-down menu, headed up by View Image.
    b. I'll left-click on View Image and get sent to a page just for the image. There will be a URL at the top -- and for those who don't know, that's the "address" of the actual entry; the one here is:
    https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq2/index.php?threads/homeshow-wishlists.73/page-48#post-6674403
(But don't click on that, it'll just add to the confusion. ;->)
    c. Highlight and Copy (Ctrl+C) the URL for the image.

    4. Come back here and open or continue your post.

    5. Click on the Insert/edit image icon, the one that looks like a li'l tree in a landscape.

    6. Paste (Ctrl+V) the URL into the Enter image URL: box, then click Insert.

    7. Voila! Your screenshot should now be inserted like an image in a Word document. :)

P.S. Other folks have done perhaps better guides to this sort of thing; when in doubt, just do a Search under "posting screenshots." --U.

    Me too! That's cool! :D

We could maybe replicate it using various building blocks and other items, but if we're close to the limit on both categories in a house, it would be best to be able to use ONE item for it... ;)

Another 2 items that would great are the dwarven statues over the archway from Thurgadin Harbor to Storm Gorge in the Great Divide. As far as I recall, we don't have any statues of dwarves in game. Which would then lead us to needing gnome statues, halfling statues....

But I digress!! It looks like the statues are identical but reversed, so having left facing and right facing both would be great!!

Could we please have mortar and pestles, and numbers and letters from all the city festivals and two flavors similar to \aITEM 1708306582 1753253243:Triangle Bronze Framed Glass Window\/a

We can make our own numbers and letters using small physical items (best are various books and things like that, size- and shape-wise), but yeah, it would be cool to have something official. Sadly, I'm not sure that's gonna happen; they have scripts and runes and such here and there (look on the various sarcophagi, that looks very Viking to me), but nothing that anyone could really translate. Even the Futhark Runes, I don't think, actually spell out anything in-game. :-/

Main reason to do that is so they don't have to scrutinize every decorated house with a fine-tooth comb, I think, before someone blows up at them for something offensive that they're now gonna get sued over, or something. Or the parents of under-18 kids (even though the kids needed their permission to play in the first place...) freaking out over someone spelling out bad words or something (like "Depp" /shrug) in officially released product. Or something.

I'd like to see it available, too, but for now I'll just settle for more lovely windows. :)

And mortars and pestles, too. :)

First, it astonishes me that a game set in a certain time period does not have mortar and pestles, especially when we have a variety of alchemical house items. It almost feels like a crime we don't have them.

Second, I use books and other things already to make letters and numbers, but it eats at the already precious item count slots I am using that could be used to create more living spaces, additional details, etc. We already have a numerous amount of windows, and books and other objects people can already put things on that can be used to put words on in that could cause the player to get sued. I don't think it's a tough ask to have letters and numbers when there are over a hundred basic royalty free scripts out there. I'm not asking or suggesting anything that would 'blow up' a budget, a simple font is not intrusive to anyone.

This is the great thing about a "wish" list. We put what we wish was in the game. No judgements. Just wishful thinking. Everyone's wishes for things that would increase their enjoyment in decorating holds merit. Not one single person's wishes should be negated or deemed lesser than another's. It's the great thing about being creatives. We all create differently, and we all have our own styles. I posted my wishes because it's what is important to me, and what would make life easier in the designs I do regularly, not because I needed to justify why I want them, nor to feel as if my desires are less important than other people's. It's just a few things I would like. The only factor here is if the Devs decide to run with our ideas, or not.

This is true! And yep, I completely agree with your desire for actual fonts; it would make life a lot easier (ask me about making Doctor Who TARDISes, even with only spelling out POLICE and BOX and using other, smaller things to suggest the Public Call part, rather than being able to actually spell it out...the size of the books [over 100 for all four sides] limits the size of the TARDIS, and if we could have actual, customizable, visible from across the room signs, the only limit there would be the ultimate size of the font...or maybe the sign itself, and the font size would adjust with it [or even overlays that we could put on anything, without needing a sign?]. Maybe that's the real reason, or at least another one, why they haven't done it? :-/). :)

And definitely yeah, mortars and pestles go with alchemy sets...we have an entire tradeskill profession based around that, and a bunch of tinker-heads who'd probably also love those. So where are they? :-/

Some other items that would be lovely to have:

    Banana or Banana Bunch
Hats (Cowboy hat, Fez, Fidora-like, or a house item version of the duck hats from the duck portals, house item version of the hats we get during holidays, etc.)
    Doorknobs
    Handles
Different types of meat (steak, sausages, sides of beef, ribs, etc.) that aren't on a plate or in a bowl
    Grapes
    Fayberries
    Clotheslines
    Pickles (yes, pickles)
Creatures (deer, rabbit, squirrels, ducks, etc.) hanging upside down and possibly swinging on a rope?

Thank you for all you do!

Will just leave this here as food for thought...

    • Any chance of having a lift? Whether the wooden lifts like in the Rum Cellar or something more sleek like in Barren Sky, it would be nice because stairs are so hard to make work with floor tiles, etc.

    • Can we add actions to house actors, like harvesting and pacing?

    • Sizing - can we get some plushies that can be sized REALLY BIG? Like dragons, Etc? I think the biggest I've seen is the Daar Sentinel Model. I would love to see things that should be huge be huge, like the giants, dragons, gods and goddesses, sqatches, etc. Also, trees. I was hopeful the HUGE Karuupa tree would be a big'un, but alas, not. Vetrovia has such gorgeous HUGE trees, but... there is a definite tree canopy on my Tenebrous Island that I can't seem to breach. There were a couple of wracked trees that got big, but ya know. More!

    • Frostfell specific : Can we get a flying reindeer or glug's sleigh that is actually airborne and does a loop? I thought we had one once, but I haven't been able to find it so I must have imagined it.

    • Orange and yellow. I absolutely adore the Cae'dal rugs. Inspiration for a run of items? I have retiled my Kromzek in amber marble... I love the cheerful combos!

I was hoping we could get some dark wood building block sets. Some ideas for dark wood are: Black Walnut, Espresso Oak, Black Cherrywood or Ebony.

Also could we get the pearly purple tile that we already have made into a set.

For NoTD: I would love to see the trees and roots with the eyeballs in them that move and follow you around like in The Temple of Cazic-Thule
