Scribe recipe Visage of Malice. Head to Ghorkaal (dark elf village) and enter a building to use cauldron to craft the illusion. (Requires KA rare – which rare?) Head to the Cathedral, zone in from coffin near Ossuary entrance. Use visage after zoning in. Past first stairs and to the left is a skull on a pillow which can remove the epic golems. If they are not removed, they join the fight with the grand inquisitor. Kill the two bosses in east and west wings. Kill Grand Inquisitor in middle wing. This zone can be soloed, but is considered rather difficult. Can cov in other classes and can zone in with other scouts. Mercenaries are allowed. 4) Return to Foust in Phantom Sea. He will give you a leash. Head to Nektulos Forest, travel the road just south of N’Mar’s Ascent to find a dark rider. Use the leash on the rider to be teleported to Kurn’s Tower. 5) Fly down into the tunnel below Kurn’s near the entrance to the tower. (acces to Krun's Tower neede) Speak with Foreman Fluff who wants five items : - Golden Belt of the Unseen : Darkmails gauntlet HQ, need 50K faction with the circle of the unseen hand - Golden Necklace of Rime : a merchant sells it in JW (/waypoint -737, -46, 1906), need 50K faction with The Order of Rime - Golden Encrusted Pearl Ring : in Cobalt Scar behind Osh (/waypoint 4258, -1094, 2050), need Cobalt Scar timeline - Gold Laced Cloak of Nighmarish Depths : last named in Kralet Penumbre Submerged Lair - Golden Shackle of Mist : last named in Lost City of Torsis Shrouded Temple 6) After finding the items, return to Foreman Fluff for a big explodey thing. Head to the big rock east of the tower to find the place to use the bomb, then enter the door that appears. Travel through Kurn’s Tower: The Locket. Climb up the wall. Avoid the guards in the main area, and open a small chest on a gold pile where the elevator was in the original zone. Return to Dolas’ former location in the Bonemire. Pick up a bag leaning against a tree (/waypoint -253.34 -73.74 -597.81) This finishes the first quest.
Can anyone confirm that the Gold Laced Cloak of Nighmarish Depths has dropped in the last few days? 14 runs through Submerged Lair (EH), named has feather... no drops.
Same thing is happening to one of the dirges in my guild, multiple runs, mob has feather and no drop. Maybe they broke it?
I'm stuck on the shiny collection, I'm unable to see them. I go to each location and nothing appears on track or even close to that area. The shinnies I do end up finding are not Purple ones nor are they related to the quest. I went and finished the quest for the Toggery's Tinkered Excavation Helm, equipped it and still nothing for the purple shinnies I fear I am again missing a questline or HQ of some kind.
Update: I did finally run into some of these shinnies, you don't need to wear the Toggery's Tinkered Helm to see them either.
The /loc for the assasisn purple shineys is a bit off. I found one by chance in Fens at /way 344.63, -119.14, 485.60. Also there is a typo in the coords for the assassin shineys. The first and third coordinate needs the space removed from the first number and the - symbol. but other than that this is a great guide, thanks for the time and effort.
I've compiled the list for the Scout Epic Weapon 2.0 quest. "A weapon to slay the god's themselves" To start: Read 'A finely decorated book', given to you in previous quest. Prerequisite: Must be level 9 in any ascension class. Zone into 'Arcanne's Spire' Forgotten Sanctum (solo ) in Thalumbra, waypoint -62.77, 14.41, 163.38 Clear the Ancient Protectors Lvl 101 ^ in the first hallway ( There is a timed quest reward if this is completed in under 4 minutes ) Turn Left into the "Room of passion" and clear all of the Protectors of Passion 102^ ( There is a timed quest reward is this is done in under 5 minutes ) Kill Zai'da Rai, Keeper of Passion (Lvl 103***) (Low HP, very soloable) Click the "Passion's Heart" in the middle of the room. You are zoned into an instance "The planar fragment" In the center of the room, you will hail "Your Conflicted Persona" When the dialogue finishes, you your Conflicted Persona , will become aggro 100 ^^^ Heroic. This fight is very simple. For a faster kill, ramp up before attacking, do as much damage as possible. The mob will port, and a message will appear " You hear the sound of traps being set all around you. (Be careful not to rotate the screen after you are ported to the middle of room) Run forward and as you approach the edge of the center circle on the floor. There will always be one trap directly ahead of you.(waypoint -10.61, 30.55, -0.98) If you jump over the trap and walk around the very outside of the room, you will avoid each trap. After all traps are avoided. The mob will approach you again. ( Each trap has either a mana drain or health drain ) Either way if you run into a trap it will make the fight much longer. Repeat this process until you kill your doppleganger for the update. Exit " The planar fragment" Click "The passions heart" (waypoint -405.13, 8.74, -79.39) once more to finish the quest. likewise, repeated runs through Penumbra submerged lair and still not dropping gold laced cloak nightmarish depts. for Finding Dolas. Can someone confirm this quest is not broken please. Abyssral has feather and all prereq met. Is it supposed to be auto update upon killing named?
Unfortunately Jc' its random, i know someone who took 17 attempts to get it but myself it only took 3, keep trying and good luck.
Nah not really ... it said "uncommon" but definition of "uncommon" might differ between you and DBC for me it was like 5 or so runs
