People voted, it's not weird for them to use the word vote. Sure it wasn't the "real vote" but in the US primary season we still refer to that as a vote. Heck, even in General Election we're technically not "voting" since we're just assigning how our electors will vote for us (and they can on rare occasion dissent).

Let's not nitpick the details needlessly.

Which would put it (RF) at the maximum capacity it was initially designed to handle.
It seems debatable if this would be good or bad for the community.

Bad, as these "casual" people won't hang around anyway, then the server is dead. But I have every confidence that we will progress at the very minimum of three months, possibly asap.

People get nitpicky for a reason. People hear "vote" and they think that it is the one to directly unlock Kunark. People hear "poll" and they calm down and realize its not directly for unlocking Kunark.

Its just a way to differentiate between those two things.

Exactly why would this happen when going into the server launch it was understood that this was the original ruleset. Everyone who made toons on ragefire knew the ruleset going in so.....

And obviously Luclin won. We are skipping Kunark/Velious completely. Not even unlocking them. Straight to Luclin.

Daybreak should never have allowed people to think that unlock guidelines were immutable "rulesets" that could never be changed to fit the actual players paying to play on the server.
