New Exclusive Auras and your Favorite Marketplace Items Return in the New Booster Bundle!

We were talking about the description on the marketplace (in-game). There is no mention of a "random aura" there.

By the way, I find it genuinely horrifying that people like you try to sugar coat intentionally misleading marketing-scams like this one. I find it shocking that there are people like you who defend giant corporations that intentionally scam their customers.

It's a total money grab (leaning towards scam), but as far as I'm concerned the replay badges and all that stuff are worth atleast a fraction of the price. I'm pretty sure though if they made it so every booster pack had either of the new (wanted auras) they would sell much more than what they do now.
To me auras are a bonus (if I get a special one than oh well, but it gives me a chance to stalk up on replays R&D's and all that good stuff.
But anyone expecting to get a special aura when they buy a pack should be slapped (not likely to happen)

Now that I've read through these other pages. I find People talking themselves out of what they want as customers. It's pathetic really. Take a stand for once, and stop arguing among yourselves. My title may say "New Member", but I'm not a new member to society.

Yeah I know they do. That's why it's stated in the TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Not the PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL that you see advertising the tickets. Which is exactly what we're discussing here. We're not discussing the terms and conditions behind purchasing the Booster Bundle. So again, you have failed to make a point.

Look I'm really sorry you lost your chance (not really, though). It's a real shame that you feel so violated. But all the promotional material I've seen for this offer has been crystal clear and self-explanatory. You're the one who didn't read and interpret the advert properly so you're the one to blame. I knew exactly what I was getting into when I bought mine. I also bought mine for great offer that it is and not because I believed I had a shot at winning a rare aura.

Also, might I remind you that this is a bundle of marketplace items being sold at a discounted price? There's nothing vague about what you get for your money. I don't see how offering $30 worth of marketplace stuff for $20 is "taking a massive dump on our paying customers" either. Nobody forced anyone to buy the bundle and those that did saved $10 on the items they received in the package.

I would like that they made exclusive Aura's "Feat unlock" so if you buy one or get one you can have on all characters created.

You're obviously the type of person who simply cannot admit that they're wrong. It's a terrible tactic to essentially say "I got it, so whoever doesn't get it must be stupid". So now you're just being a sore loser. But good luck with that, you'll need it.

I do have some sympathy for those who didn't get an aura and bought more than one box in towards to the goal of getting one. Personally I went in for the box contents and was lucky enough to get a red plasma on the first try (don't hate me) but that said consider the following.

At least on USPC, the plasmas are going for 7-10M in trade chat. If you bought 1 or more boxes you should easily have enough RnD scanners to get 1.5-2 M per box (~at least 3 stacks x 90-120k x 5 scanners) and enough collection scanners to get atleast 4-6M (farm metro for Class A, Superboy and Oan collections, each of which should be a quick sell for 500k to 1.5M).

So after one box you could potentially have enough to buy one in trade (again USPC not sure bout other servers) and certainly 2 or more boxes should give you more than enough.

Again, I'm not defending the approach taken, just suggesting a way to make lemonade.

Seriously, SOE, put these new auras on the marketplace, even for a limited time, and you'll get more of my money. Sell a tintable fire aura and you'll get more yet.

Just want to jump in and say "Thanks for fixing the original plasmic aura so quickly."

I saw the green plasmic pic before it was fixed.
Very ugly.
But still...
I want it for my ghost concept toon!!!

I fully expect that the green version will become available at some point. It just didn't suit my blue-skinned Quantum character.

Original Plasmic is fixed in PS3, but in PS4 it still looks green.

I also hope this Bundle never re-appears. It just feels bad and like a rip-off to spend money and not get what you want. Please, consider just adding new auras in the style tab of the Marketplace next time! The more and more I play the game and spend money in it, the more I feel I'm at a casino. That's not a good sign.

Mepps when the booster bundle returns again could you guys put the first Aura that was release last time able to be bought or is that one in there too?

I bought 2 booster bundles and got white and GREEN AURA baby. I have had bad luck getting the Green Aura normally those lock boxes give me styles instead of Aura I have moved more styles to my alts than my main even collects at least now my Alt Green Lantern William Jordan has an Aura now boo ya.

Last Friday, 1st box I bought got Dark Blue aura. Tried again today, got Nimbus, was really hoping for a blue plasmic. Guess I'll hold on to the Nimbus until the bundle ends

How is this a $30 value? The replay badges are exactly the amount you'd get for $15 and, other than the aura, the rest is garbage! Vault tickets? I go to the vault everyday and get a measly $150 and a bunch of garbage. The r&D scanners and the radar enhancers are useless because we all already have our bit farming down and we can just google a map of all the briefings and investigations. Even the repair bots are useless because we can repair at the beginning of every alert and every time you're knocked out you go back to this point again anyway. No body sucks that much at this game that they would need to repair in the middle of an alert. so thanks for the badges that I could have pretty much bought on my own and at least I get an aura out of it. I'm not spending $20 on the CHANCE of getting a new aura I might like. if I were to get a crappy white or blue aura I would be pissed I even bought the whole thing! its a rip off that you even put the chance of getting one of those auras that you can get from a lock box in there. There should only be chances of getting plastic or nimbus auras

I totally agree with this...we r spending the money already in this game and by now almost everyone has the old lockbox auras...and to insult us by having the bundle packs cor 20 dollars and only a bare chance to get something we get once or twice a week is an insult to all of us...make these exclusive since thats what everyone is payin the money for in the first place..

By reinforcing the mentality this represents and putting this stupid bundle out there again, instead of putting the mother #$(*)@&#)($*& auras in the marketplace like we've been asking them to do when we came up with the idea on the forums years ago, it spells out that this studio is not prepared to take the game seriously enough to set aside it's dodgy tactics that hurt the game more than help. SOE's leadership is perpetually flawed. Nuff said.

Speak for yourself I'm not done bit farming and as for the collections blues and greens every new content has them sure its just for styles now a days but you can't google if your team your with is speeding through and you only have seconds to pick it up or be kicked. No one waits for anyone in this game their all in a rush.

Further I'm surprised the Devs don't sue every single person out there that records and post new content item location and greens and blue locations. These people are stealing possible money out of the devs pockets It one thing to show off gear but locations should be under a non disclosure policy for anyone playing on the test servers.
