SOE Clarification on LA Jet Pack Sound

That noise is silly, sounds just like a gun going off. In a fight no one is going to notice the difference so LA can stop complaining. Noise is not directional in the game, so they will most likely assume its behind not above if at all bother. Don't see any fighting difference other than its an annoying *** sound.

Really should just be a whooshing sound and not too loud.

Don't see it as game changing at all, noobs will still die and good situational awaremenss players will still have a fighting chance.

Lots of people feel the same way. Listen to that sound in headphones, and play it 50 times in a row. Its annoying. The louder woosh sound is fine, but the bang will drive me nuts after a short period.
