It depends: A NA + EU merge may happen, given the small playerbase. A Switch + other platforms merge depends on Nintendo and Sony approving <- I REALLY want this so I can migrate my account to the switch. BUT I also presume that the reallocation of the resources may help on issues that affect all servers, like latency on switch side and the infamous memory leak on the pc side. We can expect good things from this cancellation, tbh. Personally, I think that it's safe to be optimistic now.
