    Fearsome Scarecrow

    Attack: Fear the Reaper; Swings a construct scythe at your foes, doing AOE damage and inflicting a DoT

    Passive 1: Fear Gas Bomb; When the player is hit with a control effect they cause panic in a radius around themselves to foes

    Passive 2: Black Birds; When the player applies a debuff to a foe, that foe is surrounded by a murder of hallucination crows which extend the duration of the debuff by x amount of time


    Deathstroke the Terminator

    Attack: Elimination; Slade appears behind your foe, impaling them with his sword, doing double damage if they are below 35% health

    Passive 1: Cunning Trap; When the player performs a roll they leave behind a proximity mine that does AoE damage and knocks down foes (can only occur every x amount of seconds)

    Passive 2: Ikon; When the player blocks a dangerous attack (red skull icon) a small portion of the damage is reflected back to the attacker


    Deadshot

    Attack: Trick Shot; Deadshot takes aim with his rifle and fires a shot that bounces between foes (up to x amount of times)

    Passive 1: Contract Confirmed; When the player achieves a critical hit the foe is marked, causing it to take double damage from the player’s attacks for x amount of time

    Passive 2: Hyper Lethal; Defeating a foe with a finisher buffs the player’s precision stat by x percent for x amount of time


    James Gordon

    Attack: Non-Lethal Force; Commissioner Gordon tosses a tear gas grenade at your foes, placing an AoE that applies slow and reduces the foes’ damage output

    Passive 1: Back-Up Requested; When the player activates a Henchmen/Back-up trinket one additional “unit” is added to that group as well as increasing their total damage by x amount

    Passive 2: Read Them Their Rights; When the player stuns or encases a foe they received the following debuffs; healing reduction and defense reduction


    Black Manta

    Attack: Manta Rays; Black Manta fires his helmet’s ray blast at foes, doing AoE damage and knocking them down

    Passive 1: Harpoon Attack; When the player uses a pull on a foe, that foe is slowly dragged towards the player for x amount of time, causing slow

    Passive 2: It’s a Trap; When the player is knocked down a manta bomb is placed under them which detonates after x amount of time causing AoE damage and knocking down nearby foes


    Owlman

    Attack: Dirty Trick; Owlman ambushes your foe, handcuffing them and planting a bomb in their pocket. The player’s next attack detonates the bomb causing a DoT to the foe and those surrounding it

    Passive 1: Gotham’s Fear; When the player activates Stealth they become immune to control effects for x amount of time and receive a damage buff of x percent on their next attack

    Passive 2: Escape Artist; When the player activates an aggro-dump ability they emit an AoE of stun and apply a DoT to nearby foes

  6. Drake Malice Dedicated Player

    Ultraviolet Sinestro

    Attack: Unleash Your Fears; Sinestro uses the Ultraviolet light to panic foes within an AoE while inflicting a DoT for x amount of time

    Passive 1: Umbrax’s Influence; When the player applies a debuff on a foe they become surrounded by Umbrax’s ultraviolet light for x amount of time which pulls nearby foes to the afflicted foe. This can only occur every x amount of time

    Passive 2: Hidden Emotions; When the player activates a Supply Drop an Ultraviolet Construct is summoned to attack nearby foes for x amount of time. This construct applies slow to foes it damages


    Vice

    Attack: Raging Bull; Vice charges towards the nearest foe and causes an AoE of knockdown. Vice then vanishes in an explosion of plasma that causes damage in an AoE

    Passive 1: From Within; When the player’s health reaches x percent (low number) their might and precision are raised by x percent for x amount of time

    Passive 2: Purge; When the player loses x percent of health (high number) in x amount of time (low number) an AoE pool of boiling plasma appears beneath them, causing a DoT to foes and a HoT to allies


    Brainiac (Vril Dox)

    Attack: Bottling Process; Brainiac fires his digitization ray (shrink ray) at your foe, reducing their damage resistance and damage output by x amount for x amount of time. In addition the affected foe is slowed for x amount of time (low number) and then encased for x amount of time

    Passive 1: 12th Level Intellect; When the player activates a weapon buff the cooldown of their henchmen/back-up, orbital strike, and supply drop trinkets is reduced by x percent

