Happy holidays! Happy to say CrossGuard and Echoes of Elysium worked together fabulously last night and downed Vox! It was a learning experience and coordinating 2 guilds certainly was a challenge, but we made some new friends and now know that Phinigel is more then capable of holding enough people to populate at least 2 strong and active guilds. It is my hope more semi-casual players that can respect one another will realize this and play on Phinigel to continue growing it's robust, hard playing, and fun community.

We have had a great couple off weeks on Phinny! We have cleared massive amounts of PoH and PoF mobs granting many members sets of planar armor, as well as downing Vox. Well it has been 4 weeks since the server went live. We have now defeated Vox, Nagafen, Phinigel, all the mini bosses in hate/fear/sky and we are moving on to Inny/Cazic. It has been a great month for Crossguard and will continue to get better as we move into this server at full force. We are always looking for skilled players to join our team, so dont be shy!

We have many great people to play with

I want to remind prospective recruits we do have a set raid schedule, but our target group is the semi-casual mind set. We have many active members, some of which are alt-a-holics (Might have to consider a support group!), that simply want to enjoy raiding and playing with a nice group of people.

Don't get me wrong, we have some who used to raid hard-core "back in the day" who now give priority to job and family. They provide valuable information and help for those who never had the chance or came later to the game. We appreciate these knowledgeable people who are also relaxed enough to not worry it's not always a perfectly well-oiled machine.

With that said, we welcome new and returning players and want to stress that those joining us need to be the sort that are warm, welcoming, and can be patient with newer players still learning things.

So, if you want to raid and need a set EST schedule (Tues/Thurs 8p-11p and Sat 7p-11p), are willing to work with players still learning (or are one yourself!), or simply want to have people to play with during the day or non-raid nights, then check us out at our website and put in an application! We do ask all applicants to join us in TS so we can get to know them. It is not required you use it all the time, though we do require it for raids.

PS: We are good on tanks, but have room for more rangers, bards, and clerics on Saturdays, especially.

We have been raiding 2 weeks on our set schedule and it's been going well! It's so great working with everyone, both new and old to the game!

We are still accepting applications, but let it be known we have quite a few Shadow Knights, Enchanters, and Necromancers!
We have a decent amount of clerics and all are active, but timing is sometimes a problem. Real life comes first and we at CrossGuard respect that!

So, if you are a Cleric and like to raid Saturday nights, we have room for you.
Other classes we have room for on raid nights are: Wizards, Shamans, Paladins, and Monks. While we DO have room for other classes not mentioned, they might fill up more quickly depending on on interest.

As a reminder: CrossGuard is a semi-casual mindset with a set raiding schedule of 3 nights a week. We strive to weed out elitist mindsets (Or even change them!), provide a family-like atmosphere, and find many ways to work together to achieve in-game goals while respecting that we each have real life obligations to attend to. We whole-heartedly believe the Phinigel server can provide a great experience to it's players and that CrossGuard is one of several guilds working to make it a reality.

Just a little update on Crossguard for everyone,

The guild has officially been formed now for 5 weeks on the server and we have now downed Nagafen, Vox, Cazic-Thule, Phinigel, and the first 4 islands of Sky. Now that the patch has gone live to fix the instancing on the server, we will be downing Master Yael, Innoruuk, and the the remaining islands in sky in the coming weeks.

We are also still recruiting for our raid team, and are specifically looking for more Bards and Shamans.

Great bunch of people! Lots of ole school raiders and casuals, a few couples as well. We are always helping & encouraging grouping with fellow guildies. Easily have 35+ on a night. Our teamspeak is always booming with all kinds of groupings, topics and discussions.

We do not have a strong need for any class when it comes to our raid team. You are welcome to put in an application and we can discuss our needs in combination to what you can bring to the guild. Just keep in mind we have very little room. Some nights some may have to wait on the sidelines.
There is no limit on classes for those not raiding regularily or focusing on only group content and tradeskills.

As of 2/20/2016 all classic content is on farm.

We are so very excited to see Kunark is going live this coming Wednesday, March 2nd!

While we always love meeting and getting to know new people, please understand we simply do not have room on our raid team for more than perhaps Warriors and Rogues at this time.

However, if you are just wanting to play with friends and family there is plenty of times outside of raid you can group with our members! In general, we try hard to have a good time while getting things accomplished. We discourage any type of behavior that results in drama and unpleasant gameplay. It simply helps to make for a better server!

While one can not control every aspect of every occurrence, CrossGuard's main goal is in support of those with real life responsibilities that have the drive and the ability to learn to work together as a team. Gaming might not be our top priority, but we view it as an activity that can be utilized to create a spirit of fun, healthy competition, and even growth with the right people.

Because we feel Phinigel is such a promising server that can hold various guilds successfully without causing undue drama, CrossGuard would like to officially proclaim that the guild Progress Lost may be a good alternative to those truly wishing to raid since they have a similar personality in the event we do not have room on our raid team for your favorite class.

In the meantime, we will keep up our own raiding schedule and will be taking Kunark on by storm!

Crossguard is always looking for like minded people that like to raid on a set schedule (Tues, Thurs, Sat EST evenings) that can be relaxed enough for those learning content while still being reliable.

CrossGuard was created to encourage reasonable, but well organized, game-play that should not infringe upon one's ability to live, work, and take care of family and/or other life's obligations.

With that being said, We are not here to just give you a handout. We help those who not only help themselves, but are willing to help others. We are a team! More then that, we should be working together enough that we become friends and those who encourage one another in positive ways.

Reminder: We are not hardcore! There are plenty of other active guilds that can fit that play-style. We are a raiding guild that looks to community. We are not here to be #1, but we still get things done
