And since it's on the same timer as Breather, I can't use it when I need it. Conveniently, Breather has the same refresh time as Imitate Death (90 seconds), so these two can be paired whenever you need endurance (and can actually fade off a mob). The only damage reduction is the time it takes to fade off and cast. Still significantly less than the damage reduction from Hiatus. While they do share a timer. For reasons I don't know, Breather's timer isn't "blocked" for more than Breather's reuse time when Hi is used. So you can pop Hi and Breather will be ready to use again ads if if you'd used breather previously rather than Hi. Everyone feel free to ignore the work I've put in. Not a problem for me at all. That is the only AA I don't have maxed yet, your right. However I don't believe for a second that they raised the amount to 12 times greater than it was before. at rank 7/10 it gives 175 endo a tick for 2 ticks. I'm looking at AA right now and rank 8 gives 200 a tick for 2 ticks. Your telling me that rank 10 gives you 1200 endo a tick for 2 ticks....I think not. But I will know for sure soon.
I know there's a graphics bug that doesn't 'press' a button down if it's locked out if the cooldown is greater than that particular button's cooldown. For instance, Eye of the Storm (5 min?) only gets 'pressed' when there is 5 (?) minutes left on the cooldown after Shaded Step (7 min?) gets used. Eye still remains inactive. Is Breather truly usable after Hiatus? Highlight all > Combine > Post combined This doesn't help anyone though. Flexing doesn't matter when people just want to know your gym routine. And in a thread that you started discussing burns in, "Nothing but grind spam no burns" isn't exactly relevant. I doubt you fought for that long without a single burn, large or not.
That's for just Eagle Strike alone. Without using any other AA or Discs. The one passive AA gives 300 on strike, and 300 for three ticks, 1,200 endure alone in 18 seconds. Now pair that with either the Disc or the other AA and 2,400 on average every 18 seconds.
Is Breather truly usable after Hiatus? Yes, at Breathers normal reuse time. That's why it's not combined. Scroll on down the post. Fight after fight no burns at all. Some distractions, took a call and made a text or two and my dps drops some but other than that... I'd love to discuss burns but everyone appears busy posting about their nonmaxed toons not being able to do this that and or the other and how they'll find out... Cactiikii in 24s (Zehhn + pets) 16294674 dmg @ 678945 dps 3. Cactiikii in 31s (Zehhn + pets) 16493187 dmg @ 532038 dps Number 1 was with all the good shammy/ranger/chanter buffs youd expect, and grouped with a Shaman (epic) and a Beastlord (shared merciless ferocity). Number 2 was full buffs again, but only a Shaman, and Number 3 was partially buffed and no ADPS.
I'll be sure to check that out. Sounds suspiciously like a bug. (Hah, I'd hate to get suspended for using a hunk o' junk in an unintended way). I think I counted about 30 parses below your original 157k in a short amount of time, got a bit bored, and figured that'd be sufficient for this discussion. You posted a comparison to Cicelee's monk of 45k to your 157k, seemingly claiming this is a standard for you. Clearly it's not, and / or clearly you don't understand your own DPS, refresh timers, or RNG. I saw a 56k, 67k, 68k, and a 70k. But I guess you were on the phone then, or texting, or any other excuse, right? And that 200k? Oh, well, that's just standard play if you know how to play a monk! The problem with these short duration fights is your abilities get a bit of a breather between fights to refresh. Our kick synergy is a significant DPS boost - both by itself with the multiple kick, and the synergy effect that remains. If you're waiting 12-14 seconds between pulls, as some of those fights show, that synergy kick is going to be on the next mob immediately and it'll again boost your DPS. Longer fights are going to smooth this out to show you a more accurate measure of what your DPS is at. Second, RNG. Short duration fights highlight a lot of RNG, as evident in the range you have - 56k vs. 200k. That's why when posting parses doing comparisons or showing trends, the longer parses are the more valuable ones, and the shorter parses can be thrown out the window. Crane stance is a fantastic example of this - how often do you get one that only does 300k, and then another time you get a series of kicks that do 4mil? Again, I reiterate I highly doubt you used not a single disc. No Eye of the Storm? No Ironfist with a Crane Stance? No Terrorpalm + DF? No Dicho? If you're waiting for a named and holding a burn for it, you can still pop discs and still hold back the larger ones. Heel is the king - you can still use Speed, Terror, Ironfist, Eye, and Earthforce on the trash. You played for nearly 2 hours in content that is 2 years old and didn't use a single thing, yet you expect people to trust you when you say you know what you're doing? "I'd love to show you guys how to get to the top, but if you're not already at the top there's no point in me showing you in the first place." Take a look around, chances are you're at a false summit and there's plenty more ground to cover before you reach the top. I make no claims about myself or my performance. I try to learn as much as I can, take in as much information as I can, and give out as much information as I can. I'll take constructive criticism (tiger claw vs. eagle strike, hiatus working with breather, etc.), and give also give it out if asked. Take a look at your posts again and try to point out where you have helped more than insulted.