    Passive 2: Skull Ship; When the player makes a critical hit there is a x percent chance that an orbital blast from Brainiac’s Skull Ship will strike your foe, causing a DoT and knocking them down


    Bane

    Attack: Break Them; Bane rushes towards your foe and knocks them into the air, followed by causing a large AoE impact which knocks down surrounding foes

    Passive 1: Experimental Dosage; When the player applies a weapon buff they also increase their might and health by x amount for the duration. This can only occur every x seconds

    Passive 2: Brilliant Tactician; When the player performs a critical hit all nearby party members receive a weapon buff of x amount for x amount of time, this effect stacks up to x amount


    Doomsday

    Attack: The Punch That Killed Superman; Doomsday charges up a delayed strike that does x amount more damage if the foe is below x amount of health and causes an extended knockdown. Afterwards Doomsday leaps away while the force of his jump pulls foes into its crater

    Passive 1: Doomsday Virus; When the player performs a breakout they activate a DoT AoE around themselves for x amount of time that also buffs nearby party members with damage resistance

    Passive 2: Infinite Evolution; When the player is afflicted by a debuff or status effect they become immune to that specific debuff or status effect once it wears off for x amount of time (high number)


    Black Adam

    Attack: Kahndaq’s Wrath; Black Adam flies towards a foe and says the magic word, causing a massive AoE of stun and DoT, followed by Adam pounding the ground knocking foes into the air

    Passive 1: Wizard’s Gift; When the player is affected by a control effect they replenish the power of themselves and party members by x amount

    Passive 2: Ultimate Wisdom; When the player is affected by a HoT their movement speed is increased by x amount for x amount of time, in addition to this the player radiates an AoE HoT to party members

  7. FoolsFire Devoted Player

    The Spectre

    Attack: Ethereal spirits wrap around target. X level expands circumference to include nearby enemies and increase damage. (Spirits from Spectre solo)

    Passive 1: Spirit hands from the ground hold target and nearby enemies in place and lowers X% defense. (Hands from Blackest Day Operation)

    Passive 2: An arc of green flaming balls spread outward from your character. The higher the level the farther they travel and more damage they do as they touch enemies. (Zatanna's attack from Kahndaq raid)

    Johnny Quick

    Attack: Too Fast For You; Johnny dashes towards your foes, quickly bouncing between them and causing a stun followed by a large amount of damage based on how many were hit

    Passive 1: Now You See Me; When the player performs a lunge attack the foe is marked. The mark causes slow and can stack up to x times. When the stack reaches x number the foe is stunned and rooted

    Passive 2: Now You Don’t; When the player performs a breakout nearby foes are knocked down and the player and their party receive a movement speed buff of x percent for x amount of time


    Brother Blood

    Attack: Drown In Blood; Brother Blood channels a drain on your foe which siphons its health and transfers it to nearby party members. At the end of the channel a blood bubble bursts from the foe, causing a DoT to other nearby foes

    Passive 1: Cult of Personality; When the player performs a critical heal all affected party members receive the following buff for x amount of time: AoE damage taken by the player is converted into a HoT that stacks up to x times. (This effect can only occur every x amount of time)

    Passive 2: Demagogue; When the player’s pet, trinket pet/turret, henchmen/back-up, or sidekick deals damage to a foe apply a damage shield to the lowest health party member that can absorb x amount of damage for x amount of time


    Darkseid

    Attack: Omega Beams; Darkseid locks onto a foe and fires his Omega Beams at them. Once the beams connect the foe is stunned, damaged, and receives a DoT for x amount of time. At the end of the attack the foe also explodes, knocking down other nearby foes

    Passive 1: Darkseid Is; When the player performs a finisher the foe receives a healing reduction and movement speed debuff. In addition the player receives a power heal for x amount of time

    Passive 2: Boom Tube Backup; When the player is stunned, rooted, or encased a Parademon is summoned. The Parademon lunges at the nearest foe and explodes, dealing AoE damage and knocking down nearby foes


    Larfleeze

    Attack: Take Everything; Larfleeze swoops in and encases foes in a radius within a construct. Affected foes receive a DoT while the player receives a power HoT for x amount of time. Larfleeze then shatters the encased foes causing damage multiplied based on how many foes were affected

