I couldn't get into Record of Lodoss War.... as a Dungeon and Dragons player... it was way too 80's generic and ....makes me laugh way too hard to actually finish watching.
Ahh, anime... a major part of my love for animated works, period. Here is my list of faves and what I have seen so far. Like some people who have posted before me, most of my list consists of older anime Dangiaoh Baoh Kimera The Heroic Record of Arslan RG Veda Blood Reign Black Lion Crying Freeman The Fist of the Northstar The Legend of Crystania Ninja Scroll Ghost in the Shell Record of Lodoss War Record of Lodos War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight Galaxy Railway 999 Please Save My Earth Oh My Goddess MD Geist MD Geist 2: Death Force 3x3 Eyes Bubblegum Crisis New Dominion Tank Police Appleseed (original) Black Magic-M66 Project Ako Cutey Honey Harlock Saga Interstella 5555 Samurai Showdown Tekken Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie Solbianca The Wings of Honnemise Original Dirty Pair The Professional: Golgo 13 My Neighbor Totoro Princess Mononoke Spirited Away Nausicaa In The Valley of the Wind Kiki's Delivery Service Whispers of the Heart Castle in the Sky Howl's Moving Castle Mermaid Forest Afro Samurai Vampire Princess Miyu Vampire Hunter D Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust Akira Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play Ranma 1/2 Devilman Silent Mobius Space Pirate Captain Harlock Slayers Macross Plus Cowboy Bebop Darkstalkers Wicked City Ergo Proxy Gundam Wing Outlaw Star Dragon Half Neon Genesis Evangelion Origin: Spirits of the Past Demon City Grave of the Fireflies Tales of Earthsea Steamboy Detonator Orgun Lain Perfect Blue Key: The Metal Idol Armitage (1,2,3) Sea Prince and Fire Child Sorcerer Hunters Giant Robo (orginal) Genocyber Battleship Yamoto Phoenix Maison Ikkoku Nadia, The Secret of Blue Water Trinity Blook Samurai 7 Fatal Fury X-The Movie Super Atragon Poltergeist Report (Yu Yu Hakusho) Zone of Enders Queen Emeraldas Legend of the Dragon Kings Legend of Lemnear Harmegedon Gigantor Doomed Megopolis A.D. No Room for Tenchi! Patlabor The Skycrawlers A Chinese Ghost Story Angel Cop Cyber City Zoids Ronin Warriors Wolf's Rain This is all I could think of for now. Warning: Some anime on my list should only be for 17+ viewers; for example, Kekko Kamen and Cutey Honey lose their clothing as they fight crime. I have highlighted those in red. Others such as Original Dirty Pair are boderline and rely on the opinion of the viewer.
I have too much anime to keep on any hard drive; some of them I still own on VHS because they never came out for DVD or they are out of print on DVD and cost too much.
How about: Ranma 1/2 Yu Yu Hakusho Patlabor 1 & 2 Samurai Pizza Cats Cyber City Oedo 808 New Dominion Tank Police
Speaking of movies that should only be seen by viewers aged 17+ Surprised I have not seen anyone mention Wicked City.
You know, I thought of that movie and others; however, in my opinion the youth of today have seen many types of violent movies that makes Wicked City look "campy". That is the reason why I did not put Wicked City, Demon City, Devil Man and others like them in red. Kekko Kamen and Cutey Honey have gratuitous nudity, so that's why I highlighted those.
I meant to say besides you, I have not seen it in a while but remember it being pretty racy. Such a crazy movie.