This is obviously a very front-loaded burn, not the sort of thing you'd use on a longer event: Clicks: CoP IV, RoS TS BP AA: IoT, FDF Disc: Dicho, Heel During fight: Crane, FPP Forgot to state before, what I would consider a significant stat, my hdex is at 1560. As I've worked hard on my augs and my hdex has crept up, I have seen big gains in DPS. Old news, but worth mentioning I feel.
Wouldn't those 100 mob parses be a little inflated since you're probably tanking them and fighting with a 2hander.
20-45s parses with incredibly vague parameters like “nothing but grind spam” and quality variables such as “I stopped to text and took some calls” is not what most sensible people would call a “controlled environment” for parsing. I think you mean just you alone in 2 year old zone attacking things arbitrarily. GribbleQuest strikes again. Was this a complete list of abilities you activated? If so, what’s in your spam key? I’d be curious to see similar runs with a group weapon instead of Crush, too.
So I had like 5 minutes to kill, so I did some excel stuff because I was curious the total damage/duration of all these 100 mob parses. Total duration is 3391 seconds, total damage is 393922876. That's an average of 116167 DPS, on 2 expansion old content, potentially tanking? I don't really know, not a lot of variables were clearly mentioned. Significantly lower than "Without burns I average 157k DPS" though. Only a small and probably uncontrolled data point, but I was bored and someone might find it interesting.
Yes, that was everything I triggered. There was another monk in the group on all 3 runs, but Alliance didnt trigger. Spam keys (I use 2) are pretty standard: FK, TC (auto) (1) Zan Fi Firewalkers Rk2 Firestorm of Fists Doomwalkers Precision (2) Two Finger Curse of 13 Phantom Pummeling (use this molo to help trigger 13, forgot to swap it out) Vigorous Shuriken I've started leaving out Banestrike as it seems to cause more problems than its worth. Not sure how much difference a group weapon would make, but would be interesting to see. On all 3 of those parses, kick damage accounts for 60-65% of total, with crushes only making up roughly 20%.
If you do max the AA for this line, it will put a like 45% dmg increase debuff on mobs that increases TC, ES, DP. Good for the times mobs don't have two-finger wasp on it. Problem with looking at just damage is it doesn't paint the entire picture. Tiger Claw at max skill vs the rest at max skill does about 10% more Hits per Time (due to increased Accuracy in some way, likely in the coded formulas). This does cause Tiger Claw to roughly do 10% more DPS compared to ES and DP, before any possible magnification.
There's no way you can post any log or parse that shows TC out damaging ES by 10%. Feel free, to prove me wrong.
I know I suck. Feel free to do better and post the same thing. It's easy just solo an In To The Temple b run. I'll wait for your better numbers.

To add to this FD and Stand can indeed "Fade" you from combat, I forget the exact % chance it is something like 7ish % or so per mob per FD try, no level cap or anything to this afaik. Spam FD and Standing is one way to get out of combat in RoS raids if you can say Breather before you get put back into combat. It is annoying though to do so vs just Imitate Deathing If you can do it super fast between combat rounds, I imagine you prob wont lose too much DPS, but even if it does a little it is probably less loss then all the other methods to regen End for Monks
