Thanks for your interest guys! @Light5song - yes our website is no longer a thing, we use our Steam group page and group to stay in contact with each other since this has proved to be more efficient in the long run and takes a bit of the price for running an outfit down! Post Friday Night Ops Recap Last night was our Friday Night Ops which started at 7 pm CEN / 8 pm EST and we really kicked some ***. We spent most of our warm up time on Hossin and began with some infantry. When the VS started pushing us back into a base, we saw the chance to utilize the choke point they were headed for (since there are oh so many on Hossin) and pulled Vanguards and Lightnings and Support Sundies to hold off a huge platoon+ coming for the base gate. This went on for a time until the inevitable VS overpop came and started steamrolling all our territory from the Southeast. We decided to switch to Amerish for the remainder of our play session and this proved to be even more intense! We saw that the TR had a good foothold on the Kwahtee Mountain Complex and we weren't making any headway with the little numbers we had there. We grabbed a galaxy and dropped our squad right in the fight, ready to go. We met heavy resistance but pushed into the mountain several times to secure Alpha Point. Little did BDM know that a galaxy drop and redeploy group was headed straight for us to stop us... We crept through the back tunnel at KMC and right as we got near the end, almost an entire platoon of TR showed up with maxes and infantry flooding in through the drop point outside their small spawn hut. This was obviously surprising and we were wiped out almost immediately. However it is the Blue Dream Mercenaries' stoic nature that made them not give up, and for the next 45 minutes it was a constant (and incredible fun and rewarding) back and forth until we could figure out a solid strategy and route to blast through their very solid defenses (props to xCOx for the intensity brought). Once broken through, we had enough support from our faction to lay down enough suppression to hold the enemy back and secure Alpha and the rest of the Lattice all the way to their warpgate. Once you start the Freedom Train... It's hard to stop! Come join us every Wednesday and Friday nights for our bi-weekly Ops to see how and why a close community, tactical teamwork, and communication are staples of our outfit in order to bring our great NC faction to victory. If you're looking for a fun, active outfit with a smaller experience with a dash of competitiveness, we're that outfit! We have a lot of solid players who know the game and play very regularly. Our members are always willing to teach new players the ropes, so don't be concerned if you are new, we enjoy engaging with new players to get them up to speed. We are hoping that when people come back to check out Hossin and other massive changes to the game we love to play, that they will stick around. Our busiest nights before the Summer hit, we would run 24 man squads every Wednesday and Friday night starting at 7 pm CEN / 8 pm EST. Occasionally we'd have 30-36 players online on a given night!! We consistently work towards faction goals and do joint ops with many other smaller outfits to band together and have fun as well as get stuff done. If you're interested in becoming part of the team and fighting for the NC, give us a shout because we are more than happy to have newcomers, established players, or returning veterans!
