Ok, the idea of this post is to see what commonality the people with poor Frame rate have. i'm hoping one of us might see a pattern and maybe find a workaround.

Please post your full spec, and your high load and low load frame rate.

    Windows 7 64bit
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670
    INTEL i7-3770k 3.9Ghz
    DDR3 16gb Ram

Everything on medium because High is completely unplayable, using latest beta drivers too.

Getting about 20 - 30 Frames a second in Large player sized fights. (Crown etc)
Getting 60 Frames a second constant at the Warpgate or in small player sized fights.

    Windows 7 64bit
    Gigabyte P55a UD3r
    Intel i5 750 @ 3.2ghz
    ATI 6850 OC
    4gb DDR3 1333 (or 1500)

    High: 100
    Low: 10
A whole magnitude of frame rate difference.

3840*1080, second monitor usually has an unused web browser on it
    Graphics: High
    Everything else: Low
    Foliage/plants: Off
    Render quality: 80%
  4. blikky

    ATI radeon 6870
    AMD phenom 2 x4 965 @ 3,4ghz.

    20-40 fps in big fights.
  5. plat0nic

The only thing we have in common is the poor framerates we're seeing, and most likely our system is less than 2 years old. See sig

    Warpgate: 40fps
    Small fight: 10-15fps
Stuttering dropping me to 4fps every 30-60 seconds

    Latest drivers
  6. Morat

The only thing we have in common is playing PS2.
This isn't a normal FPS, the CPU has a lot of work to do calculating the positions/weapons of sometimes hundreds of people and for some reason SOE haven't multithreaded it (properly/at all). AMD users tend to feel more pain on both CPU and GPU but no-one is getting super duper FPS - and you shouldn't expect to either.

Just drop your res/settings and suck it up. SOE are busy adding trinkets to the store.

Specs in sig. It's strange but I'm finding the fps much less erratic than in beta. There it was 70 to 90 in quiet areas, but tanked to 30 in heavy fighting.

On my first game last night I was getting a consistent 50fps pretty much everywhere. The only thing I didn't do was any flying yet.

I am on 1600 x 1050 resolution. Everything on max settings, motion blur off and smoke shadows off.
  8. Ndy

    My sig.

    10-25 in big/huge battles
30-60 in open or not so crowded areas.

Adjusting video settings doesnt affect performance at all.

    CPU: AMD PHENOM II X4 925 AM3 (3.1GHz)
    Motherboard: GA-MA785GT-UD3H
    Memory: KINGSTON 8GB
    GPU:GIGABYTE GTX460 (800Mhz Core clock / 2000Mhz Memory clock)
    OS: win8 / 64bit
    Drivers: Latest Beta Drivers

    20-30fps on medium.
  10. nitram1000

    Specs in sig.

1920x1080, High settings (Texture set to ultra in .ini file as this actually increases my FPS), render 100%, motion blur, ambient occlusion but fog shadows off.

    Big fights 25-40 fps
    Medium fights 45-60
    Small fights 50-100

CPU usage stays consistent at a paltry 40-48%
When frame rate drops very low, GPU usage drops to 50%.

They should have used a different engine, this one is awful. What I don't understand is when they say that they have graphics options that can't even be used yet and that they will be usable in a few years time, but surely that is pointless if the game can't even make use of current high end CPU's. We will have to wait until we have 9ghz CPU's before we can run this game well.

    CPU: AMD FX6100@3,8GHz
    GPU: AMD HD7770 1Gb@1170/1440 with 12.11beta8 driver
    RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz cl9
    HDD: Samsung 830 128Gb
    OS: Windows 8 64bit
Same fps in 1920x1200 low or med settings, in a big fight around 10-20fps and gpu load around 30-50%, cpu 40-60%/thread.
When i run the game in win7 compatible, it gets a bit of improvement in fps, not much though.
  12. bman7

    Windows 7 64-bit
    Intel HD graphics
    8 GB RAM
    i5 3.2 GHz

45 FPS max, in large fights about 20
  13. ISHKUR

    CPU: AMD FX-8120 @ 4.6Ghz
    GPU: GeForce GTX 680
    MEM: 8GB DDR3 RAM
    PSU: 900 Gold PSU
HDD: 2x 1TB Western Digital Black
    Reso: 1920x1080 x 2

    Anything from 20 - 100 FPS :| average of ...... an epic 30fps!!!!

I spend a lot of Money in my Rig, and im Disappointed... here it is.

    CPU : AMD Phenom II X6 1090T OC @ 6 x 4,2 GhZ
    GPU : 2 x Club 3D Radeon HD 5870 OC @ 895 / 1300 - CROSSFIRED
    Catalyst 12.11 Beta8

    Mem : 4 x 2 GB - G-Skill @ 1600 MhZ
    Mainboard : Gigabyte GA 890 FXA UD-7
    PSU : Corsair 950W
    OS : Windows 7 Ultimate x64
SSD : Corsair Force GT (Boot)
    HDD : WD Velociraptor (Gaming)

    Res : 1920x1080
Settings : ULTRA (without Fog Shadows)

Out of Battle : 55-70 FPS
    In Battle : 10-20 FPS

I really hope 4 update... I never had issues like in this Game... Since 1 Year ive never played
a Game on my Rig thats goin under 60 FPS.
  15. BlueJay

Though my FPS is virtually the same as it was in beta (drops to 30 FPS in large fights), I notice a much smoother "feel" to the game. During FPS drops in beta, it felt very sluggish due to the stuttering. Stuttering isn't so much of a problem now. I would appreciate a higher FPS, but I'm elated that I can have a decent experience on my AMD Phenom II X6 now.

    MS Windows 7 64-bit SP 1
    Intel Core I5-2000K (4x) Cpu @ 3.30Ghz,
    8.0GB RAM
    NVIDIA GeDForce GTX 570

60 at WG with low traffic going up 10 120 (then its GPU bound yey)
    In buildings 25
    battles 20 and below
average around 40 to 60. Seems to drop when near enemys aswell
  17. Alex Thunder

16-28 fps in big tekplant fights. 35-50fps insmaller fights (40 players)
    Out of fights 55-60
    ---- AMD Phenom 2 x6 @ 3.5GHz - NV GTX460 ----

    I know I can probably can get a 50% better fps by getting i7 @ 4.2+ GHz.
This really hurts because I have no chanse in game when i have 16 vs a player that wealthy gamer that has 24 in that same battle.

There would be nothing to whine about if i had 40 fps and my enemy had 60. Then I would be able to kill him just as well.
  18. ilys01

Specs can be found in sig. ~80fps at WG, <40fps during medium battles and <20fps during large battles.
Each 670 rarely pushes more than 35% and more often than not less than 30%. Dedicating one card to physx, each card rarely pushes more than 50% and more often than not less than 40%.
  19. warmachine1

    i5-2500 (3,3 Ghz *4)
    GTX 460 (1GB)
    4GB RAM

    Running on medium/high
    90% render q
    triple buffering
Fps 60 in WG (vsync on), 25+ in big battles (mostly limited by CPU)

finding optimal setting is quite time consuming cause everything except render Q need to restart PS2
  20. FluffyM

I get poor performance as well, have to play on settings that make the game look worse than PS1.
