So... am i the only one whos enjoying this weapon for mid range combat as a HA?
Personaly the only attachments i have acquired so far are the 2X reflex and the compensator, and im personaly looking at the advanced laser scope and the forward grip but im rather stumped on which one i want.

Would love recomendations from people who use this gun regularly.

    Bump -_-

Polaris with adv. Laser is sooo good... you can strafe and run around and still hit where you aim... i love this weapon!
Best Vanu LMG for medium-close range imho!

Alright, thanks for the feedback, the abv. laser sight is what i was leaning more towards :p

    Bump, again!

    what you bumpin?
    Leave people some time.

I personally aspire to acquire a Polaris, It's like a Pulsar, slower, but better hipfire.
The Advanced Laser Sight would really be the only reason for me to get it; waiting on whenever it happens to get a discount.
I would replace my Pandora with it; Quite the difference in endurance, I'd say.
From trial, I certainly enjoyed it, but it's really all about the upgrades.

i update it every so many hours :p
i like to atleast keep it on the front page... its not like im bumping every 5 mins.

After getting the final medal for the LSW, I decided to get back to the Polaris and am really enjoying it so far. I'm using the same setup as you with a forward grip- it's impressively accurate and great for medium ranges. I'll try the Adv. laser sight eventually but that's only useful for hipfiring and I tend to use other weapons at those ranges, but the 100 round mag is tempting for room clearing.

Great, i think im gonna haft to get both now :x

I am loving my Orion with silencer and laser sight, i think i might have to get the Polaris for some epic hipfire silenced action.
  11. Skadi

Might haft to set up a orion like that but without the laser sight... im thinking about buying the foregrip just to try it, right now im investing into the adv. laser, so i will be able to report in on that when its all said and done.

    Please do!
  13. Skadi

Will do, Although my VS is my alt, so accumulating the 128 Certs I need will take maybe 2 days.

Havn't tried the Polaris so I can't really contribute in that area.

I will say the Pulsar LSW's a nice cheapy alternative. Currently I only use 3.4x scopes on it because before I stopped playing much I was dumping everything into my LA's Pulsar C. Still a very fun LMG. It's like an Orion with more ammo and a barely noticably slower ROF. For HA i'm trying to get an area suppression build. The LSW's okay at that but the 75 round mags limit its ability for that role. I'm thinking of getting the Flare w/ Extended Mags or Foregrip and Compensator or the Polaris.

The Polaris is good for close to mid range, anything beyond that and your taking a risk with its CoF/Recoil, the large clip has saved me in the past, and is also a surprise to LA in biolabs when they find a HA hiding in their tree.

I used the Polaris through Beta but since release I've mainly used SV-88 and Orion.
Orion is fastest TTK but the LSW and SV-88 aren't far behind.

I tried the Flare for a more NC, heavy hitter feel.
It's not bad but not as quick to kill as the others.
For me at least, though some people prefer it.
  17. Skadi

I still see it, will post a pic tomorrow.

Thanks, I might end up going with the Flare then. Recoil isn't AS much of a problem for me but COF could be an issue.

I used to play The Specialists for Half Light alot and that game's recoil kicked your 4SS.

    I found it . Ta! ;)

Looking more into the stats, a Polaris with Foregrip and Compensator (which the LSW apparently can't get) should end up being insanely accurate. As in, it could actually replace both my SVA 88 and my Pandora. Darn, I need that.
