How do not count, Xanadu, and Clyde movies?

I love all...I'm sorry any movie with Olvia is gold in my mind...lol

Also Clyde, defined right turns growing up.
Nothing to add with supes nd Star Wars, great as is.

Good points. I guess I don't discount them, it's just that I was so young that just them being movies was enough to blow my mind.
I guess I'd have to add all the Grease movies as well then.

I do re-watch all that stuff, so I guess it does count.
    My bad.

    Xanadu really does rule.

I guess I am kind of a movie guy then, or used to be.
I'm really pretty cynical about the new stuff and kinda becoming a cranky old man when I see trailers.

Ronin is my favorite movie. Great ensemble cast, great vibe, the most macguffin macguffin that ever macguffin'd, and excellent unspoken subtones. Best car chase scenes next to French Connection.

My current favorite film is Valhalla Rising. I seem to be the only person that likes this film besides my girl friend.

I like too many movies to list a single all time favorite but a few that come to mind:

    Shock Corridor
    Brazil
    The Warriors
    Barton Fink
    The Shining
    The Beyond
    Apocalypse Now
    The Conversation
    Once Upon a Time West

Answer Hellraiser. The original novella by Clive Barker is The Hellbound Heart. I got so freaked out when I first saw that movie I had to go hang out in the bathroom for awhile before I could go back into the theater. It also made my 12 year old self afraid of Hell. The makeup effects for Frank still hold up.

There is only one Bruce Campbell, and no one will fill those shoes. They shouldn't even call the character Ash.

Love them. I have the special edition dvd Re-Animator that has the pen that looks like the syringe. I miss when movies were like that.
