Price on Complex Mats Outrageous

I don't see the problem with running lower tier stuff to get simple and complex. Unless you have all the feats for alerts/duos/challenges....most people need to run them anyway so you can kill two birds with one stone. You run them and get closer to the 500 feat mark plus greed or need on gear to salvage...

I ran the Catwoman challenge on 3 different characters this weekend just to test salvaging.
Since there are 5 boss fights in this Tier 2 Solo challenge, you will get 5 Blue Items plus a chance to get a Purple Item on Catwoman.
In my case, I also received the weekly award box which has a chance for an item.

Salvage results:

• Run 1: 5 Mayan Items + Purple Box Item - Salvaged 3 Complex + 3 Simple
• Run 2: 5 Mayan Items + Catwoman Legs - Salvaged 3 Complex + 2 Simple + Focusing Element
• Run 3: 5 Mayan Items + Blue Box Item - Salvaged 2 Complex + 3 Simple + Focusing Element

This is the solo challenge that I typically run when I am low on Materials as all of the drops are Blue.
