i think i got a win win for all parties. the dcuo devs dcuo itself and the paying customer. add a second build to legendary members. so simple. once people try these they will want more. pvpers are a shoe in for a third. the guys looking to profit off this still make the same cash, close to it or potentially more. how so? you think adding armories my way wont increase legendary sales atleast %2? doesn't sound like a big number but %2 gain in membership sales has to put more money in their pocket than this plan. i mean 52 pages of this is awfull. my way sell legendary which strengthens the game and probably makes the paying customers happier than any solution these guys can come up with. wins for everyone

Honey you've now posted 6, 7 times the same idea. You aren't giving anyone a chance to read and respond to it. Take a breath, let the idea sit, check back in the morning to see what folks have to say. You are in danger of being ignored as a spammer if you keep it up.

(PS that's not a condescending honey. I'm a mom and it's a term of endearment, cross my heart hehe)

The problem is, you can not add a second legendary tier due to the changes being made to the all access pass. Sadly, that option of the pay a little more each month and get everything is a no go. The focus needs to stay on what majority of the community sees as a price for value equality, or fair pricing.

PS players tend to forget how different it is for PC players. We can't even dream of one low charge for (what on PS would be a) season pass on ALL games.

so why not go for customer satisfaction and huge profits? add a second build to legendary members and be done with it. armories will still sell and hey people especially your paying customers will feel happy and valued. plus the best part for dcuo the game and the powers that be. legendary sales would have to increase. even at %2 increase how long if not in month 1 would they make more of legendary sales then armories? if you were paying for an armory for luxury instead of needing to actually effectively use them i wouldn't care about buying a 15 pack. however this way..... sorry my legendary expired last night b4 i could call them and cancel over this

Well, with PS2 going to the PS4 and the head of SOE already hinting to some form of a port for EQN and EQNL it sounds like that the bundle price is going to be an option for you all soon too.

Oh don't get me started. I don't have a PS4 but finding out that EQN was going to be on it sure got my gears grinding about that.. and thinking about it makes me seperate from DCUO (having started my MMORPG odyssey on EQ beta after mudding in textworld for years) *chuckle* I loved my EQ experience so much I paid to travel to EQ conventions when they weren't bundled with SONY conventions. I was the OGG (Original Gamer Girl) at those things and there's this lure to the EQ realm in my brain... hehe

I wont ride the tangent...but there is always a draw in your blood to the old EQ players. It calls us home.

So much so that I started a league of me, myself, and a couple of friends that carries the name of my EQ Zebuxoruk guild (number 1 guild on a server that bit the dust long ego in a merge lol). Just to keep the flame alive... hehehe

And to keep the flame alive....Armories are still too expensive. (a nice segway I know)

Not precisely better for me since i can only afford to go legendary a few months a year, but it would definitely make legendary more enticing.

Still i think it would be better to just make them affordable to a larger number of players, perhaps do a combination of both. Idk, I'm anxious to see what the official response is. :)

Thank you I was just guilting myself over the off-topic dive hahahha

Too expensive for single use! No sliding scale price plans, it's brutish pressure to buy more at one time that people may not want / be able to buy! (i made that picket sign with glitter, you like?)

i like what you say but maybe i can 1 up you. how about they just toss in a second amory for the legendary fellas? i believe you want to increase sales offer a great product at a great price. come on the ability to use armories wouldn't sell atleast some memberships? clearly my way there would not be 52 plus pages of outrage. seriously plenty of people once they get a taste of armories will then buy more so they will still sell. plus any increase to legendary sales is a win and a happier client base. i think my way long term earns them more money. stronger product stronger sales. SIMPLE SCIENCE

I will say things like the armories are one of the reasons I despise the F2P model and always have. With a monthly sub game you get every new tweak at no additional cost, or as a one time charge for an expansion. I know those days are dead, but things like these make me mourn for the old days of MMORPG's. This strategy is just sad and shows little thanks to the paying community.

i don't know what you mean a second legendary tier. i meant a second build or second armory. giving us the ability to switch between two different roles because we are legendary. that has to increase legendary sales and armories surely would sell.
  16. lukelucky Devoted Player

from you perspective your point is fair. i think we have to put what is best for the game ahead of everything. i want this game to be here for ps5 you know. the main goal has to be profit and the best way clearly is to grow the legendary memberships. for guys like you i hope there is a solution but from a business standpoint i still think my way is the best middle ground. again i hope it works out for guys like you. micro transactions saved the game they say but with out a solid legendary clientel this game is over

fair thanks. lol with 52 pages i spammed just to make sure i wasn't over looked. do you like my idea though?

Umm, what exactly is the " majority of the community sees as a price for value equality, or fair pricing"

Sounds like some kind of implement of socialism. All these members griping and complaining about cost need to look at a bigger picture. Playing and memberships are Choices, not demands. If you cant afford it, dont gripe at devs because you dont have it on your pay pal card or whatever it is you use. You are not entitled, you are a customer and the devs know already they can't maker everyone happy. Guess its time to make some life skill decisions eh?

Oh good gravy in a hole-nerfed boat.

Once again, *sigh*, it has nothing to do with what people can afford, but what is reasonable, especially when brought in line with all previous DLC / marketplace items.

Socialism? Really? If you support the current price structure, say that. If you can defend it reasonably, do so. Don't jump on financial assumptions and political declarations. Defend your position logically, man. Otherwise, it's oddly ironic that someone shouting "socialism" has a username that comes oddly close to "KGB". *raises one eyebrow and chuckles*
