directx 11 is on test but is not planned to be part of the sept live patch. so I would take it we going see lots of smaller test patch the next few months on it.

Imagine Beta will prob see the more testing once it goes live to get in

I wish they would finish the UI before messing with Directx

Likely completely different people and it's not really at all related. It sounds like they brought in contractors to help with some of the conversions (or other people from EG7). I do appreciate the quick turnaround on patches though on the DX11 conversion. That's great to see!
