YES! Love all these requests! Tulips would be lovely! And daffodils, and most especially a Lilac bush! My fav flower ever! And the misty tile colors...YES YES YES...(and like 20 more yes's!) Colors for each holiday would ROCK...but not merchant bought...crafted! Or even added to moonlight, because at least those tokens can be grinded every month and not once a year under the calendar restrictions and hand exhausting grind! I can see them in dark colors to match so much we have. How about adding colors to match each festival...bright white (not the fog) and neutral (greys, browns) for qeynos, deeper reds for gorowyn, dark blues and purples for neriak, black and yellow for freeport (or other dark colors), green and gold and honey colors for kelethin, and differ blues for Halas. And then a few colors for holidays like pinks, pastel blues, greens and purples, orange and black for notd, etc. The mind reels at all you can do with them! LOVE the idea of a darker/deeper green BB set. I think hunter green would be lovely! Maybe added to tinkerfest. (I know they are typically browns and golds, but dark green would offset all those colors so nicely.) I can see a deep hunter green, with the texture of either the black marble, the red marbles, or even the texture of the shadow stone set. If not tinkerfest, maybe notd? Green is a nice compliment to all the orange, black, and yellow. And no one ever said the halloween like themes ever had to always be orange and black. =) And lastly the flowered shrubs, yes! There are never enough flowers...more more...any flowers! I know of NO housing/deco fanatic that does not love gardens and the multitude of ways to design them. =) Thank you for all the idea here, and for devs...all the wonderful items you continually add!
Gardens and aquaria! There is a dark green pillow among the Sinister Pillow set for NotD, iirc, so yeah, a dark green works. Basically, all the various autumn festivals, even in RL, are for the harvest: things getting ripe and golden or red; the golden or red leaves falling from the trees, except for the dark green evergreens for contrast; the fields getting plowed up after the harvest, with the very dark brown to black (if you're really lucky!) topsoil showing; etc. As long as we're talking farms or gardens, how about: sheep? Goats? We can already get cows (but without any bulls, no milk [because cows make milk to feed baby cattle, that's why; they're nice enough to share with us ;->]) and pigs and various fowl, but not the rest of the barnyard. And as for what happens after the barnyard, can we PLEASE get meat (like the Ham), a single fish, prepared fowl, etc. without the silly plates and extra trimmings? The Corned Beef from a recent Brewday was awesome; we need more like that! Horses with "removable" tack as an option would be nice, too; I was kind of hoping mine would get "naked" once I'd turned mine into house plushies from their mount forms, but no luck. Poor things will have to graze out in the pasture with the bits in their teeth and their cinch straps tight. On the other hand, if you're running a messenger station service from a prestige house, you'd definitely want them all ready to go, so it'd be nice to have as a toggled option. As far as flowers, shrubs, etc. go, check out the sneak peek Mum gave us on the Homeshow forum for the Moonlight Grotto event later this week, whenever they let us back into game again! Uwk
I have a new request which I do not think is listed anywhere, but don't quote me. JELLYFISH! I want different colors, some swimming and some still. Jellyfish aquariums are all the rage and it would be cool to create one. I am sure there are many who could also find other uses for them.
They're very tasty in RL, too! Not so much the stinging cells, but the bodies...make a fine salad. And they're cool to watch. Uwk
Hmm! Possible...between my Kerra(s) and Provies and aquaria... ;-> If there's a sudden "population explosion" of the interesting critters in my tanks (they prefer warmer, less oxygenated water...) and I'm losing too many fish, well... ;-> Uwk
Well, there are box jellies in RL...though I wouldn't recommend wanting to hug them. :-/ For the most part, though, I agree with you; they're very cool to watch, and quite pretty! But they are getting frighteningly burgeoning in RL; it's not considered a good sign. :-/ So! Pass them off as a luxury food item and pretty soon, we won't have to worry about them overpopulating the oceans. Uwk
Is it at all possible to start a new pinned wishlist thread to freshen things up? I see this thread is 9 years old and 45 pages long, and I wonder if that fact drives some readers away? I could be wrong, but just wondered if rebooting would liven it up? =)
My latest desire, borders for baseboards, crown moulding, etc. It should be easy to jazz up some of the already existing city home options. Picture frames and trims in existing prestige homes and guild halls could also be used.
I was just posting something from the Village of Shin to the Brewday festival list, and it occurred to me that a Lunar New Years Festival for the East Asian (Chinese) calendar would be a nice addition to the roster of festivals. The problem is that the date changes every year, but it tends to be between late January and mid-February, so some years might overlap with Erollisi Day. There are a bunch of objects in the Village of Shin presently not availabe that could be rewards, plus other things that could be altered at little development, like bright red paper lanterns, or entirely red costumes based on present models. There is already a number of objects available in the carpenter's recipe Nurwin Family Secrets, but these could also be rewards, especially if slightly modified. Multiples of lanterns like the Lamp of Devotion from the Pirate's Bride quest would also be nice to get. There could be plushies based on presently existing races (a ratonga, boarfiend, etc dressed in red) or animals, to represent the animals of each year (it could take you 12 years to get the set!). Drum in the Mediation Chamber. My chap Scrumpy here is wearing a very standard EQ2 design of shirt, in this case it is a Frostfell pattern, but if it was entirly red it would be very appropriate for a Lunar New Year reward.
Oh, I dunno; I think just having it as part of Brewday would be awesome! There's already a Sake Brewer set on the Marketplace, and all that emphasis on food (just ask me east Asian in-laws ) would work perfectly with it! Uwk
Reposting since I asked in 2016 and still haven't seen them : A simple black (deep black, not blue please) tapestry, really a black version of the http://eq2furniture.com/index.php?item=crimson fire&category=&subcategory=&type=&event=&tier=&recipebook=&ingredient=&quest=&starter=&zone=&merchant=&faction=&mob=&awarded=&claimed=¤cy=&lon=&creator=&housetype=&placement=&description=&date1=&date2=Really, as others suggested, it would look great in many other colors too, such as a deep green for Brewday, white for frostfell, a true deep bloody red just because, ect.The possibility to keep drapes closed, (each time I leave the hall, they open...I blame goblins, fairies and Bristlebane for this) http://eq2furniture.com/index.php?item=fiber drape&category=&subcategory=&type=&event=&tier=&recipebook=&ingredient=&quest=&starter=&zone=&merchant=&faction=&mob=&awarded=&claimed=¤cy=&lon=&creator=&housetype=&placement=&description=&date1=&date2=
The black and deep bloody red could be for Nights of the Dead (and maybe an orange one, too), with the others being for each holiday (maybe the Frostfell one could be an off-white/very light blue combo, like ice?)...a "brass" or "steel" one for Tinkerfest? And I think (but don't quote me on it; been a long time since I bought a set, but thankfully they're pretty cheap) that the Soft Velvet Curtains can be shut and be expected to STAY that way. ;-> Uwk who'll probably have to get some more for the current House Swap thing, and so will double-check...it does say in the write-up on EQ2 Furniture that they "can be displayed open or closed" but it would be nice to have a recipe-based curtain that would do that :-/
Ack! I corrupted the first try at this and when redid it I forgot the pelicans! dang it!!! They are in Timorous Deep off main docks (3 of them fly by on regular basis). Will try to get images and waypoints and post here when done.
