I disagree. I think his combat ability is absolutely kraken.

That's kind of a problem with "most" of the allies. You gotta get very close for them to see the enemies and pray they don't land on a different plane and they just twiddle their thumbs right next to the enemy until they despawn...

All the allies I’ve tried have been a little capricious, so I kind of expect it at this point. A bummer, but one thing at a time.