    Passive 1: It’s All Mine; When the player activates a Supply Drop an Orange Battery Construct is summoned that leeches the health of nearby foes and transfers it to the player for x amount of time

    Passive 2: Avarice Unleashed; When the player carries an objective item or activates an objective item they receive an Orange Hardlight damage shield and become immune to control effects for x amount of time . In addition if the player drops an objective item nearby foes in a radius are knocked down


    Dex-Starr

    Attack: Cat’s Claws; Dex-Starr flies past foes, rooting them in place and applying a DoT for x amount of time. Dex-Starr then pulls all nearby foes to himself and explodes in a blast of plasma, dealing damage and knocking affected foes down

    Passive 1: Unbridled Rage; When a party member is downed the player becomes immune to control effects and receives a weapon buff for x amount of time

    Passive 2: Red Light; When the player performs a pull they become surrounded by an aura of boiling plasma that causes slow to nearby foes for x amount of time. In addition the affected foe pulls other nearby foes with it


    Solomon Grundy

    Attack: Slaughter Swamp Showdown; Solomon Grundy leaps into the air and lands on your foe causing an AoE of damage and stunning affected foes. Grundy then spins around, swinging a large tombstone which knocks affected foes down

    Passive 1: Dead Rising; When the player is downed they can use Revive to Rally themselves once every x amount of time (high number). This shares a cooldown with the Lazarus Pit Water artifact

    Passive 2: Grave Mistake; When the player activates an Orbital Strike the targeted foe is rooted in place by grasping zombie hands. The affected foe is also afflicted with a damage resistance debuff

    Great thread, I had been thinking of this for sometime. I am surprised no one has mentioned Murk in any capacity, and if they had, I simply overlooked it. Murk effectively would be the hardest hitting ally in the game if he performed the way he does in Themyscira and Flashpoint content. I am listing two abilities for the combat because either one is a great option. Perhaps Murk can be the first ally to have two combat abilities and only one support ability leaving him with fewer, but very strong options. He could be an Epic Ally if he only has one combat and one support ability, Legendary Ally if he has the two with the one support ability.

    Ally: Murk

    Combat ability Option 1 (not sure what his pushback is called): Savage Blitz - Knocks back enemies and pummels foes into oblivion for a total of three AoE pushbacks, each stronger than the last. 60 second cooldown.

    Combat ability Option 2: Gut Hook: Murk channels his gut hook for ten ticks of single target damage, doing 100 % damage on the first tick, followed by nine ticks of 10% of his max damage. 90 second cooldown.

    Support ability: Mutineer's Assault - Each time an enemy is struck with a weapon attack, there's a chance to receive a 5% increase to weapon damage dealt upon the next cast of a shield ability. The increase in weapon damage lasts for 9 seconds or for 10 weapon attacks, whichever is reached first. 30 second cooldown.

    Personally, I would like an ally that would not be an iconic character, I will not prescribe passive and active skills, just the type of ally:

    In the rare category, I would like 4 allies: 1 is a random demon ally, 2 is a random robot ally, 3 is a random scientist ally, 4 is a random undead ally...

    In the "epic" ally category, I would like to see: 1. a random exobite hero or villain, 2. a miniature exobite, the embodiment of which is almost invisible so that we can claim that this skill is not an ally, but ours ....

    In the "legendary" ally category, I would like to see: a "clone" of our own character from another universe....

    Martian Manhunter

    Attack: Martian Ambush; Martian Manhunter phases through the ground and appears behind your foe and then blasts them with psychic energy, stunning them. Then Martian Manhunter phases back into the ground leaving behind an AoE that panics foes within its radius

    Passive 1: It Came From Mars; When the player stubs or roots a foe it becomes unbreakable for its duration. In addition when the player is afflicted by a stun or root they emit a psychic blast which knocks down nearby foes

    Passive 2: Molecular Phasing; When the player attempts to block a dangerous attack (red skull icon) there is a x percent chance that they will become phased for x amount of time, causing the attack to miss completely


    Ultraman

    Attack: Heat Vision; Ultraman flies to the nearest foe and performs a channeled heat vision attack while rotating, applying the burn status on all foes hit. Then Ultraman stomps the ground knocking down all nearby foes before flying away

