    Degmar is a TINY zone.
    In EQ there are PLENTY of zones with larger agro radii. Plenty.

    The agro is dredge is a little crazy in places. Depending on where you are its fine. The mobs tend to like to assist through things that shouldnt be, like below you or through walls.... The agro radius was to small before, but i think it went a little to high with where some mob placement is.


    And a side note....
    I dont know if an emphasis on the word Tiny is the way to go on a Full expansion.... I wonder what you consider Brother's island to be lol!

    At least the z-axis stuff she mentioned should be fixed. Nothing like a pather a floor below you running up to greet you.

    We shoudn't have to set up a watcher outside the building to let us know when the mob is pathing below us.

    Ngreth, I (and I am confident I can speak for the majority of people in EQ, even those that do not utilize the forums) love the fact that you're proactively involved in tuning aspects of EQ in which you are responsible.
    It's nice to see someone not only be able to devote time to forums, have open discussions about issues as well. Not only is it obvious you enjoy your job, it shows that you love EverQuest too!

    On another note, there is an issue with the end result of a Focus Effect with the new Cultural gear. It's currently capped at level 100, which unfortunately defeats the purpose of choosing such a focus effect.

    The specifically referenced item is Raid Elder Leather Chest Seal of the Oracle ( here ) , yet the bug applies to all "Raid Elder {ArmorType} {Slot} Seal of the Oracle."

    The focus effect on the above referenced item is:

    Creating a "hidden formula" aka a workaround formula to use a base value in a specific way to get around code in certain situations is a pretty ridiculous argument for telling people we shouldn't trust parsers, when parsers are 99.9% correct if the parser is good, like the eqresource one is.

    And people aren't guessing about most of this stuff:

    We don't have pure transparency on what these values do, but we're pretty good at figuring them out for the most part.

    The achievement "Friends Don't Let Friends Die" in the Arx Mentis raid #3 "Principal Vicarum Nomia" does not work. The condition for it is to keep Galeth alive through the event. We've done that twice now and still didn't get that achievement.

    And please take another look at the reset script which is probably shared by all Arx Mentis raids. The reports of various guilds getting awarded the win/chest/key/currency after they wipe keep coming in. So far it has happened to different guilds in events 1, 2 and 3 (and it will probably happen in event 4 too when more guilds get there).

    In case anyone forgot here is the usual friendly reminder that Geomantra is still overwriting Enchanter spellshield at every level (including the new Lv. 104 spell Legion of Lucem). Geomantra of any level (/wave GoD expansion) will drop, or flat out block, DD spell shield. Going on 10 years strong now :confused:

    Castle Relic HA in Degmar.
    I completed this HA as I was helping a friend and flagging my alt. They didn't have faction done to be able to zone in.
    On completion they both got the green text popup success box as well as a lock out timer.

    The "achievement" was not ticked and they could not request the next progression task.

    I tried holding open the HA with an alt still in the instance, and then proceeded to do the 2x faction tasks. The instant closed out after about 15mins.
    We did the faction tasks but obviously still had about 2hours left of the lockout.

    Solution :
    Make it more obvious that the 2x faction tasks are *required* to be done (the only other way is via killing npcs and you'd have to kill about 250 for 1 faction task - which probably is not realistic).
    Alternatively if the 2 faction tasks are *optional* then maybe tie them to zoning into the mission instead of the HA. The mission step will update even if you are not in the zone.

    Did they confirm that the achievement not being ticked wasn't a case of the display bugging? Many times you have to link the achievement in text and click it to make sure something updated as it should.

    It's been bugged in game but I'm pretty sure collection items for "Our Fading History" in Thuliasaur Island are spawning under the world or some are just not respawning at all.

    HAs in TDS do not give credit or currency to players that don't zone in. No currency I can understand easily, but the Degmar HA is required for progression and with that little faction wall, it just sucks.

    It's also like the only HA I can possibly think of that can't be done solo/molo (maybe a couple Neriak ones too), because those quest named require heavy tanking/dps/healing to get by. Even more frustrating is the collectibles... I can't just do it myself, I have to take a group and any one of those people will find and instantly click their shiny like greedy little grinches. It's like this HA should be really rebranded as a mission.

    The collectibles that spawn as ground items in TDS heroic adventures can also drop from the mobs within the HA (including before the step that spawns the ground items).

    Seems that after each patch, the bug with /target playerX is coming back each time.

    Can be anyplace in zone and then use /target X

    On a PvP server, thats BAD!

    The shaman AA's "Wind of Pathosis" and "Paralytic Spore 3" (probably other ranks as well) are currently sharing a timer but they should be separate.

    Also "Wind of Pathosis" is currently a PBAE spell. If it is supposed to function like Wind of Malosinete then it should be a targeted AE instead. Having it targeted would be more useful than a PBAE I think.

    UPDATE: I see a release note that this has been addressed and will be in the next patch.

    Not even the formula I am speaking about. But it is up to you on if you trust them or not. They are still bound to give incorrect information in some cases. I am not telling you not to use them, all I am telling you is that they give you incomplete information, and just because something looks bad in a parser does NOT mean it is actually bad. Certainly the information quoted from parsers on the Physical Resist issue was absolutely NOT the issue.

    I am not saying that the parsers are engineered badly. I am not trying to disparage the creators of the parsers or the work they have done. I am saying that some of it is based on supposition or data given by developers from time to time, and is not 100% reliable.

    I am not even saying that the stuff "figured out" is necessarily wrong. But, unless confirmed by a developer, it is still just a data driven guess, with reasonable confirmation due to in game experience and parsing. In many cases it is correct supposition. In all cases it is not.

    I will forward the information about that achievement. There has been another look into the reset script which was hotfixed in 11/20. Were the reports AFTER that date (and reasonably confirmed)

    As a druid with the Nature's Bounty AA, I can forage up to 4 items at a time on Thuliasaur Island, even if the AA should restrict foraging to 2 at a time.