    Passive 1: Kryptonite Snack; When the player activates a consumable they receive a Kryptonite aura for x amount of time that has the following effects: The player and nearby party members receive a damage resistance buff while nearby foes receive a damage resistance debuff

    Passive 2: The One They Fear; When the player successfully performs a counter the foe is marked for x amount of time. Marked foes are struck by a heat vision blast from orbit after x amount of time (low number), applying a DoT


    Eclipso

    Attack: Twilight Blast; Eclipso appears behind your foe and unleashed a large AoE that causes a stun for x amount of time followed by a blast that knocks down all affected foes

    Passive 1: From Light To Dark; When the player applies a debuff to a foe they receive a beneficial buff equivalent for x amount of time (example: healing taken debuff = healing taken buff)

    Passive 2: From Dark To Light; When the player is stunned, rooted, or encased the foes that applied the effect is also affected by the same effect. This can only occur every x amount of time

    Ally: Blackfire (Whenever she makes it into the game, hopefully soon....we need Tamaranian content!!!)
    She deserves to be Legendary tbh so 2 passives it is. Just getting creative here.

    Combat: Throwing a barrage of Dark Starbolts at enemy and it does damage over time.

    Passive 1: Royal Protection
    shields you and up to 3 Injured allies for 10s

    Passive 2: For The Queen
    Steal health from allies when you are around 25% health
  14. Tolly Committed Player

    Red Tornado

    Active: Summons several tornadoes and sweeps away everything in its path

    Passive: Use the wind to push the adds too close to you

    Streaky The Kryptonian Feline:

    Active: Frost Breath. Does damage over time and stuns adds and slows bosses.

    Passive: NINE LIVES, lol. As you level Streaky you get an increasing chance at a REVIVE if you're knocked out in combat. This could be a CRUCIAL thing in elite content.

    Katana

    Active Ability: "This is Katana..." Katana unleasches a flury of slashes with her magic sword, striking the enemy (W/X/Y/Z) times.

    Passive 1: "She's got my back..." Katana protects you when you are vulnerable. When you drop below 25% health, Katana reduces incoming damage by (W/X/Y/Z)% for T seconds. Cannot occur more frequently than once per minute.

    Passive 2: "I'd advise not getting killed by her..." Katana has an (W/X/Y/Z)% chance to generate a blue power-restoring orb upon the death of an enemy. This effect cannot occur more than once per X seconds.

    Fire (Aka Green Flame aka Beatriz da Costa) Epic
    Active: Fires a flaming cascade against the target that causes explosions every time it hits. Dealing damage to surrounding enemies.
    Passive 1: Flame body - Upon being hit, ignores 50% of incoming damage for 5 seconds with a cooldown of 30 seconds. (At max rank.)

    Ice (aka Ice Maiden aka Tora Olafsdotter) Epic
    Active: Freezes non boss enemies and causes them to collide with targeted enemy damaging them and setting up the frostbitten PI. (Think Ultraman.)
    Passive 1: Cryokinetic - Attacks and being freezes enemies, causing them to take more damage when hit. Up to 7% more damage. (Bosses just take more damage and do not freeze.)

    John Stewart:

    active ability:

    Single target

    John sets into position and fires a single shot from his hard light sniper rifle causing a localized aoe on impact.

    Passives:

    Solid Construction:

    Shields and Shield like abilities are 10 percent stronger


    Kill em with Kindness:

    Doing Damage sends out passive heals based on your restoration (maybe dom) to you group.


    Still workshopping this one. The idea is to use Indego Lantern John Stewart so there won't be an oversaturation of Greens.


    It will benefit DPS with a massive nuke damage ability and support roles by having increased shields and some additional healing

    Since Amazo absorbs/imitates powers maybe he’d be interesting to see after a few more main characters get added or 8 more Batman’s xD

    Longer need grim for PI) yes there is alternatives to those but thought this would be neat

    Someone (Magnetofirstclass) mentioned that his attack ability could be a cycle of different JL member powers; for example 1 main power per each flash, SM, WW, manhunter, Lantern.. etc and it would randomly select similar to BWL luck of the draw
